| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally, about time Karin counterattacked. That eyepatch guy was a disgusting freak. Touta is back too and puts up quite a fight even though he's still outmatched. I guess he did prove himself though. A pretty heavy action paced this chapter. For one thing, Touta showed a lot of his potential and result of his training. Touta vs Kaito turned out to be more entertaining than I had expected especially that arm wrestling contest. |

| That was hard to watch. The powerless standing up to the powerful and not get instantly killed, the lets not kill you right now and just have a dialog, the arrogance, the OP power randomly manifesting, the hold back your power until you have to use them (she must be a masochist), the let’s use your full name all the time when referencing someone, tropes. The only thing this episode was lacking was the engine yelling. |

| Bruh, this episode finished so fast. Jeez. I was enjoying it so much. Glad Evangeline appeared and saved the town with her ice power. Badfuckingass. <3 That fucking pervert licking Karin. Eww. Disgusting. Jesus. Glad Karin got what he deserved and beat up by Karin. Fuck that guy, maan. At least, we got a brief backstory of Karin. Touta is okay and apparently he inherited that dark magic which is the cause of an immortality from Evangeline and it's called Magia Erebea. And according to the blind immortal hunter, there are only 2 "monsters" who possessed that power: Evangeline and probably that white-haired guy. Now, there's three because of Touta. Touta and that werewolf ended their fight with arm wrestling, and he won. Hahahaha. Touta caught Karin smiling and called her cute, and Karin beat him up with her big-ass hammer. Lmfao. Whatever that thing is called. Great episode. Love the comedy and the action scenes. Haha. 5/5. |

| A good episode even though the part about the clash between Touta and his opponent is a bit too low, taking back some other canons seen in other shounen. Instead Karin's counterattack was really exciting. Overall the narration has been quite bloody and has not spared the dramatic moments, but has also been very comical at certain times. |

| Pleasantly surprised to see they seem to be fixing a lot of the issues that plagued the manga, or at least patched them up a bit. The anime's pace doesn't feel anywhere near as rushed, thankfully. The manga hyperdrives like crazy through the power levels, but the exclusion of Karin's second fight helped mitigate the feelings of "Fuck this has escalated quickly" that the manga suffers from even still. Would've enjoyed seeing it animated, and we're missing out on how strong Nagumo is, but I think it was overall worth the sacrifice. |

I'd like to believe it's a conscious choice to not throw in someone so strong so suddenly and mitigate the manga's hilariously fast jumps in power levels, but the cynic in me says it probably was just for time and budget. |

| It was satisfying seeing Karin put that pervert in his place. Touta was badass with Magia Erebea. Dat Negi cameo tho! Dat ending with Fate has me hyped! Some rushing and skipping but I still enjoyed this episode. |

| Torture and destruction scenes are made even more obnoxious when the villains are maniacally laughing or being a freak through them. It's like—just get this shit over with, and get back to the story already. The second half of this episode, for me, was more entertaining than the first. It's still generally a good show, though. This episode in particular just kinda pissed me off. At least Touta got an upgrade. That was cool. |

| This is way more rushed than I thought....... So the next episode might gonna adapted the whole Touta, Eva and Fate fight in the whole episode 6 while rushing the battle like in this episode??? Seriously did Akamatsu offended the anime staff teams or what? Why is ALMOST every anime adaptation of Akamatsu's works are always like this??? (Though this one is a lot better than most of his previous anime adaptation, but not that much.) It's still following the manga but there's at least 60% of the fight was skipped either because the scriptwriter have no idea how to adapting the whole fight or Akamatsu think this is unnecessary so he want the plots being rushed. (Or Akamatsu's horrible anime adaptation curse that has been happening even since 2002) Edit: I'm just now noticed the next episode's title name and it's seem like they will gonna reveal Kuromaru's gender and his opinion on whatever he want to become a guy or girl in the end. |

| This episode is not rush at all. If the production packed exact samething in manga to this episode, then its rush. Plus this episode did follow the manga, its just that other fight scene never added, both this episode & manga chapter do lead to the same final outcome. Basically Nagumo fights, Karin on moon and soldiers appearing are just extra to begin with, the outcome never change much. Of course its sad those never added, but for an shonen anime version this episode is pretty legit like all other shonen anime. To begin with the purpose of anime is for the fans to see their favourite work to "move" in front of them, the story is just second to that. So in the end asking anime follow everything on the manga is a luxury. The other way around if you watch this show without reading the manga, this episode is fine really. Btw seeing Karin getting torture giving me a boner, I'm seriously depraved am I? |

Anyway If you are talking about the next arc I will 1st assume Kirie's appearance+tower so I don't think Karin on the moon is nessesary, because they just need to pick another reason to go to the tower thats all. |

| Whoever did the key animation of this episode is a genius without a doubt, made me love this anime even more and more, though I hope they don't go low in the other episodes. |
| The fighting was pretty good, even though the random powerup was a bit too convenient. Also they were way too buddy-friendly with those guys who killed some of their men... and of course they escaped -_- |
