| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- LOL, Eijun and his teammates' reactions are so priceless. I like how this match had a lot of pride. Hell, even the weather got brighter with the energy that everyone is pouring into the game. Ending felt somewhat lacking imo but overall momentum was good. These past few episodes have been a great start for things to come so I'm excited for more. Well done Seido High, well done. |

| Now that really was a "from zero to hero" moment!!! It was pretty exciting to see even if we knew it was coming. Got a little scared seeing Kawakami pitching at the end, all's is well that ends well! Ochiai has his own problems now! |

| That was too intense for my heart. And I laughed when Inui was struck by lightning again hahahahaahahahahaha. Looks like Kataoka is starting to influence Ochiai with his coaching style too. |

In the final, he got pressured because of Sawamura's deadball. And here, he got pressured because of his own error against Inajitsu. |

| That game ending was pretty amazing. I loved the character development but most of all SUCCESS is the BEST REVENGE. That win was for Coach Kataoka. So you can keep stroking your beard all you want "assistant coach." What now?? #*$7 yeah. We be taking Coach to nationals! |

| Despite Taiyou's arrogance, I think it's interesting how quickly it seemed that he accepted the end game. I guess it's because he believed his choice to be right and didn't blame himself. This is good and bad; good because then he won't dwell on it and can immediately move forward and practice more (just as he thought after the game ended, he wanted to get even better control), but bad because it's possible he'll overestimate himself again. It's good that he can envision success (immediately thinking about the finishing pitch already), yet it's also important to focus on the current pitch. Although I didn't like him, I think he still had some interesting parts to him as a character. And I don't think Kawakami is an awful pitcher, even though yes, he does get pressured too easily. He does best as a relief pitcher, and he hasn't really made any costly mistakes except against Yakushi and Inashiro. In all the other games, I believe he didn't give up any runs as the end game pitcher. Just because we don't see him pitch as much doesn't mean he's bad. He at the very least is the most consistent pitcher on the team. Anyways, I liked the way Miyuki got Nori's spirits back by pointing out the clear sky ^^ Miyuki is has potential to be a good captain. Not saying that he's not good right now. |
| lol I can't stop laughing at Koushuu and his sudden decision to go to Seidou, it seems so out of his character :D so nice to see the rivarly between Sawamura and Furuya growing ha! and i just love when Ochiai has to agree with coach Kataoka |

| Great to see Maezono was able to hit Mukai's pitch and ended up getting all 3 runners to base but Maezono got cocky and was caught out. xD Kawakami was still tense but the beautiful scene of the sunlight revitalized him and he was able to finish off the game like a champion. Great win for Seidou! The assistant coach was sweating at the end lmao, he better be. 5/5 |

| Great episode, Kawakami somehow managed to hold it down. Not much focus on him at all, probably harder then it looked since they skipped showing the 1 run scored. Way to make the coach look good at the end, wish he was like that last season. |

| Maezono my MAN!!! Thank god he hit that, I honestly felt like he was gonna strike out at the end there. That blonde kid in the bleachers looks like he's going to be a big part in future episodes, looking forward to seeing how good of a catcher he is, Chris-tier hopefully. Great episode but my boys Sawamura and Haruichi need more screen time!!! |

| Aw yeeaah Maezono, send that sadistic pitcher packing. I like what the journalist said, considering Taiyo was so focused on pitching outside and making pitchers swing at balls, his inside was instinctively influenced by his personality and craving for that. Good on Kataoka for shutting the sergeant (thanks Sawamura) up good. He really needs to stay, he has improved vastly as a coach and combined with how the new team is maturing, they'll probably make an amazing team. Can't wait for the possible rematch with Inashiro as well, that sounds intense. |

| A good episode. Maezono actually did something great for a change! Liked how he was able to read the inside pitch. Seeing Furuya and Sawamura's rivalry blossoming is great, so. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| ¬Why put Kawakami in when Sawamura was on fire? I thought it was for sure over after those three runs. Oh well, they still won! Hell yeah, new guy going to Seido. He seems like he’ll be a really interesting character. Might be a while before we see him in action though. Looks like Furuya is looking at Sawamura as a threat again. When he gets his inside pitch back, he’ll be a monster. Sawamura’s ‘bout to take the mound back! Wow, Inashiro after the next game. | Half expected them to lose, actually. But if they did, it would have been really harsh on Kawakami. And of course, I'm glad they won, just seemed more like a lucky win if anything. This Ochiai... every time he speaks is as if he's shitting on Kataoka, while Kataoka gives such inspiring speeches. It pissed me off. Also, Sawamura is growing on me as a character with each episode. Usually, I don't like MCs of his type, but the way he is so conscious about his weak and strong points and how sincere his desire to improve while not being overly selfish is just endearing. |

| Feels good seeing that smugfaced Mukai with his looking down on the batters being defeated. Improving two rivals rather than creating one Ace, hopefully Ochiai learns something from Kataoka's profound words here. |
