| Got to see the lovely Hojo again, I'm happy. But man, so good to have this series back in a glorious season 3. I marathoned the manga so I know what's to come but boy oh boy seeing it animated makes me feel the amount of litness about to go down. |

| they really just goes straight from OVA and give it 1 minute recap lol the opening shows a lot, this season going to be fast paced packed with matches. probably going to end just before the big trip to the current manga arc. nano.ripe voice really annoy the shit outta me, she sounds like dying hamster. |

| The new queen is here They should've just started with the E10 real time introduction instead of that short recap, would've been better than to put in an OVA, OVAs should be for side content only. Otherwise episode was fine, visuals looking clean. It's really too bad they had to change Erina's VA, this is the season where Erina gets characterization and backstory.  |
| Aw, I didn't get to watch the OVA that focused on the first-years meeting the Elite Ten beforehand, but at least there was a quick recap. (I'm glad I follow the manga.) From the opening animation, they might cover more material than I expected. I wonder if this will be a full season (24 episodes). I prefer the series picking up right where it last left off so this was good. |

| My favorite cooking series is officially back once again! As a manga reader, I'm so looking forward to see more of my upcoming favorite scenes to get animated. So the seasons went straight to the Moon Festival arc after the OVA episode meeting with the Elite 10. Those Chinese food looked delicious by Kuga, one of my favorite secondary male character. Rindou also looks so pretty as always like in the manga. Erina's new VA is doing fine job so far for actually trying to act like how Taneda Risa performed in the previous seasons. I still miss her a lot though. Loved that little Souma x Erina moment in the new Opening theme. |

| Didn't realize there was an OVA (doesn't matter much as I've read the manga), but I'm now totally HYPED that Rindou is voiced by Shizuka Itou and Eishi is voiced by Akira Ishida. Man The Elite 10 is filled with an all my Favorites Seiyuus Eishi -> Akira Ishida Rindou -> Shizuka Itou Momo -> Kugimiya Rie Eizan -> Tomokazu Sugita Nene -> Kana Hanazawa Kuga -> Kaji Yuki Too bad Saitou and Megishima has no one behind them yet. And while I'm still on topic with Seiyuu, Yeah gonna miss Risa Taneda, but Kanemoto Hisako did a good job, the difference was hardly noticeable and she already nailed the ojou-sama act. |

| It was a bit different than S2 it didn't have much impact and the atmosphere was really different, It would have been awesome if it was like S2. | So happy to have this show air again! Dinner time just got a whole lot better. I pray this show adapts the entire manga series, taking as many episodes as needed without cutting anything out...though that's just my wishful thinking. Was hoping Risa Taneda would reprise her role as Nakiri Erina after hearing that she was coming back to voice acting, ever since she took a hiatus due to illness last year. But I'd rather she recover 100% and back on her feet before coming back for any roles...we've lost too many great talents these past few years as it is, and I'd rather not see anymore of heaven's gifts die young. Hisako Kanemoto is doing a pretty good job as Erina, though Risa Taneda set the bar pretty high so it feels like she's only nailing just above 80% there, with the remaining % lacking all the little nuances. Though it's far better than say most English dubs that cast people that sound nothing alike their Japanese counterparts. I guess I'm just going to need some time getting used to Hisako Kanemoto's portrayal. |

| I'm glad to have watching the second OVA of Ni no Sara before starting this, since, otherwise, I wouldn't had any clue of what happened at the beginning (I know they showed the most important parts, but still). Souma is such a reckless guy, the dude actually wanted to challenge Kuga even when he is a very strong opponent, cannot wait to see what trick Souma will pull to steal his clients. The Ten Seats (well, the ones who weren't introduced in the previous two seasons at least) are pretty cool characters. Kuga, Rindou and Tsukasa especially (I love how Tsukasa looks like an stoic bishie at least, but then he is much more nervous of what he appears, what a man). Cannot wait to see more of them. Also, Erina's new voice is actually good. |

| So happy to have this back. We're already back into the fire by the end of this episode. Soma's school career is on the line, so this ought to be really exciting. I forgot that Erina has a new voice actress. I can't remember why the other one left though. I hardly noticed, so it seems like a solid casting. It's always nice to see sexy Hojo too. Praying this is 24 episodes! |

| For anyone curious, OVA 2 of the Ni no Sara OVAs was translated today right AFTER the first episode was subbed. Make sure to watch that first. Good first episode, all ready fairly confident that it will be better than season 2. |

| Always happy to see food porn back, sucks it got shafted to the weekday ,kinda was wondering why it felt like i was missing out on some context thought those OVA's were taking place later in the manga so i put them off turns out they were leading into season 3 ! lolwhat oh well at least i can watch them now. hm i thought erina voice actor would be back for S3 guess not she did sound noticeable different when she was annoyed was thinking my mind was playing tricks on me |

| Pretty awkward beginning considering that most people haven’t watched the OVA that introduced the elite ten. Souma’s Pretty ambitious trying to beat a member of the elite ten with their own style. I loved that final face.  |

| I missed the fuck out of this show.....At least we have a proper and GOOD representation of WSJ unlike Trash Clover/The Adventures of Great Value Naruto The hype for this charge on the Elite 10 was always glaring down on me, so to finally see it animated has been a dream of mine for a while now, and THANK GOD this is going to be 2 cours long too I'm very impressed with the new members that we saw too and especially with Kuga and his society, so I can't wait to see Souma compete against him and hopefully beat his ass Great start to the new season, and I really liked the OP and ED too |

| Wow, that felt rushed as all hell. Also, shitty move JC Staff, putting semi important plot stuff in OVAs noone knew about. Doesn't affect me much since I read the manga but that opening still felt super off and anime/TV onlies must be super confused. |

| Megumi's back :D Hope the rest of the season stays awesome like this ep, the pacing was excellent. The Chinese theme alone makes this cour - should be interesting to see how Souma interprets Sichuan cuisine, would die to see some la mien or even hotpot! *it sucks how eng subs for OVA 4 were delayed until literally yesterday/today; I feel like i've missed half of this episode. |

| A solid first episode, it's gotten me interested in Food Wars again. Glad I didn't have to rewatch the end of Season 2 to understand it - it still made sense. This episode was all about showing off the eccentric characters of the elite 10. At least none of them see to be total assholes - those kinds of characters are always the most boring and predictable. The Chinese cuisine guy's army of cyborg slap-heads is a bit weird. Why would that many people shave their heads and work in complete perfect timing for some high school student? His family must be loaded. The fact that he didn't make those dishes himself made it a lot less impressive. The ecchi undertones were present as ever. Lots of camera angles conveniently facing thighs, and of course we got manservice from the friendly elite 10 guy. It still doesn't abstract the plot, I kinda look forward to seeing the comedic foodgasms again. Erina's voice is of course being provided by someone else. Taneda-san is recovered now but I suppose she's had to give up her role. Oh well, new voice sounds fine to me. OP was pretty solid. I'm sure the song will become catchy to me soon, it's definitely one of the better ZAQ anime songs. The ED was unimpressive, though. The nano.RIPE song seems fine enough, but the video is mostly just using existing footage from the anime with some filters over it. That's quite lazy, J.C.Staff. You shouldn't get your hopes up for that. It'll probably be just one cour like Ni no Sara, or 2 cours at most. |
