| What the fuck was that? I was expecting a little bit of forced humor here and there after experiencing Standard, but this was so over the top cheesy. That was really bad... Virtual fish avatar in a giant robe and crown scene aside, what was up with that battle to protect the PM? Motoko tossing down force fields? Togusa performing Kung-Fu and acting like Bruce Lee? Cringe. Also, what's with the nudity in this show? The first post-human battle was somewhat ruined because of the absurdity of seeing that awkward looking cartoony CG character doing acrobatics naked. Then they follow that up with Purin undressing the fat guy and we have to watch her interrogate him while he's in his underwear looking pathetic. I don't get it. Hey, we're going to follow up a scene where someone was lynched by a faceless mob with a scene of some fat guy in his underwear cowering in front of tiny girl with pink hair. |

| Is this meant to be a analogue for 4chan? I mean it's called Think Pol (as in /pol/) and that guy is a fish frog thing like Pepe. It's like the Shia Labeouf thing except more sinister. |

| Purin in this ep drives me insane. I hate that she's just able to get away with doing this shit as if she's part of Kusanagi's team and from this point on she's just treated as though she is. I hate that she flails around like a child and doesn't fit the tone of the show at all. She's a goddamn techie, not a field agent. I have the same issue with Ishikawa in this series, he's all part of the main field squad like??? You're the computer guy, what are you doing? |

| I'm fine with the Purin character, she's like a Tachikoma in human form and it's about time someone spotted how awesome Batou is. But the weird battle scene at the end was pretty poor and I cringed hard when Togusa did his little kung fu impression. Completely random and unnecessary. |

| Both of Major’s entrances were badass. I really think they did a tremendous job with the CGI. Stopping myself from bingeing it. The concept of getting your cyberbrain fried is just insane. Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 and vibes are so similar. |
