man, this show is real good. That ending was real unexpected too. It makes sense her being a rabbit and all.

The OP is really good (love the animation and the song) but I'm surprised no one has pointed out the obvious in that it really borrows a lot from Cowboy Bebop's OP, Tank. Not that there's anything wrong in borrowing from the best.

yea I like the opening a lot as its high beat and catchy. Also it must've taken a shit ton of work with those puppets. Im guessing Louis is going to be cheered by the girls everytime he shows up in a crowd hu lol. Haru sure seems to be sexually open going by the end scene though going by her tone its more of a bothersome thing then enjoyment. So are the rumors that she sleeps with all the guys? Seeing legoshis reaction to everything in this episode was pretty funny and man he had a tight grip on that bunny. Also was not expecting bunny boobies.

The saying "fucking like rabbits" is not a joke. She undressed so casually I thought I was dreaming, but at the same time they are animals lolz anyways not like humans can't be wild about sex. Man I just love the wolfs inner thoughts.

Damn, the end really a shocking therapy for me. Usually i don't have a problem seeing some shit like that scene before. However, for the bunny girl in nudity? Your wild dream must come true!

Changing the topic. The whole Louis problem for the drama club really nice. His behaviour somehow irritated and look a bit arrogant. But still his performance was nice, especially when he received that wound. Beastar, a justice league to the academy matters? Sounds like that, the concept looks promising. Legosi must be the choose one for that Beastar part in the future, maybe. Still, his action to surpressed the wild instinct must be so hard to relieved. Glad the worst scenes got on hold while the progression keep its best. However, the end still bugging me. Why Haru do that? More promising story material to follow!

Wow, just amazing. It's so good!!!

However, I'm slightly confused about her - does she actually not remember what happened last night, or is she bluffing?

The intro was awesome as well, something we haven't seen before.

WHAT, the rabbit is a whore?

Kind of overshadowed what was otherwise the wolf being conflicted the whole episode with his internal monologue.

Is the deer's injury going to have an impact on the story?

The directing in this show has been superb. The opening visuals using stop motion is such a creative, fitting and beautiful choice to complement the jazzy, charismatic song and showed some beautiful contrasts in tone from the dark, grim chase where Legoshi is chasing after Haru showcasing his carnivorous desires while after meeting Haru, it turns into a dance with nose kisses showing how his world almost lit up when actually meeting someone like Haru who he admired and felt accepted him for who he is.

And furthermore, I loved the showcase of Legoshi's mindset by showing the outline of his face and the sight of Haru in front of him, showcasing Legoshi's mindset and the little ticks that he shows like a bit of nervousness or confusion on what to do. It's clearly an adaptation filled with passion and making most of the material at hand. It's definitely superior so far to the early stages of the manga for the directing and the cinematography.

Haru and Legoshi's awkward talk at the garden was cute, but since Legoshi is too shy and unable to express himself and what he wants, Haru perceives it as him treating her like everyone else, either scared of her for who she was or someone just judgemental and for her, the easiest way to avoid conflict with fellow herbivores or carnivores is to offer herself sexually or to just let it end since she's too frail and weak mentally and physically to do anything else. Legoshi's a kind soul though so she'll really see that in the future. Great stuff overall.

Considering how I was mixed on the manga at the very end, it's even more of a shame since the anime clearly is off to a great start and I wish the material stayed consistently good like this in the manga from beginning to end. Shame, but at least it doesn't affect the quality of the first season, especially since the adaptation of said material has been stellar so far.

This show is heat so far, an even better episode than the first one.
When I first saw Rouis I knew I would not like his snobby alter ego, however, this episode made him do a complete 180, what a character, I love how the show is not straight forward with its characters, like, even the background filler has a charisma and a personality.

The characters with the highest sense of justice have a higher tendency to fall from grace in a bigger magnitude, quite worried for Louis

I initially thought of Louis as an asshole, but seeing him protect the guy from falling and going through with the drama despite his injury really changed his image. Hal sure moves fast after just meeting Legoshi, I'm really shocked when she started to undress

Well Haru is labelled as the school slut, so probably it's true. Legoshi's reaction to that summarises my reaction to the endingXD

Louis was being demeaning towards the other students in the previous episode but after seeing him save Zoe, he ain't a bad guy. That scene in the beginning was pretty fucking intense.

The title of Beastar huh...so Louis has a concrete goal now. Louis limping towards the stage and then putting on the persona while entering was the best scene.

The scene at the beginning with Legoshi fighting his instincts was tense.

Also, I love how Legoshi actually thinks in real time lol.

Haru seems like such an innocent and sweet girl on the outside, but it's quickly revealed how broken and misused she actually is. She initiated it but it felt like she didn't give herself a choice and just took it as the usual.

WHY?! WHY DO DOES HARU HAVE TO STRIP?! I know if he's hesitating of what to say to her about the incident when Legoshi tried to attack her, but THIS IS NOT WHAT HE MEANT!!!!

OP song is really good. Love it.
I actually thought that the reason why those girls bully her is bcs she is cute and tiny and a lot of guys has a crush on her (like the highschool crushes/confessions thingy) I didn't know she's actually going as far as having *** ๐Ÿ˜… That was unexpected . Kai is so cute when complimented and what will happen to Louis?

Cool seeing it again! I don't remember everything perfectly so it was cool seeing the scenes again. Not a lot happened but there was a lot of build up. And again just stellar beautiful animation. It's just a very good show, not a lot to say about this episode. The final scenes in the garden were sweet tho! And don't call me a furry for it because of you know what; it's just a good show that I enjoy. It still kinda bothers me how quickly everyone brushed over Tems death because the characters keep saying how shocking it is. I am excited to watch more though!

So far I'm a bit hesitant with this series (not exactly it's target demographic). The setting is an interesting one for sure, but I've yet to see if it's just superficial and the world in which it takes place is explained in any detail. Pretty interested so far, but unlike others, I wasn't super fond of that ending...

everyone is eating soy it seems

After the first episode I was very confused at how this world works... I mean, if carnivores and herbivores live together, what do the carnivores actually eat? Well, this episode explained it thankfully. I wonder how it came to be this way. I hope it explores this part of the world in further episodes. But as a herbivore myself, I welcome such a nonviolent future.

Better episode than the first but it did leave me confused a bit about what happened to Hal's memory lol. I'm left wondering if she was even aware what happened or if she thinks she fell out of bed. The action wasn't too spicy and to just drop the case with just "taboo claims" doesn't sit right with me. Hopefully the next episode goes stronger, especially with that last bit of miscommunication.

I like it so far, but my main issue is that most carnivors would be death if the only animal products they can eat are eggs and milk.
I assume they've evolved long ago so that there are no strict carnivors and the need to eat meat is more of an instict and not needed for survival. Atleast that my head canon :D
