I don't check my notifications on this site more than maybe a couple times a year. My profile block of text is less an indication that I use the site socially and more just me being an autist. I encourage all engagement anyway, just don't take it personally that I probably won't respond.
I don't tend to finish things I dislike. Some shows I've dropped without bothering to list.
if I truly enjoyed something, i'll probably give it over a 6. 6 may be enjoyable but too flawed to not acknowledge - or I personally disliked it but acknowledge its merits. Anything below I likely regret watching.
I put much more weight on personal entertainment value than some prescribed artistic ideal, and I'll freely admit to being pleased by simple things like moe, especially if elevated by good direction, production values, seiyuu etc. Basically I have no problem giving a good show a high rating even if it lacks a bit in emotional or intellectual depth - as long as it does what it does well and is fun to watch.
1-5 = levels of negative, 6-10 = positive is the correct rating system. Any other interpretation of the 1-10 scale is bullshit for dummies/schizo tryhards. Decimals are great for further specificity but not available on this site.
I've rewatched quite a few shows I like anywhere from 1 to excess of 5 times, and that's where a lot of my anime watching time goes, but it's a pain to bother logging it and kind of pointless so I just don't bother anymore.
Dubs are verboten. A show watched dubbed is a show half watched at best.
