Glorious finish (bear pubes, lol), I like how this episode generally captures Ekoda, while kind of looping back to episode 1.

As a collab project this was easily as interesting as Space Dandy.

its a shame that MAL wont recognise ep 11 as an episode or even as an extra. i skipped the interview parts of the series but, wow. i wish more anime did stuff like this by changing the style (if it suits the medium)

This one had the strange vibe of coming back down from the psychedelia that preceded it. Fitting for the finale. Very cool series - I don't see why they couldn't do another 12 some day. There's plenty of material, voice actors and directors still left. Plus we still need to get some female perspective director-wise.

I knew Morimoto wouldn't disappoint and yet I had troubles accepting the very limited animation (is it some way to express how restrained he felt during the production?).
Like the actress, I loved the "Pubis!" scene.

Enjoyment: 3/5

It's hard to write something general about an anthology... The variety of techniques, styles, ideas played a big part in making this series interesting, obviously, but I think the nature of the original manga played a role too (praying for a fr/de/en publisher buying it).
The interviews were a big "+".
Overall: 7/10

@EratiK You should have included a poll to vote for an episode among the 12.

@bastek66 It was made by filming puppets (with integrated elements) on a wall. No animation, no MAL.

I like experimental and short-form anime, but I don't understand the decision to have 3 minutes worth of the actual episode and then roughly 20 minutes of interview for the rest. They at least could've done half and half. If I were the mangaka, I'd honestly be a little disappointed with the format.

And yeah, could've used a few female directors too.

A bear in her pubes? Like she shaved it into a bear shape? I think we need a better look.

So I guess showing off to the peeper ties back to the tv bit she was watching about bringing happiness to others. Better than flowers and idolshit, that's for sure.

I absolutely needed Morimoto animating that "nya nya nya" dancing sequence in my day xD Now wishing for an anime anthology/manga adaptation with female-only directors
