| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The first half of every episode: *squeals* OMG hime is so freaking cute, this show is too damn wholesome. Second half: “I turned 18 today dad” *instant depression* Next week will hopefully reveal all of the teases we’ve been getting all season about what’s happened to Goto sensei and why he’s gone. Based on the note Hime got at the end I’m assuming she’ll learn about him being a mangaka. I really really hope he’s not dead and is instead in some remote area in the middle of nowhere working on his next work One more ep to go, let’s finish out strong, gonna miss this one a lot. |

| Christmas. the pangs of festivities. but even for mangakas, it's a time they cannot be relentless (at least THAT much to keep Hime's enthusiasm afloat). It's always a coincidence for Tomaruin and Goto-sensei to meet up in uncertain areas...it chuckles my funny bones. Conferences (or meetings on the simple regard), no matter who or where, the pressure builds up. For Goto-sensei, it's reaching the penultimate climax of his manga direction...whilst the money debt piles up like mad...it's really the episode aptly named: "Saikano, the Last Love Song on this Little Planet". Kakushi's gift to Hime, not just to spend time, but to accomplish what he has left with the fellow manga artists...to recapture the heartpangs LIKE MAD, because financial reasons to support her. Which was a nice touch...until this joker Tomaruin shows up, you ALWAYS appear at the worst timings possible, turning legends to myths. Hime wants to celebrate her birthday, so she requests Kakushi to cook meals with her, expanding their family bonds together. Such a sweet and quickie moment for the entire character cast that we've seen so far. Happy blessed 11th birthday Hime, plus The Fourth Roku, the trio are a family together, forever. Back to the present day, the SAME gift that Kakushi gave her all those years ago...it's memories that linger, but still, this puzzle has a twist. The final key being a KEY, which holds the penultimate secret to Kakushi's secrets after all this while. The end-game draws ever closer... |

| Happy birthday Hime, it was a lively party. I like the scene where Hime is blowing candles, seeing Hime's smile like that it feels like I also want to celebrate a birthday soon, but it's still a long time. look at this. Of the many gifts received by Hime, the booom was a gift from Kakushi. A music box, according to what Kakushi promised. I hope Hime likes it, if you look at the expression on her face, I know that Hime really likes it.  |

| Yes, meetings can be somewhat tiring... Begone with all of them! (No, not really, communication is quite important but some are meaningless). Communication is important as you can see in this episode, especially when you have the likes of Tomaruin ruin the whole thing with inviting both parties without saying anything as to why and both are coming to conclusions! Well, in the end he wrote very interesting chapters, lol. Seeing Hime so happy with her birthday is like seeing an angel. She still has the music box and is playing it while going through the photo book... ;_; Curious as to what secrets she will find when she reaches the destination circled on the map and the key! |

| Only last episode left..... The secret reveal is incoming..... Especially the few words after the ending song is even more mysterious... We have here clearly the best editor. Find an editor like him and you will have a lot of fun for sure. |

| Man the first half with that misunderstanding part was so frustrating to watch, that editor is always so fucking annoying I hate to see him tbh, it's sad that actual mangakas have to deal with those kind And the second part with the birthday party was wholesome and lively and they had a second birthday party too with the three of them So the last episode is upon us its gonna be way too sad or will be a huge troll, that preview dialogue made me tensed |

| Ah the first part was so funny, everything from the misunderstanding of those three about caring for each others' meetings that greedy Tomaruin hosting a meeting between the chief and Goto-sensei. The well scene was really funny as well. But Tomaruin is still really irritating, he's got to be the worst editor ever. Thanks for that, I have to rewatch every episode at a higher speed and make notes of every episode just because my brain can't remember the details lol. I won't have to do that now. |

