and i take issue with a scientist character acting more like a flat earther then someone who has even remotely heard of the scientific method. He doesn't observe the events of the story and develops a realistic explanation for it . he just already has an idea ( aka the earth is flat ) and shoves every new piece of information around that . even though a lot of information in the manga directly contradicts what he wants to be true .
and the worst part is that all the characters just pretend like he is smart.

In his eyes they just do that all the time . and when asked to provide an example of any shape or form he is unable to do so .
