Oh damn... How lucky you have got, Mr.Junichi. You shouldn't ask for more. Just imagination, and not real date. I KNEW IT!!! I shouldn't watch it at night.>_<
And the second part, about a runner that demand "paradise" so he can freely. Even so, it have a similarity with the first part. The "Someone that Moguro's Client like" that is. LOL

This keeps getting better and better, yet the score is so low.

Also, it's just me or the first story it's based on the Kuchisake-onna legend?

Only one person got the BOOM! this week but I really enjoyed the second story about the runner. The first story was kinda weird the way it ended but I get the point. This show seems to be repeating some of the themes or lessons which isn't a good sign since it's only the 4th episode but I look forward to seeing what this anime has in store for us next time

One of the reasons is people failing to leave their empathy at the door and feeling bad for the customers. And then the same people watch series where the jerk is a kawaii uguu girl instead of a rotund creep and they go "omfg lol thats funny 9/10"

Another reason is showing old Shouwa-era social dynamics that not necessarily represent Japan as of today.

Yeah pretty much.

These double standards are dumb, and I'm sure if this was some kind of monster girl salesman with huge tits (underage probably too), there would be more fanboy losers giving it a higher praise and defend it like there's no tomorrow. But nah, it's some creepy fat guy with a briefcase therefore this show is not so good and a bit creepy.

Anyway, I liked this episode. The first half was a bit surprising at the end but I chuckled nonetheless. The second half was just another case of some guy not listening to Moguro, it was alright though.

Wasnt Moguro the one who actually pushed the first guy? Like the first guy didn't even want his help yet Moguro still insisted on helping him. At no point he said Yes help me. So that punishment so called at the end where he saw her real face is not really justifiable. I mean i really don't understand whats wrong with the first guy? he is less scummy as a person than others in other episodes, what's wrong with falling in love with a beautiful girl. Yes appearances are deceiving i know that, but still...

Second guy is just a dumbass... There's no way that last part was realistic. There aren't THAT MANY people running lol. There were like 100 there in one street.
DOes anyone know what happened to second guy btw? it wasn't quite clear.

That actually would be the other end of the stick, if given that situation, us who are here watching wouldn't even give it an opportunity.

Firstly, can I just say that even after seeing about 15 different OP's for this season, Warau Salesman New still has the best one out of this season. It's just so damn smooth and catchy

I like how this episode showcased two people who were actually skeptical of Moguro to begin with, but then Moguro persisted and kinda forced them into it. At this point, I almost think that Moguro just takes pleasure in fucking over as many people as possible. You could maybe go as far as to argue that he uses those morals that he always says at the end as a way to justify his habit under a twisted sort of vigilante justice... (I'm probably way overthinking this, but it's fun to theorize)

I can definitely agree that if Moguro was replaced with some cutesy anime girl, then people would probably hold the show in a better light (They just don't realize that Moguro is best grill. He's just so T H I C C /s)

The build up for the first part was so good but then it ended like something from Yamizukan. I would have liked a more thoughtful twist.

The story in the first half was fucking horrifying!!
“I love heroes, but I don't want to be one. Do you even know what a hero is!? For example, you have some meat. Pirates will feast on the meat, but the hero will distribute it among the people! I want to eat the meat!” - Monkey D. Luffy

Episode uses same themes... but many of you people may not know this, but the first half is actually a retell of an episode from the older series which is very nice if anybody were able to catch it.

1st part was fucking creepy/scary.
2nd part was another one of his victims that didn't follow/keep it a secret...
4/5.

Could always paper bag her face and print his waifu on it. Her voice would bother me more than her looks.

Last episode I watched was the 9th Warau Salesman. I restart NEW after the pause and get to watch the same chapter animated... bad coincidence.
Same critic as with the older adaptation: we should not be shown her face at the end because the representation makes it ridiculous.

The second part was just... too magical. And modern (internet "social network" websites? -_-)

3/5 + 2/5 = 2.5+/5

First one was similar to Kuchisake-onna. Decent concept in itself but seems just a touch out of place in a show like this given the not too serious feel and lack of real horror.

Second one was just boring and predictable. Well they were both rather predictable and not all that entertaining, but this one more so.

I think I've had my fill of this show at this point. To the dropped list it goes.

Finished watching episode 4. Part 1 was indeed a remake, this time of episode 9 in the original series, further proving that they are picking the episodes to remake pretty much randomly lol.

-there is a funny mini-scene in the beginning of the original where the victim low blows a guy who pushed the women aside. it isnt in the remake.

-in the original she simply bumps into him on the train because it was taking a stiff turn, which is far more believable and realistic. in the remake they used the cliche "accidental face plant in boobs" trope, which is stupid. the original did the scene much better.

-i realized that, surprisingly, neither the original episode nor the remake one had a "Finger Of DOOM" Moment, which really surprised me. i completely forgot that there was any episode that didnt have it.

-In the original,he actually tries to talk to her after the night train, but doesnt get the courage and simply walks behind her for awhile, which leads to her calling the cops on him. this scene is absent from the remake, which is very annoying for two major reasons:
1: It was funny
2:It explained why she avoided talking with him the next day at the train. in the remake, there was no reason for her to avoid talking to him.

-her breathing was far more Darth Vader esque in the original, which was obviously a hint. in the remake, they made her talk in a weird robotic way instead, which didnt make sense to me.

-one thing i was never sure of in either version is whether the original train woman was the same one the LS sent to the victim. i doubt it,but i am not sure.

-Minor differences include his age(23 original,26 remake),her age(21 original,28 remake),where the victim and the LS meet for the second time(LS was standing as one of the customers in the original, while he was waiting for him in the visitor room in the remake)and the last time(Hiding from rain at night in the original, day time sunny street in the remake).

I am surprised that they cut scenes tbh,and that is the primary reason why the original episode was far superior this time.
So far original is winning 2-0,let us see if this streak will continue in the future ;)

as for part 2:
-I REALLY dont like the drawing of the victim's face. it doesnt fit the style of the series and all the other people at all. it stuck out like a sore thumb.

-it was funny to see the LS running though XD

-we didnt get what happened after he "DOOM Fingered"him. normally there is a scene that clearly shows what happens to the victim. here all we saw was a couple of seconds of him calling for the girl. does that mean he will search for her forever and not find her or something?what happens to the victim is pretty much the payoff of each episode, what the episode is building up to. i really dont get why they didnt give us any payoff this episode :/

The first half was mediocre. It had a good aim but was too forced.

Second half was great. "If everyone is super, no one will be.". He could have enjoyed paradise all by himself but he felt compelled to enjoy it with someone else since running with a partner can make for a better experience. And so the value was lost.

Overall this episode was good. Best one so far.
