That was more pathetic than I thought it was going to be.

First there's this bullshit attempt at absolving everyone of responsibility. Sorry, no. Being under orders and committing a crime doesn't absolve you of responsibility, least of all when you do not object or even support said crime. There's a reason countries that have committed serious crimes got collectively punished.

Second, fuck off with half-assed attempt at forgiveness. There's zero convincing reasons to forgive him and a dozen obvious reasons to not only hate, but straight up execute him. That pathetic attempt at redemption and karma was a laugh and ridiculously shoehorned.

The dialogue and interactions between Livius and Nike, which were once charming, are now simply irritating. No one has changed, the same regressive bullshit continues to drag on. Anger not using logical justification vs emotion with no possible logical justification is now the summary of their relationship and interactions. Frankly, this couple is a toxic one, that is good for neither of them. Nike is a shit queen, a shit wife, and a naive child. Livius is now a dumbass, once good, king, and a weak husband, and a useless person with no sense of conviction or sensibility. Instead of bringing out the best in each, they bring out the worst. Instead of checking each others flaws, they reinforce their own. Livius is now a worse king, and Nike is just a bother.

This manga is a joke, it's committed suicide in the most pathetic way possible, and now I can only hope for it to end as quickly as possible and stop mutilating a once good manga.

** I just started reading/watching this series one day ago. I loved the relationship with Vivian and Nike until chapter 20 but even though I’m not as experienced as you. I wish there was more time with just Vivian and Nike like before, and I feel the manga is failing with a bunch of horny guys. For example does Nike like the guy that almost raped her or not! It is confusing! Reading 100 chapters in almost a whole day slowly became annoying as I was wishing for special moments with Vivian and Nike but it’s getting annoying. ( Sadly this is my first comedy/action/romance manga)

Yeah....this chapter got me very confused. I'm fine with forgiveness and seeing things from other people's perspectives but this guy raped you....stole you from your husband....promised to use you like a tool....

Like is this stockholm syndrome? I have no clue where this manga is going lol. Then there's a dragon flying in the sky...?!?!?!...what?!

Nike has turned into such a fucking pathetic character. Livi deserves better than someone as weak willed as her. There's a limit to forgiveness before it becomes straight up STUPIDITY and contrivance

Lets see Nike completely destroys the duchy. The rapist is now a blind quadriplegic. The dragon that was sealed in the tower that the Livy's enemy wanted to use against him was freed by Nike and left happily without doing any damage. Livy's part in the whole arc was breaking her out of her trance. And you guys are worried about whether the most powerful person in the world forgives someone who saves Livy
BTW Nike is not queen nor wife. Livy is still not of age. The mangaka has said that will happen after Twilight Kingdom which starts in Chapter 126. She is presently engaged to marry Livy. The engagement ring which was Sheila's was taken from her when she was captured and she went to Nephro's room to retrieve it knowing what it meant to Livy.

Saved them? HE CAUSED THE SITUATION FROM WHICH HE SAVED THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! He doesn't get credit for anything when he's the CAUSE of the entire mess to start with.

I saw the raw years ago but man i would lie if what i read wasnt stupid.
Now I begin to understand the complaints from those japanese fans and how it is becoming less and less popular in the japan.

I read two historical/romantic manga this and Yona of the dawn.
The first one lost the right path in this last years and i think that the author is lengthening the story more than he should, the second even having the same years of serialization is still well appreciated among the fans.
Its not a series to which I am personally bound but I am sorry for the others who must suffer for this "storytelling" choice.
Unfortunately I think that this push and pull with the main characters doesnt help the manga.

I really like this manga but this arc was facking pathetic Nikki should have learned something from that desert rat trying to snatch her but nope.
IAM sick of these shoujo with horny pretty boys forcing themselves on the female mc and the female mc actually not minding and forgiving wtfffff and Livi the facking emperor is getting cucked her and there.
Pathetic I dropped this shit with the raws but after a year IAM angry again. That how much I was disappointed
