THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
So the finale served more as an epilogue after the final battle and Altair's farewell. Very expected imo as everyone says their goodbyes. Hell, Souta even got slightly emotional. Oh and Yuya is better now and his friendship with Shou seems much better now.

Honestly, I think the finale is fine but underwhelming. Very lighthearted obviously although I didn't find the comedy entertaining much (always felt the humor of this show was pretty dry).

Well, all ended as predicted. Nothing new, nothing changed, nothing happened. Altair and Setsuna fleed the existence of the world. Unfit final for the whole show progression, all the deaths, fights, tears, a waste. And Magane? No comments.

I give my viewpoint in my review. All is explained there so if you have some minutes read it. Hope that will help you to see several good and bad aspects of the series.

9/10, never watching again, and I'm happy that she stayed, it made sense since her god is dead and her story can't be continued. If there's a season2, which I doubt, I'll watch it.

Good ending, glad they used the final episode to wrap up most loose ends instead of rushing an ending.

Aftermath ending as expected, still a very nice one at that.

Looks like all the characters except Meteora returned to their own world, I like each of them said their goodbyes to the group and their creators in their own way. That was really nice.

That drawing Sota made at the end was really sweet. :)
Surprised they never showed Magane in the finale.

Overall, this was quite a good show. The action was excellent and the soundtrack was top notch as well. The premise of the story was intriguing and the progression was handled decently enough if I had to pick out something I'd say that the build up phases of the show lasted far too long that it kinda seemed to drag on. That being said, these final few episodes were fantastic and easily the best episodes of the series. The characters were entertaining this enough but Sota wasn't all that likable until the latter half of the series. I do think that the premise of the story could've been done better or in a different way but this was still good.

7/10
Looking forward to Vogelchevalier Season 2 this winter. XD

So is over. :( :(
This anime was so amazing, a masterpiece. I love it.. Now I'm a little sad that I will not be able to see Altair again :( :( I really hope they will make a new season..I want to know to know what happened with Magane. Probably she also lost her powers like Meteora, but ... no one knows. Also I'll love to see the world Altair and Setsuna will create ..
Anyway Re:CREATORS is now in my top 2 fav anime of all time

I think out of everything that happened from the start until now, Meteora being the only one to stay in the real world makes a lot of sense

I really enjoyed seeing all of remaining characters get closure both with themselves, their stories and their creators and vice versa and I honestly wish them all the best because they did all of this in such an organic way that it all flowed so well (Mostly the parts with Yuuya)

I also think that Alicetaria's creator deserved that reward after everything he's been through in addition to how tortured Alicetaria ended up becoming straight up to her noble end (Although I'd say that Selesia's sacrifice was more impactful)

Lastly, I'm happy that Sota managed to move on with his life and create a story himself but even more so, I thought it was pretty cool to see that Meteora decided to become a writer and ended up calling her first book Re:Creators

Overall this was my favorite thing to watch both in the spring and this summer (Excluding Hero Academia) and I'm really gonna miss everything about it

I enjoyed it so much. Good action and good soundtrack. Don't know what happened with Magane as I never saw her in this episode, and the drawing of her doesn't count. :P

All the Creations returned to their respective fictional worlds except for Meteora who cannot go back. Meteora stayed, and this made me happy.. xP I like Meteora too. <3

Despite some flaws this is still one of my favorite anime. I would be more than glad to re-watch this series though. :)

There's a lot going on in this episode for an epilogue, I hope to see more content later down the line to flesh out the world and the characters. It was very emotional. This one is a little special for me so I'll give it a 9.

A good finale. Everyone had their closure. Though I'm surprised they have not shown Magane. Meteora not able to go back make sense after her explanation and it' cool that she decided to to become an author with Re:Creators being her first work. Souta drawing in end was good. Glad he didn't give up his drawing.

8/10 from me. Really enjoyed it and I'm satisfied with the way it ended.

I don't know what to say. I really love this anime, its concept and the relationship between characters.

It's sad that all the creation has to return to their world and we don't kown what happend to tha characters that have died.

Meteora and Magane (even though wa don't kown what happened to her) remain in the real world.

This series had very good ideas and good points, but also weak points. If it have had more episode, it could be better developed. But as a whole, it was entertaining, touching and emotional.

I also want to know what happened to Altair and Setsuna (her existence is like that of Souma Sumire in Sagrada Reset).

This anime is like an "intrahistoria". We have main characters and antagonist from different stories, but in this story they are supporting characters, but all of them was important.

I'd like an oav for each story...

