Nice strat tbh
turning off the lights and forcing them to adapt with night vision, only to turn it back on and attack them while they're blind
we also finally get to see hyuse's first rank match but reeeee
this is the last weekly chapter

So embarrased with Tensura fans and the fandom, how have we degraded

Alright not much to comment on this time, other than how useful Kage's SE proved to be. Also Hyuse is already taking liberty with Osamu's orders lol. To be expected, that's exactly what Hyuse said he would be doing earlier and Osamu was fine with it.

Taichi is probably rip. Kinda curious why Ashihara didn't just go ahead and put first blood in this chapter. Everyone that's not Azuma or Chika is already very busy so no one will be coming to save Taichi, but we'll see.

I mean people are going to want to see it regardless because finally we get the duo in action after being off screen for pretty much the whole round so far.

Idk I guess it was a choice between a grand entrance with a kill or a more calm one.

Blinding the night vision strat scores quite a damage to Kage, pretty awesome. Zoe breaking the lamps to not get blinded is good, but doesn't the hall have lamps too? (Well, not as blinding as the shop lamps)

Osamu is saved by the lights out thanks to Usami's support, and it seems Okudera and Koarai is missing. My best guess is that they will fight in the bottom floor against Tamakoma. Azuma and Chika stays undetected, Azuma went inside the building, meanwhile we never get a glimpse of Chika's whereaboutsince the beginning of the fight.

Oh qrip Taichi btw, there is no living through those two.

-Like the commentators I'm quite surprised/impressed by Kageura and Kitazoe's strategic side.
-I just love Hyuse and Kuga's nonchalant entrance.
-As expected, Usami is was a damn good operator.

In my opinion, the biggest take away of this chapter is how Suzunari-1 completly failed to take advantage of their careful planning. The strategy was smart in itself and comprehensive with black kogetsu and Escudo protection. So what's the problem? They're just out of their league aren't they. And I'm kind of glad. I like Ko but I think Kuruma and Taichi are his ball and chains. They're sweet and trying really hard but from my point of view, these two are lower middle B-rank at best...

Nice chapter as usual, but it's sad we have to wait for almost 2 weeks for the next one. Luckily it'll have 40 something pages.
- I think this chapter is the first time we see Suzunari branch. It's quite big. I wonder if they have a lot more people we haven't seen yet since it was said that people who don't care for rank wars usually join that branch.
- Interesting result from the last rank wars. So there were 2 survivors. I'm betting on Nino and Azuma.
- Mantis malleability is impressive. Kage's SE is even more impressive since it doesn't just tell him the direction of the attacks but also the type of attacks since he can dodge perfectly in the dark.
- I wonder why Murakami doesn't use senkuu and try to damage Kage and Zoe in one go, so even if Kage dodges, Zoe will be hurt. I wonder if this means that Senkuu has lumination rather than just being of transparent vacuum blade.
- In my brain, Inukai's praise for B-2 using strategy is in mocking tone, lol. While him praising Zoe is sincere.
- It seems that Osamu manages to run away before Hikari manages to switch on Yuzuru's night vision. Good job!
- Seeing Yuzuru tries to snipe the electric fuse through the floors gives a lot of information. (1) even the team that doesn't pick the map gets the floorplan of the map, so it begs the question if snipes through the wall/floor is that difficult for team that doesn't pick the map. My guess is that for stationary object, like this and Osamu in round 4, it may not be hard, but for moving target, you need to predict where they'll run to based on the floor plan and it'll be harder to judge in split second, whereas the team that picks the map can study the map beforehand and memorize the most likely routes. (2) Ibis cannot pierce Escudo and seems to hardly damages it based on the reaction of Taichi and Yuzuru. that is Taichi doesn't need to renew the Escudo while Yuzuru doesn't snipe multiple times at the same spot to pierce it. I think Escudo will be very useful during away mission, since Border will have terrain disadvantage and Escudo is proven strong enough for making barricades anywhere.
- Azuma seems to be busting out dummy beacon. I wonder what he's planning. I think his team has regrouped using the blackout confusion time and will be moving in unison from hereon.
- LOL at Taichi sandwich. I do wonder why Hyuse doesn't outright kill Taichi though. Perhaps to lure other team who also wants to kill Taichi and remove the lights on/off disturbance? But this approach is rather passive and might not be a good use of time that can be used for hunting poitns. Also, I wonder if Taichi brings meteora. If so, he may want to collapse the wall to the electrical room so other team won't take control.
- It seems that Yuuma jumped down from the highest floor to regroup with Hyuse. Makes sense since it'll be faster than Hyuse climbing up. Now that T-2 ace duo have regrouped, we can expect Hyuse's debut to start.
- I think next week we will see T-2 vs Azuma team and B-2 vs S1 minus Taichi (most likely BO). As much as T-2 wants to fight B-2, I don't think Azuma team will let them get up easily. Also, Zoe wants to regroup, so I think Yuzuru will move up rather than chase after Taichi. After all B-2 has the option to destroy all lights if needed. I am excited to see how B-2 fights as a team.
