| don't remember much because i watched this a long time ago but it was really disappointing, i don't think it was bad but it just wasn't as good as the TV series (plot/story-wise). |
| I mean besides people liking it more, sequels are more likely to have higher ratings because people who didn't like it (rating 5 or lower) are less likely to have watched the movie and thus reduces the lower ratings. And as most people seemed to have liked the movie more, the rating will be higher. |

| I think the movie really improved on many of the issues that plagued the initial series. Whereas the series does so much telling and not enough showing to the point where it feels like talk therapy by relatively underdeveloped characters at times, the movie was far more emotionally investable because it took the time to properly set up a more complex setting and drama at hand and it took the time to actually flesh out and develop our mains using it. Sakuta comes across far less as a gary stu, his choices carry more stakes and emotional weight, his relationship with Mai feels more authentic, and the entire series that preceded the movie feels a little more grounded. That's not to say that the movie was without its own flaws (especially related to "time-travelling" which seems to plague everything that plays around with it), but I feel that what the movie managed to accomplish was quite respectable especially given that it was working with a relatively lackluster starting series. |

I still liked the movie, but it was a bit messy. I liked the anime much more. |
| Who cares abt scores anyways? I do feel overall the movie was much better than the series. Although, the Mai arc of the anime is miles better than the movie for sure |
| It's easily the best story arc adapted thus far so even without the sequel effect I don't think it's too odd that it's higher. but yeah I mean, someone who likes the movie probably rated the show no more than 1, maybe 2 points lower so... |
| It was bad a movie and hella boring too. The series was boring too after few good eps and i watched the Movie cuz i thought maybe the Movie will have something more interesting since it was rated so High! By some High people *cough* Anyway Just boring that's all |