| Damn, mangaka struggles in that first half there really hit hard. It's tough being an author and churning gold after gold, and hence why it's essential for some to drag their respective works - lesson learned. I knew just lightly about this to be honest but this episode gave us a really touching and realistic insight which is hard not to feel for. Editor-san really is a hopeless lad, good thing Gotou-sensei's assistant picked up on that early on. I find it a little bewildering that he managed to set up a dinner meeting between the editor-in-chief and the writer just so that he could have some exquisite food paid by someone else, lol. Happy birthday to Hime-chan by the way. Sharp contrast between the 11th and the 18th, and it honestly shatters my heart. Next episode, we'll be seeing the knots in the future tying up now finally. God, I don't know if I'm ready. But let's go! |

| Seems like next week will be a full current day episode. There's not much left to get with the past. I think Ami was the one who gave Hime the key. She has yet to be present in the current day scenes, and everyone else on Kakushi's staff has been. Considering she is pretty important to the anime I think it's Ami who gave her the Key. I guess the Wife had a sister? I am not a fan of hearing "Secret Love child" during that episode 12 preview. Next week...last episode let's hope for a happy ending. |

| The future scene for this week seems to be an obvious prequel to the future scene from the first episode. The key she got was the key to her old home. Seems my theory about her being taken in by her gramps wasn't true, considering the apartment she seemed to be living in. I'm really afraid for next episode. I feel like it's gonna be almost completely future scenes, to wrap up the mystery. God, it sucks to see her eyes just so devoid of any life. dlxuniuniu said: We have here clearly the best editor. | Great episode, it was really fun, especially the scene with the well xD and Hime's birthday party was good. I just can't wait for episode 12 to discover what happen to Goto, I just hope he's fine but that's too weird, poor Hime :( |

| Kakushi is so kind inviting Tomaruin to the birthday of his daughter despite getting often into troubles thanks to him. Very happy that at least his manga is not going to be cancelled (even if that means a drop in quality). With only one episode left, I wonder how the series is going to tie everything, especially for the lines in the preview, that indicate that a very big twist is going to happen. The manga ends in July, so I guess they are going for an anime-original ending (or, less likely, maybe they are going to make an OVA adapting the ending of the series later). I hope for a satisfying conclusion either way. |

| Sweet birthday parties, it was good to see Gotou keeping his promise. Next week we're finally going to learn the truth. I hope for a satisfying conclusion, but tearjerker ending my ass, with all the foreshadowing and teasing I'm afraid that it will prove to be underwhelming. |

| yoooo that last half was fukin heartbreaking, especially with how empty Gotou felt about potentially being unemployed. And yep, the bills do indeed confirm that the wife was involved in that accident that was reported. Although I don't recall any mention of her being dead per se so I'm just gonna believe that she's still alive and will come back at the end of the series :P the final ep previews are interesting though. Sounds like we got an Uchiyama kouki voiced chara who's supposedly Hime's brother? Hime is a secret love child? nani? |

| Today I turned 18, dad ... This is how I would like to start my comment this week about Kakushigoto. Fun and very confusing episode, with Tomaruin causing others to get confused and Kakushi and company. thinking about "the end" of his manga. And we continue with skiptime ... Well, this is something we had long awaited, Hime is and always will be the princess of Kakushi and that is why she is concerned about something happening to her. Another week and now, we are closer than ever to reveal all the secrets that this fun and sweet series has waiting for us. |
| I wish people didn't parrot "one ep. left", "last ep next week", etc. every fricken time a show is about to end. We know already, don't rub it, FFS! So, Hime celebrated her 11th birthday in the 11th episode... can we go on till her 18th birthday in the 18th episode, please? :P She seems to be living alone in the "present", probably because of college... I hope they don't do a full-length recap of the previous present scenes... Make it quick, OK? P.S. somebody, send Tomaruin on a long trip! |
| Goddamned, that cliffhanger, tho. My fucking curiosity gone into some next level here. Once again, i get a whole new thing about a life of mangaka, i don't usually know until now. The last chapter really can make a great manga? I don't know that! Always funny looking the misunderstanding between Gotou and his surrounding. Its just made me laugh every scenes they talked. And, that Tomaruin, always do his usual ruination. Ah, the birthday party really nice too. Such a fun events to past. Unfortunately, it just happened in a short time, i guess.... The past story really great. I just forgot how this story actually served as a memorable moments for Hime. Poor her. And they served with a nice comedy, i ever seen. Thanks to Gotou VA's with his good comedical sounds expression. Its very well done! So, lets see how this show proves the end. So much mystery, i liked it. But, not with this show. Since it had so many sad mystery. Poor me :( |

