If Kissanime doesn't have it by now, try using dubbedanime.com for the english subs. This OVA was beautiful and stuffed full of foreshadowing for Season 2 and Bonds of Ice. I don't know why there were other people posting about how the animation was bad or that it was not worth watching in cinemas, the animation was amazing!

The story was simple but sweet, it set up a lot of subtle plot points for following seasons and gave us soooo many unexpected character interactions, behaviour, dialogue etc. So worth the long wait for the BD release, and I'm giddy with excitement for Season 2. It's gonna blow everybody's socks off.

Apparently the eng sub that's put isn't very good so I'm gonna wait a bit longer from a better quality one.

I thought it was perfectly fine, couldn't really see any issues with it? I don't know maybe some subtle japanese phrases weren't translated properly but from what I could tell it didn't seem to me that anything was off.

I just finished watching it, and... It was overall fine, but I will need to rewatch IMO, the "important" stuff of the Re:zero plot was pretty hard to understand with that sub, the wholesome parts didn't really get affected tho.

In most cases, the MAL Average Scores don't mean anything, here is a question: were the works made before 2000 all shit?
Why are they so damn scarce in the Top 50? Think about how MAL is quite literally a filtered amount of the Anime fanbase.

Here's a timeline of the Top 15 in which you can check that, almost always, the scores are affected by the freshness, popularity and other factors that have nothing to do with quality.

The issue with current eng sub that was translated from a Spanish sub and has quite a lot mistraslations. It's definitely watchable overall but not a very high-quality sub.

Yes, the current subs are very very poor. Riddled with mistranslations, and it's not small nuance mistakes either. There's your typical bunch of that, but also the subber mishears a lot of words, and some sentences in the translation are just invented because the subber had no clue what the character said.

It's watchable, but if someone subs it properly, you'll see how many mistranslations there are in it.

Yeah, whenever there was a long dialogue, it became pretty ugly.
