| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not bad this episode. We got to the quiz competitions right away and everyone is trying their best to answer the questions. I like Fukami's confidence as she answered her questions. Gakuto stood out again as the most intimidating of these players. Pretty tense episode! |

| Fukami did great. If she wasn't distracted in the beginning, she could have won. Gakuto didn't give the other contestant a chance. They were all internally begging him to subtract points from themselves to prove that they are some sort of a threat to him. |

| Gakuto did really well in round three. He finished in first place so quickly. When that one guy called him an ex-Kaijo kid, Mari couldn't concentrate for a bit. She was wondering if he knows the real reason why her brother quit quiz bowl. With more confidence, she kept on going. She didn't win, but she did her best. |

| Gakuto kept it short and sweet, what a beast. I was really hoping for a big comeback victory for Fukami but she fell short. She definitely would have succeeded if she didn't lose her concentration. |
| People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol. |

| Sasajima is OP, he wrecked everyone else. Was really nice to see Fukami to try and pass the round, too bad she failed. :( Koshiyama finally takes on Mikuriya next episode, looking forward to this. |

| Wow just wow this was such an amazing episode, i enjoyed it soooo much, even forgot i was watching the same anime. OH for sure the best episode so far. Senpai is toooooooooooo cool and OP, man he just NAILED his competition. Knew all 12 apostles? is there anything this guy doesnt know? And then his past was so well done, starting with how someone called him out going to another school and then his team asking if its true and another person joining in the conversation and telling them about his brother and how Mari-chan started the quiz because of him and how something happened that made them quiz the team to Mari-chan thinking about it instead of thinking of her own quiz. Just great execution.. Anyway another props to OP Sasajima. He also handled the situations so well. "There was no need or opportunity to bring his past up" Mari-chan's battle was pretty emotional. I was rooting for her, for the first time i rooted for someone in this anime, i like how she approached each question and how she buzzing the buzzer. But then she lost T_T that was actually a great moment. |

It does seem like a silly move but I think of it like pro athletes with their die-hard superstitions and personal rituals. It's been scientifically proven that such things can improve a person's performance despite the fact that it changes nothing but their mindset. So for Fukami-san, I think it's not that she can't hear because of her hair, it's that she learned the move from watching her big brother and it's become a ritual that helps her concentrate and get serious. |

| Sasajima Gakuto proves that he's still very OP! looks like the rivalry of Gakuto and Fukami's big brother is really a complicated one! such bitterness Fukami lost but she tried and the other boys was captivated by Fukami's tears! next episode we finally get to see the rivalry of Koshiyama & Mikuriya! 4/5. |
