I think that this episode was really lovely, the display of emotions was really perfect (and heartbreaking ;_;)

Emotional and well-plotted!
I don't wanna feel sad for Miya, coz she was the reason of Rei's misery, but I found myself somehow saddened when she was crying over Rei's body (T_T)

only 4 more eps to go..

I might of felt that way if Rei committed suicide or something, but she didn't and so I do feel bad for Miya. Plus there is something about Miya that I feel for.

I almost cried when Miya was weeping over Rei's body. Its tragic they both knew they were real sisters, but kept the truth from each other.

This episode was superb because of the subtle progression of the feelings and the evolution of the characters. I wonder what's next after this, since it almost was like an ending.

Definitely one of the best episodes thus far. I didn't think this series would make me cry, but the part with Henmi and Miya at the funeral really got to me. Miya got some great character development this episode too.

Love? Really? Fukiko, do you like sadomaso way of love? She is so careless, because Rei continued to live despite everything. And she didn't think that Rei may pass away.

I don't know, I still can't accept that Miya really loved Rei. She went out of her way to torment and torture her over a period of time spanning years, (understandably) driving her into drug addiction and mental instability. What Miya did to Rei was sick, plain and simple. You don't do that kind of twisted nonsense to someone you love.

Why did Miya suddenly have a turnaround and start to openly love Rei, anyway? Was it because she came to her sorority tea party? Rei's done supportive stuff like that for her before and it meant nothing. Why the character change? Am I missing something?

@alex_ichiban well, she was jealous and she punished Rei for not being near here (I guess) but drug addiction & mental instability is too much. I'm missing something too. Miya is weird.

So the Sorority, a tradition that spanned decades and presumably brought prestige to the school, is now abolished because no-one wants it it anymore for some reason.

If Fukiko loved Rei she had a weird way of showing it. Didn't really care for Rei and Fukiko so this episode didn't do much for me.

Her way of love is twisted.
She would do the same to Takahiko if he were always close to her.
Rei was always close and was vulnerable.

But anyway, no one wants to discuss this bullshit death?
Seriously, how the flowers fell from her hands? Why she had to jump over the crossing? Seriously, last episode I really thought it was just a bad joke, seeing that Rei had fallen above the train and not in front of the train. For a moment seeing Rei in the ground I really believed that would rise up.

Fukiko was really annoying but I really don't know how to feel about this now, she changed when it was far too late.

Also those notices on the board always shine brighter than my future.

So Miya knew all along about being full sisters with Rei... but what brought on the idea of trying to hate her?!? Good to know they had a strong sister bond despite Miya having done a lot of terrible things to Rei and also Sorority finally being abolished

not for some reason. people realized the sorority is a fucked up chaste system which created lots of drama and unfairness among students. just because something has been a tradition for years it doesn't mean it has to last forever.

Love when a character is fridged only to show character growth in another. Lady Miya obviously changed too late, and it's hard to believe that she loved Rei when she was so abstinate in her hatred before. But it was really sad that they were sisters anyway, and it sucks that Rei's family didn't help her or support her in ways that really matter.
I'm glad it wasn't a suicide, but I don't think her death and the way that it happened adds any greater depth to the situation lol I actually had to take a break from this series because I thought that we had 4 more episodes of Nanako and Rei going on cute dates together... finally a couple.. but then they killed her lmao
I wasn't quite ready to face the end of this series where everyone is sad and agonizing over Rei's pointless expiration.

Fuck man what a good episode. I shed a few tears. The direction is absolutely chilling, and I even felt a bit of connection with Miya despite her abusive relationship with Rei.

....And I'm crying again. This is really getting to me.

I hope that the abolition of the sorority was the right move. I'm not even sure anymore.

I don't like it.

There are a lot of emotions, and everything is portrayed as unfortunate tragedy, but if the events are broken down, they aren't really so special. So what if they are true sisters? Why was only one of them adopted in the first place? Why should it even matter? Most of it feels like an exaggerated drama born from twisted minds of teenage girls who didn't know how else to deal with shocking revelations.

I can't help but think back to the conversation between Henmi and Nanako's mother, where he admitted to being resentful at first but then realising none of it really mattered in the grand scheme of things, which is a healthy response of someone who managed to process trauma without obsessing over it.

In that contrast, Rei and Fukiko are shown as someone who couldn't deal with their situation, both mentally unstable. Which in many ways was caused by the decisions of adults around them. Rei's mother committing suicide right in front of her was some fuck-up shit alone, no wonder Rei decided to cling to the ideas her mother expressed before dying, probably as a way of denying what actually happened.

I don't believe Rei's death was an accident either. She always romanticised suicide and did everything to orchestrate her own perfect day to die. Starting with cleaning her room, changing clothes, sending roses and even having someone watch the sunset in the time of her death. She threw those flowers herself to have a reason to reach for them and jump, as if to say "there's nothing I could do, it was inevitable" or so that there was no chance for her to rethink that decision.

And I still don't like it one bit. It's too sad and infuriating that so many trivial in essence things couldn't be resolved in any other way.
