That was more pathetic than I thought it was going to be.

First there's this bullshit attempt at absolving everyone of responsibility. Sorry, no. Being under orders and committing a crime doesn't absolve you of responsibility, least of all when you do not object or even support said crime. There's a reason countries that have committed serious crimes got collectively punished.

Second, fuck off with half-assed attempt at forgiveness. There's zero convincing reasons to forgive him and a dozen obvious reasons to not only hate, but straight up execute him. That pathetic attempt at redemption and karma was a laugh and ridiculously shoehorned.

The dialogue and interactions between Livius and Nike, which were once charming, are now simply irritating. No one has changed, the same regressive bullshit continues to drag on. Anger not using logical justification vs emotion with no possible logical justification is now the summary of their relationship and interactions. Frankly, this couple is a toxic one, that is good for neither of them. Nike is a shit queen, a shit wife, and a naive child. Livius is now a dumbass, once good, king, and a weak husband, and a useless person with no sense of conviction or sensibility. Instead of bringing out the best in each, they bring out the worst. Instead of checking each others flaws, they reinforce their own. Livius is now a worse king, and Nike is just a bother.

This manga is a joke, it's committed suicide in the most pathetic way possible, and now I can only hope for it to end as quickly as possible and stop mutilating a once good manga.

BTW Nike is not queen nor wife. Livy is still not of age. The mangaka has said that will happen after Twilight Kingdom which starts in Chapter 126. She is presently engaged to marry Livy. The engagement ring which was Sheila's was taken from her when she was captured and she went to Nephro's room to retrieve it knowing what it meant to Livy.
