 A Twitter account has launched and officially announced that Kengan Ashura manga series will get an anime adaptation. It previously won a fan contest held by Ura Sunday to determine which manga should be adapted into anime. Kengan Ashura is written by Yabako Sandrovich and is illustrated by Daromeon. It began serialization in Shogakukan's Ura Sunday magazine in April 2012. A total of 22 volumes have been released, with the latest went on sale this October. The manga series also won the 100-Mannin ga Erabu Omoshiroi WEB Comic wa Kore da! (This is the Web Manga That is Really Interesting Chosen by One Million People!) 2018 award under the male category this November.
