Well, about time Jeanne found someone just as dangerous as herself on the battlefield. That masked woman is quite something.

And...Jeanne takes a brutal blow. I'm surprised they aired something like that on TV with the heart pulled out. Somehow, I have doubts that she may be truly dead.

A decent episode that did well in showing the results of Jeanne's first battle at Orleans and the changes she brought to the french. It was nice that we got to meet Charlotte's brother and also see Richmont's brother take to the field. The battle between Noire and Jeanne was brief but did well in showing the types of battles that will come. Jeanne's words to the crowds though was cute aided by her innocent nature. It was amusing seeing the relationship change between Jeanne and Mont. Noire and Glasdale though sure were powerful opponents and their tactics sure caused quite the cliffhanger.

Well..That was one "WTF!" episode. Both of the ulysses are dead within one single episode! I wanted to see some more extreme actions between the two but damn.. And as usual this MC couldn't do anything except for watching. I think his real Gilles mode is going to awaken soon. Wasn't expecting Jeanne to die already once. That Ulysses hunter got it all way too easily. Now Duke's first mission seems to be a huge success. And Astaroth is full of mysteries, now she wants MC to get that girl from the stone. I think that's her real form. And Alencon was actually awesome this episode. I think they've already replaced Richemont's position with him. So he'll lead the front line. And Batard the trap lmao! So, it's MC, Alencon and Batard for now while the new girl appears next episode. But too sad, wanted to see more of busty Philip this episode. Jeanne is going to be revived but Philip has got HG as well so that won't take too long to see them back again. Also I don't see them stop rushing through every single episode which is really bad.

Ahahah wow, it feels like this show is being made by amateurs. This episode crossed the line, it got so bad that it became good. A good mix of painful to watch moments, not understanding what the hell is going on moments, ridiculous pacing and cliche, not to mention insulting plot of course. A must watch of the season, such entertainment shouldn't be skipped. Can it get even worse? I hope so.

I doubt Jeanne is going to remain dead (if she dies to begin with), she has to be burn to be dead for real.
Ulysses Noire was a compelte joke too. All that hype at the end of the previous episode to only serve as a way to kill Jeanne. Pathetic.

Montmorency is just a weak pathetic guy. he just watch jeanne get shot by the arrow. didnt even try to do anything to stop it, like runn infront of it or use his magic. he pissed me off this episode, he does nothing and he cant even fight. and he acted all suprised wen the arrow hit them, well duhh if ur just gonna watch it and not try to stop it. so stupid and now she is dead and idk how they plan on bringing her back if they can

Did jean d arc just died on that one... alongside with ulysses noire... the battle between jean d arc and jalter (ulysses noire) is a little bit short but atleast has shown how powerful the version of jalter in here. Hahaha..

Anyways just like in Fate grand order this series just prove that ARCHER > Saber as jean d arc (which represents a saber class [not like in fate GO which is a ruler]) and in here its like the archer used his arrow to kill the heart of jean d arc and jalter (ulyyses noire)...

Who would have thought this shit could get even worse. Atrocious animation, fights were...I don't even want to talk about. Just look at these PowerPoint presentations xD

So this is what that fight was all about. Jeanne was just envious of her huge rack.

In the fight Jeanne vs Philip they just used the same frames 3 times.

Pacing is insane. They crammed like 1/3 of the book in one episode and skipped a lot. For example they show us that Alenson is angry with Richemont and MC but didn't tell the reason. He was actually captured with Richemont after that battle in episode 1. So while she was switching sides, he was a prisoner. She run away and didn't give a fuck about him lmao. He thought that they would kill him. And for some reason he blamed MC for this... Like she didn't ask for help because of her pride but at the same time she was waiting MC will come and save her lmao. Well I guess everyone in this show is an idiot.

See now? There's nothing to expect except of complete despair. The way it's rushing there's nothing much to understand about what's going on. And I can guarantee that Richemont will be the one to pull the final trigger over everyone. She returns back but that happens on vol.5. But before that everything she's going to do are absolute nonsense. As far as I can understand she'll go and become Duke's dog only to take revenge over La Tremeile don't know why she holds such grudges towards him so hope they shows. Philip may return back to normal self but no idea what happens with her until then, obviously nothing good is gonna happen. But charlotte becoming ulysses is not a spoiler anymore. We may not see that happening on this season anyways. Astaroth is hiding so many things from MC still now. Assuming that holographic blonde was her true self and she doesn't wants MC to know the truth but wants him to unleash her true self somehow. I've checked the summary of other volumes, this whole story is completely messed up. But Richemont is so far the only character who's messed up at an extreme level. Just wait and see what she does later on. That's all what I think from my own point of view after checking through every available source. Poor implement of CG has completely destroyed the action scenes as well so there's nothing left that worth watching this show. Dropping it.

The historical Arthur de Richemont did join them more than once (the second time due to conflicts with Charles VII and the machinations of Tremoille, just like now happening on the anime) so I expect you'll see Richemont getting troops from the Duke and you know what type of deal that might be while the Richemont is anime is a girl and Duke is the dangerous kind of pervert. This is the arc in the Hundred Years War where France was badly NTR'd by the English because both Brittany and Burgundy were allied with the English. But still, if you read LN or know better about what might happen then that's going to be something else. But as far from my point of view and judgement I think it's heading that way. Not only Richemont, there are so many other messed up things going to happen.

The problem is they really don't have time to make Richemont change sides again. You can see in the opening Jehanne burning at the stake. This is volume 4! Like I said episode six adapted only 1/3 of the second volume. I guess it will tale 1.5-2 episode untill volume 3. I can't even imagine how they are going to cram volumes 3 and 4 into 4 episodes. Unless they put that scene in the opening just for the lulz

I am not sure about that part. Anime showed that she doesn't minds losing it anymore. And Duke is only after her body so the equation is quite simple you know. And there's no other options left for them to make that scene happen besides of offering her body to Duke. Rest is up to the author and director of this show. If they wants they could change that part. That is going to be the most useless twist of this show. There are so many important parts where they could've used her instead of making her a sexual material. They should had added some other side character to make that happen instead of her since she's going to become some solid major role from vol.5.

There are so many holes in this adaptation and I don't really think they can finish all 4 vols properly so there's a high chance of announcing a season 2 in order to complete the gaps. This season doesn't makes anything clear. The story is still unfinished and this season is going end up with a cliffhanger. Rest depends on the popularity.

You need to find vol.3 and vol.4 I think vol.3 is mostly covers richemont's story. Whatever she's been doing behind the scene and until she returns whatever happens everything was explained there. If you can somehow find vol.3 and vol.4 then you can be sure about her complete story. Kindly pm me if you find anything. I am only watching for her so I don't mind getting spoiled about her.

Actually liked this show at first. It's a damn shame.

So Philip was able to become a ulysses (which are apparently a dime a dozen now) because she happened to have an evil cursed helmet and somehow was able to transport the elixir all the way to burgandy? Keeping in mind that it literally evaporates the moment it touches air. Unless they're trying to say that 1 sip is enough, even though Jeanne has to keep drinking it. For some reason her breasts also grow exponentially and so does her hair?Shes now working with archer Klein and vash, who changed his hair (or someone stole his glasses). Now they're trying to pull some shit where the titular character is "dead."

This is izetta all over again.
