| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Cool episode. Seeing Shirogane dressed in that circus outfit reminds me of how she is like when first showing up in the anime. Decent amount of action this episode but also had some more lighthearted moments like with the children and song. Quite frankly, I think the episode delivered a balanced tone of storytelling. |

| Eleonore should have pretended to be Francine and control those 3 automatons to rebel against faceless. At least, it seems that she's putting Pantalone through a test. Too bad that Pantalone might not be able to come back nor not kill any human like Eleonore asked him too. lol poor Liang dressing like that out of gambles. Good thing she went full Kaiji and defeated that big guy with a single punch... One Punch Woman? lol |

| The gambling part was boring but I liked how it ended, she "cheated", well, I'm sure he cheated too, it's not possible to win every single time like that. |

| Still trying to drag out this farce? Bummer. All filler and no substance...for now, that is. The quest to find "Harry" gets more interesting but with the pacing now, the high-tier point is nowhere to be seen. Ashihana and George's kidsong segment was a cool break, but not even them can evade the automata's fight. |

| Cool episode, one of the few appreciative slower episode of the series! Ashihana v Pantalone and George v Advanced George is pretty well set-up thanks to the second half of the episode. Pretty cool touch for Ashihana to receive some growth and try to defeat his scaredy-cat side, but realistically speaking it could well be his downfall. I wonder if Eleonore’s comment on her not forgiving Pantalone if he hurts any human being will provide Ashihana an opnening during a decisive moment. On the other hand, death flags all over for George with him asking for the cigarettes and promising to utter his final words with his lost dream and whatnot. I’m assuming he wanted to be a junior/kindergarten teacher or something of the sort given his expression when the kids were praising for his astonishing piano skills, but I’m curious to know what exactly it is nevertheless. Meanwhile, Ming-Xia somehow managed to trick that automaton and take him down in a very tense moment. Pretty cool stuff, some nice buildup to it too with the little backstory and all. Tom’s, or rather Narumi’s words, really snapped her back to reality. And then damn, Narumi’s dead expression when watching the kids in agony again. All in all, a really good episode. It would’ve been much better had Eleonore just pretended to be Francine and cause a rebellion but that hoenstlwnouodnt have much of an effect now, so I’m looking forward to something of this sort sometime later down the line. Looking forward to seeing Masaru’s side of things too, I can sense a reunion coming! |
