| I did watch this anime when at its release, and now im here idk if i should be happy about the 3rd season because i dont remember anything at all... makes me wonder if it would be worth rewatching or nah |

It looks like a fuckin' mess. Not a slam against the guy who made it of course but what the hell is this - Season 1 episode 18 then season 2 episode one and then back to season 1. I watched two episodes of the third season and I'm not sure I should be watching further. What is the Right Seat of God, what is the Orthodox Church guys deal? What am I watching? What is happening? Were those characters there before? Are they new? Yeah... I can't spare another week or two to rewatch everything again. I'm gonna look for some abridged version online. |

You can read the list as you're watching the anime. You can't do that with a video. You'd have to seek through the video, find where you're at and where you're going. The wikia is where I got the info, but it's not formatted in a simple way that can be taken in at a glance such as the list that I posted. I simplified it. So "you could just" is kind of a weird way to say it when the two alternatives you shared are more involved and time-consuming ways to get the same information. Genesis Aria is a great song Edit: the wikia also has a lot of minor spoilers in it's "timeline". So that's also another reason I prefer to just paste the simplified list. |

Kougeru said: My username is way older than that, and it means something completely different.Genesis Aria is a great song I post the wiki because it shows the tables for the overlapping arcs side by side, which allow you to manage whether you watch them one then other or tag team etc (for example on sisters arc, it's ideal to keep watching railgun into the first, and then go over to index, and then try focusing on watching the index end first and railgun second, because esle you'll be taking that big quality dip by watching the superior drawn railgun first etc etc etc. It's more specific. |

| Well ghe director and screenwriter confirmed it in an interview that they will only adapt he highlights from each arc, exposition will be cut. So if u are anime only i would recommend reading the novels, else the adaption wont make much sense to u, cause the major direction of this adaption is fanservice for light novel readers, anime onlys like u are doomed without reading the novels. |

Well comparing Index and Railgun is like comparing apple to orange, as both are different product (Index=Light Novel, Railgun=Manga). The reason why Railgun anime is handled so well because it's source material was a manga and it's far easier to be adapt than Index did, not to mention it's director Nagai does care about the accuracy so no wonder the anime was better than Index (Exclude the fillers). |

| It's precisely because I don't remember s1 and s2 that I couldn't watch this 3rd season as it was airing. So I re-watched both seasons and am watching s3 right now. |
