I'm just your run-of-the-mill Mecha fan with some slice of life on the side. I have this pretty strong aversion against the mainstream, in part because they tend to be terrifyingly long (eg. One Piece) or they seem overblown (eg. SAO). As a result, I have not seen a lot of shows most people would consider "everyone's seen it".

A lot of the things I like are older, relatively more obscure stuff as you probably noticed from some of my favorites; 90s Super Robot mecha shows such as Getter Robo Armageddon or GaoGaiGar, or 80s era Shonen Jump fare such as Saint Seiya (I came from a place where it actually has Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon levels of recognition, I saw it in my childhood so yeah.), Hokuto no Ken or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (A personal favorite.)

Currently I have a personal goal to watch all the Gundam series in release order up to Victory Gundam by the end of the year, with a stretch goal to G Gundam; I've just started ZZ, so I've still got bit ahead of me, but then again I've still got a while so fingers crossed!