Yup, that confirms that she was only there to explain why Souta's idea worked nothing more. The authors didn't even consider her a secondary character. What a waste of background.

Clearly the best part was the anime coming out...starring Mamika and Alicetaria together! That was so unexpected but a great touch :)

Blitz Talker and Suruga convo even if short (wished they would have given the same time they gave the individuals right before that scene) once again pretty awesome, it oozes coolness and determination from both parties.

Magane getting NO screentime in the finale (she was the one who made this ending happen btw), that's really odd, i was waiting for her appearance.

In the end, it's a meta story which is just fine but not where i wanted the anime to go. Nevertheless, it was for the most part pretty entertaining.

Ha! I knew Meteora will pick "Re:Creators" as title for her story.

When anime started I thought this gonna be "slice of life" series with some action and drama... The first ending give me such impression with scenes like characters on festival or on beach.
Well... I think I would prefer Re:Creators as slice of life series, than this what we got...
First part was pretty good, but second... eh... this was too much for me.
I feel like all arrangements to fight with Altar, all these deaths... were pointless and waste of time, when they "beat her" just because she meet her creator and talk with her.
Also... after all these Altar get "happy end"? Eh... -.-
And did I missed something? What happen with Magane? O.o

This wasn't totally bad series.
I really liked idea, characters and relationships between them, animation and music was really good, love opening themes and soundtrack *.*
There was lot of seiyuus I like and story was good until second part when this whole final fight with Altair started -.-

I found that the series ended on a good note. My only concern is that we got a missing Magane? So does that mean an OVA centered around her or did I miss something when Shimazaki was summoned? To be honest, I was expecting her to kill Sota in the end lol XD JK (to a certain extent :P )

Pretty fun anime overall.

Mamika and Alice ;_; So they'll be able to meet again, huh?

I liked how they dedicated a full episode to the goodbyes. It was nice that they weren't forceful or sappy either, it really suited a lotta the character's personalities.
Well, I guess aside from Blitz, but I guess it's not too far outta the realm of possibility to think that he may have came to accept his position as a creation.

Hahaha liked that part of killing Souta. The OVA isn't worth the time, they don't have any background for it unless that it is before the fight or about Meteora and Magane's normal life. But considering that the authors didn't give Magane screening time, in the end, we can't expect that.

The lack of Altair and Magane for the finale was really upsetting. I'll give it a generous 7/10. The soundtrack and animation alone deserve a high rating + the story and characters were well written.

5/10 - Wasted potential. It really feeled that creators didn't have any idea what to do next, after they killed Mamika.

That was a really satisfying and emotional conclusion. The farewell scenes were handled really well, and I'm glad Meteora was the only one who stayed, it makes the most sense.

On the whole I loved this show from start to finish and I'm gonna miss it a lot. It undeniably has some issues, but it takes a really cool conept and expands upon it brilliantly, which I guess is why I was still thoroughly engaged during the exposition parts. The characters were not anything special, but it's fine as the show isn't really a character piece, and all of them were fun, likeable and easy to care for, especially Meteora and Souta. 8/10 for me

The series was fun. Though it had some issues. I wondered what happened to Magane. Then it came to Souta's character. Then later Aliceteria being such a hot head, that she would not listen to reason. Aside from certain personal issues I had for my own. I still had my fun. The music, action, along with certain info was pretty cool. My score is a 7/10. A fun series with a somewhat of a simple plot, but it came out nice for me to the very end.

I kinda liked this final episode more than the last episode. This episode was something that at least calmed me down abit(dammit that ghost!) but still I cannot easily recommend this show to everyone. Also the most interesting villain Magane was entirely forgotten in the last episode(well she is still killing out people in the way).

Ironically The first half was incredible and amazing honestly! but after the recap(or you could say when new OP started) the show was feeling a less entertaining, which means less interesting and more ranting(fillerish dialogue) appeared. bTW, too many somewhat major plotholes still not yet explored or explained explicitly which is why I am somewhat dissapointed :\ although I don't care plothole in a anime that much but this went too far!

At the end, this show serve as the best example of hit-or-miss show for me. Just why... the second half went like this? I guess they tried to make satisfactory ending.

I do think more death of those fictional characters could make this show more tasty(2 wasn't enough). I don't know if extending from 22-> 24 episode would still could go that great.

Well the ending was pretty satisfying in the end. Gave most of the characters proper closures and the ending was rather bitter sweet overall. But it was nice seeing the aftermath which was pretty neat of course.

