| I dropped this here. I thought it had potential based on the previews, the voice cast, etc, but nope. A lame harem show with a dragging plot and too much fanservice. I rate it NS-13 (Not suitable for anyone over 13). |
| So it's a story about forbidden love, and Rinne was cursed because Karen was cucked by them. And Rinne will one day be revived and the curse will lift when Setsuna reunites with her and rekindles their love...LOVE TRIANGLES!!! "What do you think you're talking about when you've lost your memory!?" "I don't know. That's what I think." Good answer. ^_^ So the curse is Soot Blight Syndrome...And the island is isolated because of it...And the locals use the legend to maintain authority...huh... Kuon speaks! Well if Rinne doesn't have the syndrome, does she have it considering that she's locked up in her room and wearing a hoodie? Or maybe she is the original Rinne... I guess Rinne believes in the legend to the point where she lives by it whether it is true or not. Guess all we can do now is wait and see how all this unfolds... |

| So this isn't AOTY material but the mystery element has me interested enough to keep going, and since I just watched Master of Ragnarok before this my standards for a decent harem anime are at an all time low. |

| The story seems interesting enough. The character designs could have been better though. They look too young to be in a romantic(?) relationship. Setsuna looks like Touma from magical index. |
| I was surprised when that grandmother also had the same disease as Rinne. A disease that is not allowed to be exposed to the sun is very troublesome. The orange girl seemed to want to go to the main island to find her mother. |
| So far this adaptation manages to take things that were a tad annoying on the VN and make them even more annoying without any context and pushing so much shit at your throat in such a short span of time, lol. You may be way off, OR have you spoiled yourself with the plot?! It was fishy you suddenly thought of that, there is no information right now to make such a theory. |

| Makes sense. Rinne was fine after waking up in the morning in front of Setsuna's bed, despite being directly in-front of an open window. It's only to be expected that one would be wary of inheriting soot blight syndrome from their parents. The "Karen" in that legend was a massive cunt as well. Hope the current Karen doesn't have much in common with her beyond the name. |
