THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is advance screening for those who ask. Anyway I've been waiting for this since it was announced. Cannot believe it's that time already. Man I really love how expressive each character is. Bushiroad really went all out on this project. The future of CGI anime is bright. From Rinku just being herself to Peaky P-Key performance that are lit. Moreover Nana Mizuki and RAYCHEL sing the ED make me more hyped. Cannot wait for more. Kyouko is love BTW. |

That was an awesome first episode! Really enjoyed the first interactions and the introduction to the story. I think they nailed it with Rinku's genkiness being very fun and not annoying, she's just a lovable airhead... who seems to have a great talent for music, Maho was so surprised. Rinku using shells as way to pay for the help was so funny, different standards due to where she lived until now I guess. Peaky P-Key's performance was great as well, the fact they played one of my favorite songs from them also helps, Denran Countdown is such a banger. That school btw wtf, it looks amazing, the funds for DJ equipment too xD I'm curious about the fact they played a cover as ED, I wonder if they will do one per episode, but I'm in to stay just to see Maho dancing to the music haha. Now to wait two weeks for the next episode q_q, early release was great to finally watch the series, but now gotta wait longer for episode 2, so excited for it! |

What kind of high school that prepare DJ equipments for their students. That's cool. They even have activities during break time. And, the performance was great and well done. |

The cgi for this series is very smooth, I really appreciate that I was worried it was going to be ugly when I heard it was cgi but it’s all good quality |

Really hope the style doesn't put people off, I thought it was fine honestly, loved how the characters are so far, the op is also quite catchy and flashy. |

Is this Hynopsis Mic, girl idols' edition??? Well...as expected of 3DCGI studio Sanzigen, which is what the studio does these days, not the best but passable. But given it's another of Bushiroad's IP, as with any idol music project, the music part always bops, as with previous adaptations of BanG Dream! and such. Fine start though. |

D4DJ's anime is finally out and I'm honestly very impressed. The characters are so expressive, and Sanzigen's animation is honestly amazing in this. I'd definitely say this is their best work yet. Rinku as a main character is honestly the genki archetype done right, keeping that energy while not overloading it. This is a problem I had with Kasumi in Bang Dream, and as much as I love her, the balance is pretty unstable in her character. Rinku is a better kasumi and I'm all here for it. The music here is really nice, and overall really good first episode that I actually think is one of the best of the Fall 2020 anime season. You can tell the people working on this one had loads of fun. |

really do hate cgi, my opinion on this show might have been different if I did like it. I think the cgi makes cute girls look bad. Since we only see the girls only in cgi, I don’t think they’re cute in the anime. It looks like this is going to be another road to being an idol/musician show. |

I hope WOW WAR TONIGHT comes to the app soon. Overall, I really enjoyed this first episode. Rinku and Maho have good chemistry, and it was nice to already see some of Peaky. The only issues I had were some pacing problems (there was ZERO reason to show us the entire clip of Rinku going to the wrong classroom a second time. They literally showed the whole thing just a couple minutes after we saw it the first time...) and background animation stuff. While I think the CG looks great and the characters are really fluid, the backgrounds can look super sparse and "too clean" (like the DJ practice room or Maho's bedroom). Also, every student that is not a main character has a pretty ugly basic face XD z00nex said: really do hate cgi, my opinion on this show might have been different if I did like it. The app (Where the girls appear very similar to their anime counterparts) is already in open beta with the official release this coming week. They also have live shows where the voice actresses do concerts of the songs. |

This type of CGI really grew on my during Bang Dream S2-3 because it's so fluid and matches up with the way the game looks so much. |

When I saw that the first episode had aired on my site, I decided to check out the MAL page and the forums to see whether or not I should watch this, and the general response seemed pretty good, so I gave it a try. So far, i'd say it's not bad for a full CG anime. That being said, i've only seen one other full CG anime, and that's Hello World, so I can't really comment on the quality of the CG. So far the story seems pretty simple, overtalented girl who doesn't know she's overtalented gets into a new hobby, girl with a background in said hobby makes friends with her, they have different goals, blah blah blah, nothing too new. That being said, it isn't bad. I know nothing about DJ'ing, so this can be an interesting experience if done right! Overall, not expecting too much from this, just hoping that it doesn't disappoint :) |

