| Why does Kirito need Eugeo to go to Central ? He said it during this episode, but technically he could go alone, considering Eugeo never stepped outside his village in the first place... Also 5/5 love the pacing, graphics and storytelling! I've started reading the LN Alicization to follow each episodes but I'm kinda slow... |
| I knew it was too good to be true, that episode 1 instantly ended off with a cliffhanger where Kirito is implied to be serious danger. I thought it was gonna kicked into high gear and stay that way, but this is fine too. Anyways, Selka really looks different without her sister clothes. Anyways, I feel like we're being left in the dark about a lot of things at the moment. I'm looking forward to Kirito getting around to saving Alice, but I'm more interested in the technology behind transporting to this world. And given the difference in time flow, we'll be likely to say goodbye to the characters of this world once we go back to the real world, probably? So many questions... we'll have to see what happens next. |

| There was quite a lot of exposition this episode, and yet it still feels like there's so, so much more to everything we're being told and everything we're not being told (like the Object Control thing, which I'd guess means Kirito can perfectly wield any blade at or below his "level" on that scale). There was also a decent amount of plot progression too, and that's put us into a whole new cliffhanger that's hard to see as way out of, unless there's some weapons just lying around in the dragon's treasure pile for Kirito to use (that wouldn't be surprising, but it would be a slight cop out for sure). |
| You wait a long time for a show featuring goblins and THREE shows featuring goblins in the same season appear at once. Coincidence? Hmm.....maybe. XD These goblins are only interested in selling Selka (Thank goodness the only thing they've done to her is tie her up and nothing else.) and want to dispose of Kirito and Eugeo. With the visual quality still being top notch so far, I want to see more of that quality for the action animation scenes in the inevitable battle next week. Keep it up, A-1. =) |
| After the first two interesting episodes (8/10 for me) now a episode which was a bit boring (7/10). Let's see if they pick up the pace again - and if there will be an interesting confrontation with those knights. Worst that could happen: Wasting 1-2 episodes to resuce Selka with no real progress and then moving back to the tree taking again another 1-2 episodes ... until they finally leave the village and explore the world and go to the big city where Alice got taken. If they are still in the village by episode 6-7 this could "lock" the scores 8 or higher for me because of slow pacing. |

| Yeah, I understand that it's fine for now, it's just when we get back to the real world. Since time pasts really quick, all these characters in this world that we'll have become attached to will be gone after this arc presumably. Just speculating of course, I've not actually read the source material for SAO. |

| Another series with goblins as a side dish, this calls for Gordon Ramsey and Icewind Dale's Goblin Pie. Hopefuly this one will not degrade into a one man army power fantasy during which every female falls into Kirito's harem gravity well (although given modus operandi of previous series this situation begs for "ravioli, ravioli, Kirito's gonna lewd that nun loli" situation...). Pedram said: I don't even understand how a race that need to rape female human can still stay goblin after several generation... they would become half-goblin then 1/4 Goblin... then 1/8 and go on until it looks mostly human lol I suspet goblins from GS are literally parasitic organisms continuing to thrive with their genes being dominant all across the board susequently overriding human genes . They may only need human species only as living incubator that will not only bear their offspring, but also provide some sort of genetic input. Ophiocordyceps unilateralis (a zombi fungi if you prefer) might be a good real-life analogy. |

| Great episode, this relatively slow introduction to the world is letting me so hyped! Kirito finally thought that there is probably a way to cut the tree much faster. Goblins?Again? xD It's the 3rd anime that i'm watching that has Goblins in it hahaha The Slime anime is the only one where the Goblins are good xD Can't wait for the next episode! |

| Nice episode. Selka is Alice's little sister. Kirito using the sword was pretty cool though he doesn't have the required level to wield the sword I guess. Poor Selka, getting captured by those goblins. Kirito and Eugeo are in a tough situation. |

I like the slow pace this season of SAO is handling. Showing bits of lore by demonstrating it instead of info dumping them. Curious about how Eugeo is said to not smile anymore yet we see him smiling at Kirito; probably affection because he used to know him but was erased from his memories, or maybe just coincidence due a funny situation. I liked how the inhabitants of that world consider a system request to apply a feature to an object a "spell", like "asking the gods for their blessing". Curious if you think about what it could really be in other fantasy shows but here, it's how they see their world, they just don't question it. Glad to see Kirito is not OP from start, what a relief =) But to be fair, is it me that because of being an espectator I know that Selka definitely went to the ice cave? Because Kirito just looked so clueless the whole time and then the thought of it popped into his mind in a sec. Goblins are dominating this season! |

| Great episode once more. Now we are slowly getting somewhere. Kirito found a nice sword, which he doesn't seem to be able to handle very well yet. It looks cool though. He told Selka about what happened to Alice and now she has made a run toward the dark territory. Poor Selka been captured by Goblins (again the goblins, we can't escape them this season). They look rather nasty... Eugeo is frozen in place cause of it. Looking forward for more. |

| I definitely felt teased by that ending. Also, I'm not gonna say what other people would normaly about these "guys" being there. For freaking sake, are people always gonna act like the armageadon has arrived upon us someday ! Coincidences can happen, not like it was planned or something ... Yes, 3 anime have showcased them so far but I could less care about that. Now, the pacing still mighty fine so far, it ended just at the point I thought they would, which is fine cuz next episode is where we gonna get a CORNERSTONE of this anime season. |

| Seeing how I have yet to get my hands on light novels and have read only some of the manga - so far, so good. The pacing is nice, thou Eugeo annoys me and I hope for improvement soon. But damn, goblins? Seriously? ROFL, it has everyone going crazy over it, goblins everrrrrywhere XD |

| Honestly I really enjoy Alicization by far, especially because they kicked out all the useless characters (so basically everyone) just to keep Kirito And here Kirito is not overpowered for no reason (not yet...?) like he was before, and he yet doesn't tend to be an edgelord Plus the art style is really gorgeous and thus far, the plot looks pretty good too So I have high expectations for the next episodes ! |
| Meh, if SAO is not PG6+, then the sister would just get raped by Goblins before being sold. The author is trying to write a kid friendly show that's suited to watch/ easy to merchandise to millions of people. |

| Yeah, I am loving this pacing. It's relaxing when it needs to be and tense when it needs to be. I love the BGM too; it's perfect for RPG and makes me feel like I'm fishing in Zelda...or something. xD It's nice to see the boys teaching each other things and Kirito having a heart-to-heart talk with a girl who is interested in someone else but I do feel bad for Selka because she's probably going to get her heart shattered; Eugeo is fixated on Alice. She's well aware of that though. Kirito really IS a mature character; 'I f**ked up so I'm gonna take responsibility, bro'. And....THAT SWORD IS GORGEOUS. MAY I HAVE ONE? |
