Yeah, I don't see much reason to make it a high priority item. Speaking of chinese cartoons, maybe let me know how Takarajima/Treasure Island goes when you get around to watching it. Looks pretty decent and directed by Dezaki, so I've been wanting to watch it, but it's also not a title I hear about too often.

Well... I'd suggest a trailer to make sure. It's kind of a weird and grotesque circus movie, and while I think it's probably fashioned to be a little more accessible than his older work... I can see people who like HM and ET being underwhelmed and people who don't like those prob won't like this either.

Nah, of course I'm not gonna do that. That's so bad. It doesn't matter what your taste is because you'll eventually stumble upon something you don't like and fanboys will say "get a brain moranz" and "go watch ur Michael Bay looool." It's very annoying. I experienced the same thing you did with other films/lit/art Jodorowsky fanboys like. You can't like everything lol.

Oh, I always hated Family Guy, but I like that line. XD

Yes, I always suggest one to watch Holy Mountain over El Topo, but I see you don't like either.

His newer works are very bad, and I doubt you'd like Santa Sangre either. HM and ET are the best of the older period.

I remember seeing some images from one of the comics he wrote, and the art was quite vivid.

Yeah, I was talking to kraanerg about Druillet recently, and he owns a physical copy of some of Druillet's work—not sure which ones. But he was saying the storytelling is kind of on the nonsensical side, but the art really is impressive. Those are probably no. 1 on my list of comics to read. With only the Jodorowsky written ones and Moebius coming close.
