NO LIGHT NOVEL DISCUSSIONS! This is for the anime only. Please don't discuss the light novels as they spoil it for the anime onlies. ---------------------------------------- I have to give Itsuwa some credit this episode. Even though she's outmatched against someone like Terra, she doesn't give in. Not a fan of Terra but I think they protrayed his personality pretty well this episode. Tsuchimikado also showed up during that fight so it added a more interesting twist. Got to see a lot more of the science side which I think is a plus so far this season. Accelerator is back too baby. Terra totally deserved that punch in the face by Touma. Glad they animated the scene of Accelerator standing in the fire. Itsuwa's reaction of fear is very legit. I'd be scared too if I saw someone stand in flames like that. |

And this concludes OT14. Earth blade looks quite good. And we have our first Touma punch in this season (The one with Tsuchi doesn't count). Battle Royale next ! This arc is gonna make or break this season so pls don't fuck it up any more JC Staff. |

Oh, come on, seriously fuck this director, I was so looking forward to terra getting bisected by supersonic pillar and dying with a satisfied look. Jesus they suck, and why do we need another bath scene. WHY DO THEY KEEP SHOVING IN ANIME ORIGINAL BATH SCENES, WHO THE HELL ASKED FOR THIS! You had the money to anime Mikoto taking a bath, but not terra's personality and subtle future plot hints! Fuuuck yooou. |

Most LN readers already know since the 1st episode that the staffs don't really care about this arc. Knowing this somehow made me less mad. Let's see if whatever "effort" they cut from Avignon is gonna appear on the next arc. Sales prediction is already falling so I really hope they notice this. Not possible, have you seen the "quality" in the preview, god that's some good "quality" right there. I am willing to gamble my kidney on them blowing all their budget on making Mikoto's bath scenes in this episode and Vol 16 bath scene look better than actually using it where it matters. Have you taken a look at this director's resume? The man even said he enjoys making bath scenes more than anything and got bored half-way through looking over the source material for adaptation. He is not a good fit for this franchise. Mod Edit: Modified quote of edited post. |

So Mikoto finally knows about the memory loss and she got some other information as well the question is what is she going to do with that information. And Accelerator was disappointing in this episode. Terra didn't last long either... |

That was decent i guess, not liking Terra's design in anime at all, he just looks so weird. Mikoto's bath scene ... should i be happy or not, whatever. Touma is back at punching faces. Love the track for the God's Right seat, was it like that in novel how Terra died. BR arc next, i believe, but Kakine's design in the preview ... |

Hmm the precedence ability is quite the troublesome ability. The academy sure spared no expense in the forces they sent to secure the document. Terra's ability sure was tricky but once the trick was determined he fell quickly. Seems the church is planning a much serious strike on the city assisted by their new russian allies. Itsuwa sure was the star this episode with her determination to fight against Terra despite being outmatched being the highlight. |

the animation quality is so sad damn Terra is about to reveal what Imagine Breaker really is but he got interrupted by Accelerator what shitty timing that was, and RIP Terra now Misaka knows Touma got amnesia lets see what this saint class Acqua guy can do like he is gonna fight the whole of Japan with the help of the Russians it seems |

Good solid episode! Kamijou, or “Above God”, has really piqued my curiosity and I wonder if it has anything to do with our main character. Meanwhile, Misaka was listening to the conversation between Terra and Touma and I’m looking forward to see how she responds to this. I hope we get to know more about this ‘Amnesia’ and the hidden facts beneath it all in due time. Japan, or Science Academy City, surely went all guns blazing with the sudden attack. I was expecting Accelerator to cause some more havoc but I guess more than enough damage had already been inflicted, it’s good to see Last Order in next week’s preview so we’re most likely going to see more of Accelerator too. Terra of the Left’s power sure was a tough nut to crack but once exposed, it didn’t take long for Touma to gain the upper hand. It was surprising to see Acqua take him down so easily, an Op character incoming and looks like Russia and Catholic v Japan is soon to come! Itsuwa giving it her all against Terra even though her defeat was inevitable was a great highlight of the episode! I’m looking forward to seeing more of Itsuwa in the coming episodes! |

