The animation is stellar, but that's the only good thing I can glean from this. The story was hard to wrap my head around besides that it deals with trains, I guess. Hardly anything was explained, the pacing was crap if not slow in some areas, and watching Toru was like watching paint dry (bleeding/dripping included), there's nothing of interest to him, even after we learn he has ESP for whatever bullshit excuse they have--which apparently they never gave one, so he just has ESP for whatever reason. In fact, this whole OVA was the equivalent of watching paint dry for 50 minutes. Only reason I watched this was because it started with "X", and it's Madhouse.

Kudos to the small handful out there for somehow finding enjoyment out of this, because I sure didn't.