From the same studio who made BanG Dream, Love Live and many other great works, we get a new music anime around DJs. First of all I have to say the music is great. I love music in general, especially idols. I know how to play instruments as well but didn't really know anything about DJs. Today I learned more about DJing than I ever knew. Well for everyone who watched BG! it's the same animation feeling. Playing spot the MC is here very easy. So yeah let's see how to be a great DJ unit! |

Everything was good... except the jarringly odd differences between the main characters, and the background character, who ended up looking like they came from Argonavis. Really weird art direction from a team that already did 2 seasons of Bang Dream and a season of Argonavis. But, CG for the music performances were great, as I expected they would be. Rinku is reminding me of an old school Hoshimiya Ichigo from Aikatsu, and it's giving me nostalgia. |

Okay, this was genuinely fun to watch! NGL, I'd next to no expectations for this but the Op won me over xD and I'm kind of glad it did. Hopefully, the show can keep up the momentum and provide a pleasant ride like what 22/7 managed to do last year. MC is some genki kid, I must say by the way lol. Charming, nonetheless. Being raised up in the jungle and her mother specialising in dung beetles, that's certainly unique. ED visual was pretty nice too, I didn't I would like to see an anime girl jamming please me lmao. Main theme, War War etc., is pretty dope too, definitely my jam. |

This show looks and sounds amazing, but god help me I'm so sick of little girls and their school lives. I wish the show was actually about the two adult girls that were singing WOW WAR TONIGHT. btw if you want to see something fun go on youtube and look up the 1995 live performance of this song titled "H Jungle with t / WOW WAR TONIGHT ~時には起こせよムーヴメント" |

Actually in D4DJ Groovy Mix game two out of six units (Rondo and Merm4id) consist of girls who are college students. I think that the first season will most probably focus on units within the one school (Happy Around, Peaky P-key, Photon Maiden) but other units will also appear at some point in the anime. |

I'd like to know why people think this studio made some love live ? They're only doing bang dream as far as I'm aware, love live was always a sunrise thing I watched bang dream s1 but still need to watch the rest so maybe I'm not used enough to this cg, but while the expressions are really nice, it's still overall way to "bright" and miss the "roughness" of animation. Love live manage to avoid that by only having a little bit of cg during clips (and the cg is getting better each season) I really enjoy the d4dj game but I'm not sure I'll stay for the anime, I'll let it have a few more eps before I decide to stop or not |

Thought I'd give this a go and was really surprised by how much I liked the music. I'm a big trance fan, used to go clubbing and raving back in the early 90's so I like my happy hardcore too, some of this reminded me of early 90's happy hardcore and had that vibe, with a touch of jungle mixed in. I'm really, really surprised. I thought anime dance music may not mix. I like Shingo Nakumura and his progressive trance stuff, but haven't heard of any other Japanese dance music, but the music at the end was epic. Loved Wow Wow Tonight track at the end. |

@MetaThPr4h Bushiroad were the only producers for AL. In addition, this series was originally based on the MariMite style, so this was expected even before the anime. @L-Mo-Reppin When I last listened to "yuri reviewers" about anime's yuri potential, I learned that Destruction Flag Otome was never a yuri bait, or that male love interest would never get much attention in a one hobby shonen with a female cast. Needless to say, both ideas were ludicrous nonsense? Don't ask biased people about abstract things. |

Wish people enjoyed yuri more then ntr or tentacles lol I immediately realized that we were talking about the same person. YuriEmpire is essentially a lesbian version of fujoshi with all the related things like "they look at each other, they fockin", etc. I'd rather read Erica Friedman, who, for all her eerie feminist and SJW bias, tries to be sober about content and not wear shipping goggles unnecessarily. Few? Well, that's a pretty dubious statement. Yes, there is very little "real" yuri, but yuri bait or ship bait is now quite a lot. For example, this season already has at least 1.5 yuri shows and a lot of ship bait like Strike Wiches. And in general, the genre has long been more trendy than glam metal in the 80s, lol. |

It was so cute! Rinku really like Maho and was bringing her romantic love gifts through the whole episode. It was love at first sight! Awwwww the little lesbian lovebirds are so cute together,,,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES Rinku is the sweetest pie and I really like her. So happy full of genki and have this cute childish behavior❤❤ And to my great joy the bell lily's was in picture. One of the strongest Yuri symbols for lesbians in anime and manga.Who knows maybe this anime even going to have lesbian kissing later in?,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES A decent first episode I love the Yuri vibes and that its pretty pure. Only saw some background males . Good! I only accept my cute lesbians |