Battle scene is dissapointment, story pace is fine tho. They should be combine battle scene with conversation instead. I still dissapoint that no close up view during touma last punch or heavy magical effect like they usually does. Eventhough this arc is weakest in term of action, they actually could make touma vs terra more interesting. But touma last punch isnt as impactful as before. Next episode is battle royale arc, I hope no more dissapointment since that arc considered as best arc before Ww3. |

The transition of Terra being blasted by the blade of Academy City to him appearing in the Vatican was very weird. Like, if it looked like he died in Avignon, then he suddenly appeared fine and in one piece with Acqua (he still looks as badass as last season). The only think I didn't like of the episode, since that could've be done better. It's a pity too they got rid of Terra that soon, he had a cool, smooth voice. Accelerator appeared, but he didn't do much. Oh, well, he has an arc for himself next week, so it's all okay. Seeing Touma punching people and saying his iconic line again was gold. Even if the visuals could've been better, was still satisfying. Also loved Abe's voice acting during the Touma vs Terra, Touma sounded really angry in that moment. Lidvia's Italian was nice to hear, for a Japanese voice actress, didn't sound bad at all. And Mikoto finally knows the truth about Touma's lost memeories. What she will do about that? Curious to know it. Also: List of people punched by the Touman: -Episode 01: Tsuchimikado (1 time) -Episode 03: Terra (2 times) |

TouMAN has amnesia O_O Now I'm extra curious to find out about who he is and the truth behind his ability RIP Terra though, that Accqua guy doesn't mess around lol and also it was nice to see best boy Accelerator and best girl Misaka have more a presence in this episode Hopefully they'll be shown more in the coming eps :D Good ep and good fight overall |

So now Mikasa listened by phone that Touma get memory loss, and she listened everything! What will she do with that information? Terra were about revealing what is and how work imagine break, but Accelarator interrupted in time! I am really curious too see how it work! I really want to know what have Touma related to what she said to Styl, "Kami Jou" means above god, and Touma also is a Kamijou, i am really curious about this mistery! |

I really liked this episode, but I wish people would STOP WHINING ABOUT ANIMATION QUALITY! It's well made we don't need blow your head off quality just a good story and proper voice acting. And the pace is good it covers the important facts in the arc. If you truly love anime then then stuff like quality shouldn't mean anything. |

If you truly love anime then then stuff like quality shouldn't mean anything. its an action show so of course i expect good animation quality on the action scenes at least, the previous seasons do not have awesome sakuga action scenes but they are good enough if i remember right While that is true, high quality is not what makes a good action anime. It's in the deliverance of the action how they show it cause action has high emotion quality is only one small part i do not even expect high quality animation lol i just want a good animation on the action scenes like from previous seasons I watched both season like a week before a s3 started the quality is the same in my opinion in fact s3 quality slightly better. Plus this is only the third ep it's best not to prejudice when your not even half way through a series its been a long time since i have seen the previous seasons but this guy on the other thread agrees with me https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1746698#msg56010723 and nope anime usually have good to high quality animation in the first few episodes then as the show goes to the middle the quality of the animation drops because of tightening production time That's not what I saw with the last two season the quality was quite good in my opinion throughout and I think it'll be the same here |

The infamous Toma Punch never gets old and is always satisfying when it hits its target. Terra got it in his face twice and boy did I like it! =D The conclusion to this arc was pretty good and just seeing Accelerator again, even if for a short amount of screentime, still got me hyped. Things are looking pretty interesting now that Misaka finally finds out about Toma's amnesia. It does make me wonder just how her next interaction with him will go. And, to be honest, the animation and visual quality was a step-up from the last episode, which is good. Can J.C. Staff do better? Of course they can, but in no way does the animation and visual look really shoddy like certain people are saying. If you want that, then direct yourself to Tokyo Ghoul:Re 2nd season immediately. -__- |

I know which anime I'm talking about, the quality looks the same and that's fine all I care about is the deliverance of a good story. QUALITY matters the least to me if it's all you care about is the quality of something then stuck with the novel is manga |
