| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mad Trigger Crew's episode with police officer Jyuto at the helm, and on the outset, looks to be the same formula as the last 2 episodes of internal personal strife (which is kinda boring). Good thing that there's fellow buddies to help out with clearing out the snuffs of society with the bombastic rap battles (which is always the best part). Same with Fling Posse to save Dice with his gambling stints in the most over-dramatic manner, but who cares LOLS, the songs are where it's at. Mission completed, and all 4 groups pass their Divisional Battles. Time for the setup towards the Final Battle! |

| I was really hoping for this to be a full MTC episode but considering the preview they posted on Twitter it did seem like it would be half and half MTC and Posse screentime. But I'm not that mad, unless next week they will pull a full on Fling Posse episode. But I kinda doubt it considering the fact that they were showing DRB at the end of the episode. So I guess it's battle time now? Hehe, rly hoping they will animate smth from the drama cds now or the manga but a part of me has started giving up on that. However, it will still be fun regardless of who the winner is considering the anime is basically original content at this point. So it doesn't matter that much. BUT OMG, the MTC rap and Fling Posse rap were great. I loved them soooo much. I'm also extremely surprised about the new Posse rap because instead of being really poppy like they usually are it was more edgy sounding and I looooved how aggressive it was. Like we have Stella which is a more edgy song but its still very much pop rap. But this one slapped so hard. I can't wait for the rest! I also got sooo confused as to why Dice was tied up lying on the table dhajf, the shady dudes also tried cheating when gambling but they were found out. Also a gendice moment which is always appreciated even if it was weird at firs how Gentaro just put the dice into Dice's mouth (wow typing that felt weird LMAO) |

| Tbh this show would be 10 times more engaging if it was exclusively a buddy cop story of a corrupt officer with ties to yakuza/military lol. Best boys in action would be rather scrumptious. And a lot of potential to get plot-heavy instead of episodic antics of grown men haha. Nevertheless I am enjoying myself, it is a different kind of enjoyment that is not long-lasting and imaginative but more of a "on the go" fun. "Decent apples" huh? In lieu of recent political climate that's an interesting metaphor to use. I think calling Jyuto one of the 'good apples' wouldn't be altogether honest, but at least he doesn't take advantage of the public unlike the thugs in this episode, who were clearly intended to be the pure evil to be defeated. Unsurprisingly, each division passed the quarterfinals, and again expectedly, MTC v BB and Fling Posse v Matenrou were the pairings, probably so Ichiro and Samatoki can settle their scores. I'm expecting MTC to go up to finals, if only for the reason that BB doesn't really have a comparable fan base (if I'm not mistaken) and the studio would appease more people with an MTC win. Fling Posse v Matenrou can go either way, but I'm slightly erring on the side of Posse. |

| The 2nd part was unexpected but it made me laugh, good episode. The rap battle is going to start next week. |

| So we get an episode dedicated to MTC and Fling Posse. On the MTC side, Juyto was being held up at work when a case was assigned to him at the last minute before the division rap battle. Turns out that Juyto's co-workers were involved in the case of stolen goods and the information came from an unlikely source thanks to the Buster Bros. Juyto's co-workers decided to get rid of the third man, but Crazy M saved him. This lead to a rap battle between Juyto's co-workers and MTC. MTC performed "Bayside-Suicide" and the other side got demolished. Juyto's case was solved and MTC advances to the semi finals. Meanwhile in Shibuya, Ramuda gets a call that Dice is held hostage because he gambled 10 million yen so Ramuda and Gentaro had to bail him out again. It turns out that the guys that Dice was gambling against were using weighted dice which lead to a rap battle in which Fling Posse performed "Jackpot". Fling Posse also advances to the semi finals. Now that the preliminary battles are over, we finally get our long waited showdown between Buster Bros. vs. MTC and Fling Posse vs. Matenro. Now I'm not going to tell you which group is going to win because these Division Rap Battles were determined by the fans who bought the Division Battle Rap CDs two years ago. All I can say that the battle between Buster Bros. and MTC is intense while Fling Posse vs. Matenro is entertaining. I'll leave you guys with a preview of Season 1's Division Rap Battle |

| Okay. As the episode felt so fast, i might ended up my comment rather simple this time. Lol. So they are speeding up a bit with the rest of the team qualifiers stage matter. Since the first two previous episode already solved Matenro and Buster Bros struggle. On these episode, MTC with Jyouto and his police career trouble. Funny how MTC got helped from the Buster Bros members, without even they realized. Lol, interesting how those photographer girl disguised herself as a hacker that owned a ramen shop to Saburou. While Saburou himself told her as a game creator from Dubai. Interesting! Then, FP with Dice's gambling trouble. I thought Ramuda would revealed his dark side too on these episode, to destroyed those low-life cheater. But, everything seemed too easy as Dice's fortune suddenly appeared to save his own neck. Nice! Well, everything just easily ended up with a nice little rap that blew up their respective enemies. Okay, they were officially step up to the final four! Welcome to the final battle, four of you, BB, MTR, MTC, and FP. Lets fight each others with a nice rap battle, shall you? Onward to the next episode, please! |

| Also one thing I found funny. In MTC rap section wasn't Samatoki saying "Do or Nothing" in a different accent than Japanese? Kinda like Russian but not quite. I thought that was odd but also kind of cute |

| Fuck the police. I thought this episode was going to be a MTC episode, didn't expect it to be half MTC half Fling Posse. But, hey let's go we are entering the semi-finals and we are going to get Buster Bros vs MTC from the get go. Time to find out what the beef between Samatoki and Ichiro is. I like that female photographer though, especially her design. Looking forward to the next episode, we are finally getting our rap battles. |

As for the raps in this episode, both were good and though I have preferences towards the MTC boys, I gotta say I liked the general flow in Fling Posse's rap way more. Samatoki sure was struggling with that english lol. |
| Oooh, Ramuda nearly let his dark side out for a minute there. Fling Posse's Jackpot rap was awesome! One of my favs so far! Looking forward to seeing the 4 divisions go head to head! I'm guessing next ep we get to see Buster Bros vs Mad Trigger Crew and you know what that means; Ichiro & Samatoki's fated rap battle! |
