| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Others are still searching for the main girl and saw coup d'état happening. So the people w. bird face mask are with that main bad guy and KajiKaji's character seems to work for him, too. Though acting separately, the team think for the same goal, to save the queen. The loyal guy seems to know the lady with armor, who seems to work under a certain person. That loyal guy seems to have a certain mission and she gave him something. Wow, the thief guy copying the queen's voice well (well, I'm guessing the queen's seiyuu does this part). Oh, so both the main girl and KajiKaji's character are not humans. Both are part of that bad guy's "Code:Realize" plan, which is bad. The queen agrees to fight along to save her London. The loyal guy came to the main girl and is honest about his mission. The preview shows the scenes not fighting for next ep. Rest / preparation before the final war? |

| Wow! That was one really well made episode, maybe even the best from the start until now. So many things happened and so many things were explained but it wasn't confusing and builded up nicely. OMG! At last Saint G opened his eyes! |
| ...and why didn't Van at least try to shoot Finis right after the Twilight mob he picked off, exactly? Oh, yeah... Plot armor. :-/ We can't take Finis down in episode 8. That would be too soon. I also love how Lupin "deduced" that Victoria was still in the castle just because Twilight were looking for her. *sigh* idk why I'm so critical of this particular episode. Normally I can watch anime without imposing the reality and common sense onto it, but I guess I failed this time. |

| Cardia is developing more and more each episode. Saint-Germain finally opened his eyes. His mission is to kill Cardia to fulfill his destiny as a disciple of Idea. Finis is getting a lot more annoying. |

| Saint Germain needs more screen time but glad that Cardia isn't (that much) like most of the heroines of otome-game-based anime; she started off quite plain (which kinda fitted the plot), but she's getting some character development now |
| Cardia was probably the best out of this episode... I'm so sorry but it really feels like I didn't enjoy this episode as the previous ones. From experience I know it is bad to compare the anime to the VN but I was a lot more excited during the game. Eventhough the time you reached Lupin's route you know most of the story every second isa trhill. I didn't feel it with this episode. It was still alright but lacking something important (and I don't even know what, it's just my feeling...). I really hope it gets better next time. The ending of this episode wasquite promisin ^^. With Saint... However... I hate Finis. Even more than in the game. There I had at least a tiny bit of sympathy for him (just very, very tiny!). |

| Looks like things are starting to get real then with Twilight at last making their love. Its nice to see the rest of the group worry so much about Cardia though. So this is how the siege began then a coup sponsored by Twilight. So key to this mystery lies within the enemies heavy fortified base then. So apart from Twilight there's also one other organisation that acts in the shadows that oppose them then. Idea sure was an interesting name. The palace sure fell quickly to the traitors from within. Code Realize is a doomsday plan for the world huh. I guess England was just the first step of that plan. Man Finis is determined to have Cadia be the destroyer though. But this sure was an action packed episode. Coups do indeed create strange alliances after all. |

So that is compressed to 20 minutes in the anime. A whole playthrough without skipping would take around 11 to 13 hours depending on speed of reading. Until now the anime has covered... I think until the 9th chapter? That is with lots of skipped info and scenes. |

Sorry for the bump. As mentioned above the anime let out a lot of things that were important to understand why Van didn't shoot there. There were several instances it should've been hinted as well but for some reason they left out that "mystery". Not sure if they'll hint towards it later in the anime.. But it should've been mentioned in at least the following scenes: - When Cardia went to look in Isaac's archive after winning the documents. - Resurface of Finis in the last couple of episodes. |

| This has really been shaping up the past couple of episodes. I haven't been this invested in a reverse harem storyline since Hakuouki. Yuki Kaji's performance is so on point with Finis's treachery. |

| The revolution arc could have been interesting and dark, but actually its just boring. The only good thing is real London buildings, like Tower Bridge, with good detail. |
