| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, this was so refreshing even with some minor recap of the previous season's events. The adventure of Meliodas and Elizabeth is definitely one to remember. It's really nice see the familiar faces again like Diane, Ban, Merlin, King, etc. Loved the mood of the episode as everyone got together. This episode feels like it's trying to get viewers into the mood of the franchise again and tbh, I think it's working. Good stuff, I look forward to the remainder of the season. |

| The episode is better than I expected, has a very tense atmosphere. Great job so far. Only one complaint, I think the art/animation is pretty lazy here and there but not a big deal for me. |

| Same start as Joshou except it became dark and seeing KajiKaji's character fighting against something dark. Dream? lol @ two guys w. women getting new outfit. Even titan girl got one from Sakamoto-san's character (and Hawk!?). The king wants to award them? Wow, that's too fast (right after start of 2nd season, though I know it has been developed for a long) for Suzuki-san's character to leave the group forever to go to the forest... FukuJun's character following him. There are 3 against the calling them differently. Requesting duel. The opponent saying big by looking down the enemies of 1st season because they lost. It turns out the group has huge numbers that Hawk is surprised. The action of the two enemies of 1st season doesn't make sense for the threesome. Then showing the position between the two switched with the enemies of 2nd season awakening. OP aired at the end. It's nice but I still like the one from first season little more. |

| This episode was pretty good. Did a nice job adapting very nicely. The opening is so freaking good. I could listen to it all day every day since it is good. X3 |
| Great start! Anyways for the anime watchers only, you're all in for a treat! this is gonna be amazin compared to the first arc we had, so many twists! and Jesus that OP was great! also Escanor hype voiced by Sugita aka Gintoki! this is gonna be a hell of a ride! |

Apparently the ending of the first season was just a dream and the animators completely forget that they made Howzer part of the final battle against Hendrickson lol Even though I read the manga I still have mixed feelings for the introduction of power levels... I’m still hyped to see the 10 Commandments tho! Loving that opening! Dark Meliodas has arrived!  |

| daym, the theme that play before the actual episode play (the part where they introduce Seven deadly sins) sure bring back memories and got me really hyped... I can see it... I can see the plot!. Apparently Ban and King will have their own adventure, and as the series build up they will meet up again with Meliodas team... haha, I just love this kind of plot :> |

| Good episode. Although, it looks like they retconned they end of season 1. Howzer was never fatally injured by Dreyfus. In the manga, he was supposed to but A1 decided not to do it. Once again, they are showing their incompetence. |

| Yeah, it's pretty funny how they just wrote the bs ending off like a dream. Wasn't the biggest fan of this episode but it should be better moving forward. They had about 3 chapters worth of content in this episode but because of the mess up they jumped all over the place within 10 different chapters. Guess they wanted to get the boring stuff out of the way first... |

| So, the ending of the first season was a dream/premoniton from Elizabeth? It was fine, I guess, at least A1 Pictures found a way to correct that better than in Blue Exorcist 2 (though the "original ending" of the first season of Nanatsu no Taizai was easier to fix, tbh). About the episode, I liked it, they adapted the chapters of the manga more or less faithfully, but, except for the ending with the Commandements reviving, the only very important part of the episode was Ban parting to the Forest of Fairies with King and Jericho and leaving the 7DS. The stuff with the powerlevels looked sillier here than in the manga, mostly due Hawk overreacting by the power of everyone like if he was Vegeta, but, well, we know how the powerscale in this show goes, so... The opening is awesome, I liked it better than the previous three ones (in terms of visuals at least, since the song of the second opening is hard to beat). Cannot wait for the next week to heard the voices of the rest of the Commandements. |

| Oh A1, doing the same thing they did with Blue Exorcist S2 and simply retconning the ending of the previous season. This time though, it was actually addressed and passed off as a dream, compared to Blue Exorcist where they just pretended it never happened. Anyway, a nice return for the series, and it's great to see this cast again. Not much happened, as expected since it's more of a reintroduction. Ban is leaving the Sins for a bit, and the end of the episode had me hyped with the introduction of the 10 Commandments. I have to admit, some of their color schemes are different from what I envisioned (I'll put the following in a spoiler since it would probably be a spoiler to use their names when they haven't been formally introduced yet). Overall, a solid start to a highly anticipated sequel. I'm glad they got Flow and Granrodeo to another awesome collab for the OP (which played as the ED this episode). The song was great, especially with that small appearance at the end by |

| HAWK WAS SO CUUUUTE!!! He's like a little walking talking scouter now!! That's so adorable!! Now nobody can fairly call him useless!!!! And oh my GOD Merlin is so HOT this season!!! And she's so POWERFUL! I can't WAIT to see more of her and King Arthur!!! I'm a little apprehensive about Jericho traveling with Ban in the credits sequence because I want to him to stay loyal to Elaine, but who knows what's going to happen. I like Jericho as a character and I think her crush on Ban is cute but if I think about this too much, I'm already fanning the flames of disaster. I'm just SO EXCITED!!! Seeing Meliodas so serious is so hot! |

| I don't know if bring power levels was a good idea... I don't think that that works in another anime besides DBZ and even their was kinda sh*t... But great episodes for a first! The ending was dope! And I how they both have the same voice actor... It's really cool... |

| For the first episode I decided to commemorate and screencast it...😅 My very south Asian mother sat down and questioned my life choices because of the clothing some characters wore I.e Merlin 😂😂😭 This episode did as a warm up for what's to come! |

| Great to have this back. Been waiting a long time for this as an anime only watcher. Merlin. <3 I am so glad we are gonna get more screen time for her, she deserves more. <3 When Hawk started randomly shooting out power levels I was like 'what?' Not sure how I feel about this introduction of hard numbers for power levels. I initially thought it was just a joke but let's see. Didn't expect Merlin to be a full 1000 points ahead of Meliodas though. :o Hawk and his ramblings crack me up. XD The demon clan is finally revived, I assume they're gonna be quite strong from how they're being hyped up. Looking forward to more. |

| I haven't read the manga but I can see how the show is about to take a whole new step into the action and development direction. Just from this season of anime itself, 2007 has it's work cut out for it to hold onto that golden age title! 2018 is going to be amazing. |

| Hyped enough of the show to watch a god awful fansub of it. It was an alright start. I actually like how the group split apart, always nice too see separate adventures and eventually have them get back together. Was expecting over 9000 power levels. |
| FINALLY its time to LOL, glad this series is back. There is so much im looking forward to and i hope it turns out well and un-rushed. I get why they did the recap cause its been some years from the last season but the first episode after that was great and immediately starts this great arc well. Cant wait for more. Also so glad this will be 24 eps cause this arc really deserves it. |

| Well, I'm glad that this show is back, and this was a reasonable enough start to the second season: mostly set-up, as you would expect, but that's perfectly fine to get us started I suppose. |
| Decent first episode,but just when it got really interesting it had to end with a cliffhanger. Thought the previous openings were way better songwise,tho. |

| Good to have this series back. It was a decent episode, just to set up for the rest of the series. Meliodas effortlessly whooping that knight's ass was amusing to see. The Ten Commandments in the end had a pretty cool introduction. Excited to know about each of them and the abilities. Looks like this season's gonna be worth it |
