| I was cheated by the previous episode, the series is still drowning itself. Ridiculous, this urge to suddenly bring the mother under the spotlight this late and the parts lending, when they should be owned by creatures/yòkai/mononoke since the beginning. Only to allow for those secondary characters to die only once not human anymore? We already saw Hyakkimaru slaughter innocent men before, this was no problem. 2/5 Liked that Hyakkimaru uses the same stubborn vocabulary about both his body and Dororo. Too bad it wasn't reflected in the french fansub. |

| i just realized that losing one's mom is a very prominent theme in this anime like really prominent man when the whole gang showed up with hyakkimaru's body parts ya'll best know i was ready to throw some hands right then and there that ain't right |

| Wow haha Hyakki on that flame horse! This has been really intense so far and I've really enjoyed these past couple of episodes. Crazy things are about to happen with the brothers fight. Good to see Dororo and Hyakki's mum safe. |
| Most likely not the case but for some reason I got the feeling more soldiers have been hurt by stopping and angering Hyakkimaru to the point that he becomes a demon than what would have happened if they just let him have his way. Really wish Tahomaru faced Hyakkimaru 1-on-1 instead of a dirty 3-on-1 and also not tried to demonize him since he initially showed sympathy. Pretty dirty they are going to use his own body parts (arms and eyes) against him. |

| Hyak's mom is having a change of heart. It's sweet to see her with Dororo. Since she prays to an actual goddess, and not the demons, if seems that she'll help bring prosperity to the land. It seems like Daigo is actively ruining the land. |

| @Rei_III why wouldn't she be in the spotlight. It was shown that she was one of the few people who prayed to an actual goddess, and not a demon. Even the people credit the prosperity of the land to her, and not the dad. The mother praying to the goddess of mercy is the reason that Hyakkimaru is alive. Remember, she prayed to the goddess of mercy, and the goddess of mercy gave up her head for Hyakkimaru. She's also likely going to play a role in the revival of the land, but in a legit way. |
