| Anyone else getting older anime vibes from this series? Kind of reminds me of some older series |

| Yeah. Big cast anime tend to do that. Especially with the unique 'mass' or whatever it is, chasing them, and the character designs. I definitely get what you're talking about. |

| No none at all, if anything this seems straight out of 2011 in premise and visuals, though it might be because almost everything about this series screams guilty crown to me, not in actual premise just in visual style, expected tone, and probably due to pessimistic thinking the same quality which is not a good thing. |

The world was devastated with a mass that infected every human it touches. The MC and his team use some suits to protect themselves from the mass but are useless. Than the MC has a mission to protect a girl that is the key to fight the infection, she summons a monster made of light or something. And that is the only things I can remember, it was the first mecha anime I saw on TV I think. Tried to find the name but it's to difficult to find... |

| im 3 episodes deep, just adding onto my previous comment, absolutely 0 classical vibes whatsoever. Everything from the look, tone, and pacing screams late 00's to early 10's in anime and unfortunately is littered with cliches from that time. |

It seems I have also watched some anime that similar, but I can't recall the title. There were many anime like this and I like it. |
| I remember the anime, AICO is just like Zaion: I Wish You Were Here. The same story, almost a carbon copy. |
| I think it's the OP/ED songs, muted colors and suspense that give it a 2000s vibe, even though that is not that long ago. Particularly the part where they show Aiko running in the OP. The character designs are sort of like other Bones series from the 2010s though. |

| I haven't seen the series but the way they draw female characters reminds me of haruhiko mikimoto which may be a factor. |
