Hmm, I think this was a rather interesting episode...in particular with how Hakumei's request for carpentry. Thought it was kinda interesting to see the way characters work in this show.

It's actually quite extraordinary what some of these characters can do despite their size.

A very constructive episode, and I mean that literally as Hakumei joins Iwashi on a job-site restoring a stone wall along with other construction workers led by Boss Narai. Narai turned out to be a cool character, and once again I enjoyed Iwashi. Hakumei sure has a passion for her work, whatever it may be. Very admirable, and I'm glad her effort and perseverance paid off. If there was any negative about this episode it might be that there wasn't much for Mikochi to do really, even cooking on the job-site she felt kinda just there. Not a big issue though really, and besides, it was sweet of her to come cheer on her "husband" just as Narai's wife did for him, right? XD

I enjoy this series as much as i enjoy Yuru Camp. I love the characters, the music, and the flow of events. The pacing is perfect and relaxing.

So little comments after hours, so underwatched by many.

And I really like to believe that Hakumei and Mikochi are both married couple. They're so cute together. Glad to know the work itself pointed that out, and "I'm a woman" quote doesn't bother me because it's pretty much everywhere in a yuri work before the relationship would happen. Not like I'm hoping that they go down that route though (maybe), it's already fine as it is.

Yeah, this is definitely the dark horse of the season. Not that it's surprising though, given the kind of series this is. Plus, Yuru Camp and A Place Farther kinda stole the spotlight this season for CGDCT/SOL shows.

Lots of workin Hakumei this episode, it is kind of hard to tell if Hakumei is a girl or boy, took me a little bit to figure it out, doesn't help that the main duo does indeed look like a married couple. This was a good and sweet episode.

Nice episode where both halves revolve around repairing the retaining wall. I guess Hakumei is fairly low on the ranks of apprentices, but she proves her worth. This show is heartwarming

They really look already like a cute married couple, I just wished Mikochi had more relevance this episode.

Such dedication. Though the Chairman didn't "look" her at the first, Hakumei didn't lose her eagerness and still do her best until the time comes for her to join the project.

It is said that behind a great man, there is a great woman, now we have a tangible example. It's nice to see Hakumei finding her find a steady job, and her great humility in addition to her resolve, what a woman! Quality of drawings, impeccable. Relaxing the view of the episode as usual.

I loved that moment of awkwardness when the chairman mistakenly thought Hakumei was a guy, Hakumei corrected him, and there was a solid 5 seconds of awkward silence.

No they won't go to that route since it is not a yuri. The author said he wants to focus on different characters interaction and not romance. It may turn out like Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! where people ship the 2 girls and then enrage because a male love interest appear halfway.

Really fascinating episode. I enjoyed it from start to end, plus personally, I found carpentry as a really interesting subject so I can say this ep. was kind of my cup of tea.

So... I assume that Hakumei and Mikochi are just housemates then? It's a shame... I mean, not that I mind but they really look like a married couple but oh well. However, probably I'll still see them as a couple because of the chemistry they have and because I have seen them in that way since ep. 1.

How the chairman thought, that Hakumei is married with Mikochi was gold. Also I love the chairman's wife.

It's great that Hakumei could prove herself.

Hakumei assumed as a husband makes me smile. No wonder though, cause she is pretty masculine but in a cute way. And in the end finally she can prove herself

First guy I saw here. He looks Hatsuharu Sohma. Mikochi is "wife" lol I don't know why mangaka decides to make Hakumei a girl. It's cute if it's husband and wife tiny life.

I get the sense that Hakumei and Mikochi are lesbians or at least "open" to swing that way sexually if indeed it is the case that the gnomes/inchlings of this world are not asexual beings, but the series and mangaka can't spell that out explicitly because it could attract controversy.

This was my favorite episode, and in a way the pinnacle of the Iyashikei genre. All they did was repair a wall and i loved absolutely every second of it. Lol at the president thinking Hakumei was a guy, she is that driven and determined in her work though. Great stuff again.