Another Great Episode of Kakushigoto. (5/5) Happy Birthday, Hime-chan This this episode was pretty fun but the second half was really good building up for a final episode. I'm hype and now preparing some tissue for a final episode next week. |

| Not including sequels, this is my Anime of the Season. There are other ones I'm enjoying but Kakushigoto is the one I look forward to the most each week. It's so wholesome and cute. Plus Hiroshi Kamiya is always great to listen to. I will say that I am so pleased that I spoiled myself for this series. I usually avoid spoilers but this has been much more enjoyable knowing what's coming. So for me, it joins the very short list of anime that are better watched with spoilers. That said, they've got a lot to wrap up in the last episode. I hope they do it justice. |

| I usually find Tomaruin hilarious but this episode I wanted to kill him! That ending... the mystery deepens! The next episode preview has got my brain working overtime too... what is the secret?! I'm so curious but I'm also kinda scared to find out. I can't believe next week is the last episode. I really hope there will be a season 2! |

| Did anyone else notice that the bill was for boat rental and diver fees? I sort of think that Goto-sensei has been funding some sort of search for his wife - whether it's to find out why she disappeared or to find her body. Any other reasons why you think he would have that type of bill? |

| The secrets are unveiling now and I'm so excited for the next episode as it seems like we have surpassed the flashbacks bit and will now mainly be focusing on the current events. If you've noticed, Kakushi had boat rental fees and diver fees, I wonder what those are for. He might've been plotting something behind the scenes. |

| It was adorable seeing Hime celebrating her birthday. But then we of course transitioned to the present-day scenes and the feels came back. The preview seemed to hint that we'll get some interesting developments in the finale so I'm excited for that. |

| Another wholesome and sweet episode, with I think a little less comedy today. Not that it was a bad move! Just different. Did that present-day scene take place BEFORE all the other present-day scenes? As in, did we go back in time to when she first went to their old house? That contrast between Hime celebrating her 11th birthday smiling with her father and her celebrating her 18th birthday alone in a small apartment was really sad... Next time it's the last episode. I wonder what's been going on. They have been giving us small pieces but nothing that can give us the bigger picture of the puzzle yet. I hope this series ends with a bang! Looking forward (or not because it's ending T_T) to next week. |

| My guess is that Goto didn’t die but left Hime alone for some important reason, and it ended up being a lot longer than he intended. That key and map is likely from Goto and will be part of his explanation for why he left, since Hime still seems out of the loop. Final episode next week, let’s see how it ends and if my prediction is close! |
| Probably the most bland episode of the series. Sorry but comedy regarding misunderstandings isn't really my thing since I tend to get frustrated and unfortunately, this episode based its whole premise on them. Seeing Hime celebrating her birthday was still quite lovely tho. So, I guess next episode will be situated in the present but considering how random and absurd those lines in the preview sounded, I can't help but think we're gonna get trolled in some way or another. Anyways, we'll see. |
| How will they wrap things up though? I don't think the manga has enough material for a second season, but at the same time, this 11th episode had content from the 70 chapter and 80-something, will they just wrap things up with episode 12 since the manga ending was already announced for next month? |

| Goto was out in the snow with bare legs and nothing on his feet but a pair of flip-flops. Well if he is dead, I think I've figured out why. Okay, in all seriousness, I love every character in this show, even the ones I hate, and I'm gonna be sad to see it go next week. This is, by far, the best anime of the season, possibly of the year, depending on how future seasons go. |
