Why even a recap episode? The shows only 12 episodes long and not too much development over all. |

I don't get what's the point of this. And recap usually happens in after Ep 6 (6.5) so why 10(.5)? |

Honestly not sure how much a recap episode is necessary, I was hoping for something a little exciting, despairful to set us up for season 2... Maybe they'll leave it a major cliff hanger on episode 12 for the next season... Maybe. |

Understandable in that circumstance then, not really knowledgeable on the continuity of Goblin Slayer. Thanks for the clarification. |

They probably knew that they will not finish ep 12 in time so they made recap instead to give production staff extra week to complete last episode. Recaps are a lot easier and faster so they did not waste much time. |

Ah yes, recap episodes for shows without plot. Absolutely necessary. |

Who doesn't like the idea of seeing goblins gettin curb stomped (again)?... Recaps are essential for emphasizing the awesomeness of the Goblin Slayer. One cannot have enough Goblin Slayer in their life....ever! |

I haven't watched this anime but recaps usually happen to give the people more time to work on the important finale episodes. |

I know I sound really stupid for asking this but will this take the place of this week's episode? Or will we get both? |

Funny what are they going to recap? The dead of the episode 1 goblin or the dead of another goblin in episode 8? |

Yea, there isn't much plot in this series. I'm expecting it to be over after the M*** Shield Arc.[/quote] True, but that's what makes the series different in my eyes. While most Fantasy Series sees the protagonist and his gang of friends and allies taking on the Big Bad of that story's World, it's refreshing to see what something simple compared to that (the Demon King storyline which should be a big deal is just going on in the background and is only mentioned in passing, barely effecting the story). I guess that's just all the more reason this Recap has no purpose (Maybe to make the animation studio/TV Network more money?) |

So... a recap... for who? Or does it count as episode 11 or is it because they knew they couldn't finish it in 12 weeks? |

I guess episode 11 and 12 are going to be high budget, which is why they made a recap as people can just watch 10.5, 11 and 12 |

Damn, why so many people are so oblivious to the fact that whitefox simply had a low budget & rushed scheduling for this show so they even ended up needing more time to complete the production of the last eps? No shit this series gets lots of hate if people are like this |

Pensak said: Why even a recap episode? The shows only 12 episodes long and not too much development over all. I don't like recap episodes in general, but here it completely makes sense and I'm not saying it because I like this anime. We are right before grand finale of this season. The creators surely want to make final episodes an much polished and completed as it is possible, so I suggest not being so mad about the fact we won't see brand new episode next week, but get recap instead. What would you like, not getting any episode at all or get an extra filler episode that hypothetically could be a reason behind worse than expected quality of the finale? |

... okay just one question why does a series that only have 12 eps needs a recap episode -- since the only thing that is going on is slaying goblins anyways just like the title says = it just doesnt make sense . And why now of all times before for my opinion the best showdown battle goes down. SILLY TIMING AND IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE AT ALL: JUST A WASTE OF TIME |

Apslup said: I know I sound really stupid for asking this but will this take the place of this week's episode? Or will we get both? Recap usually means the staff is behind schedule and there needs to be something airing instead of that episode that was supposed to be aired. Very rarely there is recap because there needs to be one from the content point. So probably no regular episode this week. |
You all need to watch Nami. |
