I just wanted to know, so I'd read the manga rather than watching the anime and then realizing it's missing quite a lot of the story there.

Nope. Leaves the story hanging. I'd still recommend watching it if you enjoy 90s rock.

This reminds me I should finish reading Beck. Was sad to know Tokyopop never finished it and now it is probably too expensive for me to read the physical copies T,T

According to https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=49 , the anime adapts 11 out of 34 volumes. Apparently the entire manga has been scanlated.

Everything that connects to MAL

Contains Ecchi, but not Tagged Ecchi: Part 1 || Part 2 || Part 3

The Beck anime is unfortunately an incomplete adaptation. It has an ok to even good stopping point (depending on how you look at it) but it's unfortunate that the team from Madhouse never returned to adapt more (like a lot of manga adaptations from Madhouse).

However, I would still recommend watching the anime regardless, it's still a good time, and if you like Rage Against the Machine, then you'll be all over the anime.

It feels like it could be, but no it's only about 1/3 of the manga.

FWI: The manga is available in English in eBook format from Kindle/ComiXology (Free if you have Prime)

Kodansha released a bundle through Humble Bundle that includes the whole manga of Beck, plus a lot more volumes, all of them complete series. For only 25 bucks.

It's limited time and I don't know if it's too late to telling you this, maybe yo already read it, but if anyone is interested in this, I think it's totally worth it. Plus, you don't need to be a pirate to read not only this one but a lot of mangas as well.
