| with what everyone was saying about kaban not being able to come back and all the new director stuff i was really under the impression that this season was gonna be pretty chill on the lore stuff and be more of a normal happy kids show so its safe to say my jaw actually dropped at the end ITS HER ISNT IT? ITS TOTALLY HER :o |
| Great episode not just so far but I liked it a lot, it had that old KF S1 charm, and then... it happened out of nowhere... That plane gave me goosebumps too. |

| Gorilla felt like a repeat of Lion from season 1. The whole thing about humans controlling animals brings to mind all the animals that get trained for entertainment, to varying amounts of controversy. There's the orcas at Seaworld (and Dolphin and Sea Lion a couple of episodes earlier), and there are shows with Crocodiles at some parks. Looking a bit wider, there are horses for hauling goods, and dogs employed in hunting or drug detection for their superior sense of smell. Gotta agree, that performance by Kyururu, Serval and Caracal is more creepy than scary when you look at it. o.o" Closer to the end, they vaguely look like a bunch of gamers playing with those paper cutouts on the cardboard box. Maybe a bit like Pokemon for a pre-electronics age. I found Serval's reaction a bit more interesting than the fire-paper-plane itself. Finally, Kaban... The hat, feathers, gloves, stockings, clothes (new outer 'jacket' though), bag, and Lucky Beast on her wrist; that must be Kaban. |

| The base plot of this episode is a close copy of the lion-moose episode in season 1, even the part of gorilla looking though in front of her subordinates and being a relaxed character as soon as they were gone. I'm surprised at how much Studio Thomason likes copypaste. I'm happy to see kaban*, I'm praying that she doesn't have brain damage like serval had this season. If she stays with the group, maybe we can see a plot develop, if not.... then maybe her appearance is used to validate the new characters, bury old open plotlines and then go away on a journey or stay behind to never be seen again. How long has she been gone? And it would be cool if she brought a boy back with her, but seeing as every character is female, it's unlikely. |

| Didn't expect for Kaban to actually appear, so this is a direct sequel. I wonder what's the connection between Mirai a Kyururu since Kyururu has Mirai's equipments (her bag and hat with two feathers) I would love to hear some explanation hopefully Laban fills us in |

| I wonder how they're going to explain why Kaban and Serval were separated after the end of season 1. Not a fan of Kaban's new design, but it's still great to see her. I didn't think we would. |

I'm not so sure of that, I believe the controversy was at least big enough that kadokawa had to resort to censoring twitter, and then the voice actress shield incident, and then if you watch niconico polls on chapters this season you'll see they didn't start very happy... Outside of the controversy, I hope that they change studio for season 3 or other works, because studio tomason storytelling is very basic. |
| Well, the development is really welcomed! My main issue with it is how late it was introduced. The original anime got very interesting by the third episode. But this one, it took 5 eps. And only until like the last 3 minutes. And with very little foreshadowing till then, it almost makes one think that the first 4 episodes were filler in nature. Well, hopefully it becomes more interesting. The increase in potential just got incredibly more pronounced. I just hope it keeps getting better and better, with Kaban in the picture, and the Friends becoming pseudo-Cerulean entities somehow. Also, lovely reaction from Serval when she first saw the burning plane then Kaban. |

The music changed as they entered the jungle, lending a bit more weight to the idea that there was another human to be found there, although I didn't think they'd actually find one. I thought it more likely that a human was only there years ago, like the humans last being seen near the sea in season 1, because they were leaving. Serval's reaction... kindof reminds me of Serval's reaction to seeing another Serval (or maybe herself) next to Mirai in the projected video log. |

| Thanks for clearing that up. So she's really back. :) Actually, I don't care much about the Kadokawa incident. The only thing that got me angered is the lack Kaban in the storyline when s2 started. Now that she's back, let's get rolling. Score increased from 5 to 8. |
| Horrible episode, almost like a retold Lion episode from S1. Dialog is still terrible as in Serval wondering if the Friends are humans when they are clearly not. Still, final shot of Kaban (?) is really pretty. Edit: people really are easy to deceive, huh? Don't let this final scene take you away from the fact that every episode so far was bad (including this one) |
