| Good question. I only started reading the LN last week, but when I read FUNA-sensei's announcement of the anime, I was like "Finally! A decent isekai with a female lead!" I think it's got the potential to appeal to both those looking for a SOL/adventure and also fans of moe characters, so I would expect it to be pretty popular when we start to hear more about it, broadcast date is set, etc. I hope, anyway! ...And I hope that the chara design is closer to Akata's from the LN than Nekomint's from the manga. But, that's just me. |

| Honestly, judging by the synopsis, this sounds like your average, unispired isekai series with no creative elements, but yet another op mc. The only slight spin seems to be that the protagonist is female, but even that (at least not if thats the only element that differs from the typical isekai formula) won't save this show. PS.: I don't get at all why you guys make such big deal out of the simple fact that the mc is female. For example saying things like "finally a isekai show with a female protagonist" ...wtf? |

And as long as people dont say such thing because of dumm feminist reasons, but rather because of things like them liking the themes (>friendship) or something of the sort I too have absolutely no problem with that. |

| I started reading the light novel on a whim, and fell in love with it. When I found out it was getting an anime adaptation, I was so hyped. While waiting for book 5 to come out, I started reading Arifureta. I instantly fell in love with that series to, so when I saw it to was getting an anime adaptation (especially when I just finished getting caught up with the books) I was ecstatic. Now that Arifureta is out, I'm sad to say, at least so far (I still have hopes for it), I'm a bit disappointed with it. I'm just saying I hope this doesn't disappoint as well. |

| @XanderFenikkusu I am not interested in a harem and avoid seeing them, if I just want a fantasy series, I should not be forced to watch a harem that is even worse boring and bad that average. all the Isekais that I have read and the only ones who avoid the cliche of the harem are the Isekai's with a female protagonist who do not possess a harem of men or women. |

| Hopefully this will turn out better than the last 2 adaptations I watched after reading the novels first. Shield Hero wasn't too bad, but felt a little rushed. Arifureta's first episode killed it for me though. Hoping this turns out better than those two, although the source material isn't as good so my hopes aren't high. |