Overall, I don't think this series is amazing, and if I have to take my bias away I would give it around an 7/10. But you know, this is the type of show that made me question a lot of things on my end... its nice that a show does that for me personally. Not like I'm an aspiring writer or anything (I'm not), but it's more of a wonder thought with this entire direction and seeing the creators and the creations interacting and seeing the fact that they're more than just entertainment.

Given that this is kind of why I like the medium, sure. When something touches more than just entertainment for a person's end it becomes so much more than that honestly. And that's what I really like about it.

In the end I might lower my score a bit but I'll give it around an 9/10. I'll probably lower it to an 8 depending on my mood etc. But we'll have to see.

Compared to Aldnoah:Zero (I heard it was from the same people/studio) this was pretty weak. But the last episode was nice - a lot better than for Aldnoah.

There were too many characters and the plot wasn't that interesting - especially the stuff with Altair near the end.

Interaction between Creators and Creations was nice and the interaction among the Creators. That's also a reason I liked the last episode - where we got a lot of this.

Well it was your fairly typical epilogue finale, with emotional goodbyes and everyone parting ways. I liked seeing the Creations interacting with their Creators one last time. Meteora is the only one that stayed, and I thought it was cool that the obligatory title drop came in the form of her first novel's name. Looks like Souta also found more inspiration to keep creating.

Overall the finale did a good job tying up the loose ends and bringing closure to the story. My biggest complaint though, as others have already pointed out, is that they didn't include Magane. Like come on, not even a quick shot of her to see where she is and what she's doing? It's a shame too because I really liked her, personally.

Anyway, the show as a whole wasn't good, but I didn't think it was bad either. It could improve in some places, but it was pretty decent all around, with the action in the last few episodes being the highlight of the show. 6/10.

It was a positive wrap up for this series. No deus ex bs with our favorite knights and magi-girls coming back. All the characters getting to return to their respective stories, bar Magane (where'd she go?) and Meteora for obvious reasons. The goodbyes weren't cheesy either. I especially loved that deadly spark between Blitz and Suruga right before he left with Erina.

This last episode was like an ode to all content creators, a bit of a pat on the back for all their years of service and an encouragement to all those new to the industry. It felt nice to see such a positive message being presented.

Definitely better than Aldnoah. At least this one was coherent and watchable from start till end.

Decent finale. Everyone said goodbye to their creations. That was a good scene. Didn't see Magane in this episode. Meteora stayed behind in the real world to write stories. It makes sense why. Sota's drawing of everyone is pretty good. This was a decent show. The action and soundtrack was awesome though. 6/10

The final episode is good but also predictable.

Fictional characters who haven't died beforehand, go into their respective universes. Makes sense. Yuuya and Shou want to kill their archenemy. Rui wants to help his friends. Hikayu goes back to her boyfriend and to become a superheroine in a skimpy outfit. Blitz goes with her daughter to their cyberpunk reality to live life they're supposed to (by their merciless writer Suruga). Magane probably loses her powers and prepares to live seemingly normal life (after acquiring a lot of dough). I don't really understand what Aki Kikuchihara is doing. Mizushino overcomes his drawing anxiety thanks to Magane and a bit of his work. Altair and Setsuna live somewhere, creating. Other creators will keep working and conceiving new stuff.

Alicetaria, Mamika, Selesia and Charon will live in their worlds and move forward, not remembering what had happened with them in ours. It looks like some companies are connecting Alicetaria's and Mamika's worlds together, for some time. I wonder who's going to help whom. From what we saw, it is probably Mamika helping Alicetaria (her world is definitely harsher and needs immediate support).

I didn't expect Meteora to able to bring everyone else back. I thought it was only possible for her to get someone to our world and not the other way around. Her powers were definitely immense. I still don't know if Hoshikawa was transported by Altair or just had spontaneously appeared in episode 14.

The person I wanted to stay - Meteora, is really staying!! That's fantastic, wonderful!!
I've hoped for a few episodes, that she would become a creator herself, especially after Altair became one. My prediction was wrong however, as I thought she would become game developer (she may still do that in the future).

Souta's newest drawing at the end of the episode looks like it was done on paper which is strange, as he usually draws on his tablet. It shows that he feels a strong connection to creations he has met, even including Charon and Magane (who kills people for fun btw).

Who is Magane?, ah Magane the filler that was added to explain Souta's idea. I am thinking like the writers "since Magane killed her creator that's what she gets." Maybe Altair killed her, and none found the body.

I am upset like most of us. Magane at least deserved 2 seconds of screening time.
