| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was really melacholic. Even the music really matches the feel of the show from the first episode. Personally, it was alright. We got intro of the main characters in a typical school setting with some light drama (at the moment). It seems this anime has the usual slice of life/school norms. Even twitter... I'm expecting these main characters' to intersect in this story with relationship angles. Mostly interested in seeing how they plan to adapt Mio's character. There's some baseball from this episode so maybe we'll get to see how the show will focus on the sport. |

| So far this looked pretty nice tho the relationships seem a bit strange for the time being and with that i mean the relationships towards the transfer student. He isn't a student yet but it seems he already knows a few people, or better said they know him. Also that girl from the photography club was funny with the way she reacted. |

| watched this for Strangestone's design and apparently it's Yanaginagi's first venture as the BGM guy, totally didn't disappoint on that front. |
| I'm not sure about this series yet. It will need more character development to see if this anime will be good or not. Pretty depressing environment but the MC doesn't seems as someone who will bring changes at the moment. |

| Pretty slow paced but nice nevertheless. Atmosphere does feel heavy because of the dull color palette. Characters seem decent and the relationship development should be nice to watch. Music was definitely the strongest point. |

| It was decent but indeed quite slow. For the first time I came to know what actually happens to a transfer student before his first class. Usually such SOL animes starts with the introduction of the transfer student in the class. |

| I was so weirded out with its animation quality. And what's up with the late reactions of the characters like you have to count for like 3 seconds before they react after being made fun of or something, like that guy blocking the door. Lmao. The inconsistency and mishaps with the animation bothered the hell outta me especially with their faces and actions. It was a very boring first episode. Idk how many times I yawned throughout this episode. I think the only significant that happened here is yeah there's a new boring transfer student. That's it. Lol. Heck, it's too early to judge this show, but this first episode was really boring. I hope this gets better in the later episodes. |

| They started from 3rd Semester, right? I guess they will pull up some episodes for backstory. Overall the first episode is kinda OK (really slow paced, I like it that way). Looking at Natsume doesn't make me feel that cares much about Izumi. The relationship part is kinda confusing me right now. Hoping this end up being a great original series. |

| There is something wrong with the show when i have zero motivation to watch another episode after the first one. I usually give a very show im remotely interested in atleast 3 episodes before i drop but i dont think i can force myself to sit through even one more episode. This show is simply boring. Pass! |

| nice first episode, I like the atmosphere, and the set up tho.. just from 2-man baseball it can connect so many people there.. always interesting to follow an original anime, it might end up being amazing like tsuki ga kirei last time.. or it can be a miss.. but I'll keep my hopes up on this |

| Well, not much happened but we got all the major characters I guess? Izumi kinda looks like Tooru from Hitsugi no Chaika. I always found these Japanese upside down trains weird lol. Anyway, it's from the same studio who did Gamers! but an original so the art is kinda similar. I wonder what they'll do with this. I'll probably stick around seeing that this is the first show I picked up this season lmao and I need my romance fix. |

| I think the best word to describe this so far is 'quiet'. The muddy colour palette, the lack of music for the most part and the actions of the characters are giving me a really melancholy vibe. I'm still kind of unsure on my opinion though. The background art is gorgeous and I can feel this being more of a slow burn show. I think I can pretty much predict what kind of story this will be, since it reminds me a lot of the works of Makoto Shinkai and maybe Yamada Naoko, but I'll stick with it to see if I'm right |
| I have to admit that I really didn't enjoy Tsuki ga Kirei and dropped it quickly. This seems much more promising, with some interesting characters and a lot of potential for solid storylines. I don't mind that it's slow, just as long as there's enough to keep me interested. Plus, I enjoy its melancholic side...it feels right in terms of the specific setting. I'll definitely keep watching to see what's next. |
| I don't know how it will turn out but I loved the pace and mood of this first episode. Two guys meeting again around a bat and a ball, nobody around but a young photographer and far far away ... a girl cheering with her trumpet. Things gets serious. Fast pitch. Home run. Boy will go ask the trumpet girl out. Epic! and you know what ? "Natsume is here!" And we have high schoolers who speaks almost like high schoolers (voice acting is gooood) and ... it looks like it's not a shit MC for once. Fuck yes! I'm in! Really looking forward! Hope I won't be disappointed. |

| It felt like an OK start for a school anime. I like the consistent melancholic tone it has. I'd give this three episode before deciding to drop or put on hold. I have a feeling the Izumi guy is gonna get his own harem. Mio kinda knows him, Photography club girl will probably make him join the photography club, Trumpet girl has eyes on him. IDK I have this feeling. The band part gave me some HIbike Euphonium vibes so hopefully this anime might be as good as it or just a bit below. This is probably the only anime I'm watching this season, might pick up Black Clover or just binge watch anime I dropped or have On-Hold |
