Hmm, we got some tough guys hanging out at the restaurant this episode with beers. I almost feel like this episode was about them more than anything else for their moments.

Interesting to see some characters from the desert side of a fantasy world come there too. I just find it really interesting that all sort of characters exist in the show.

Yum, ice cream..

As usual my only complaint about this episode is that it was over way too fast.
I want more.

The part with the dwarfs was funny and they certainly liked their booze they where drinking a lot and enjoyed the food.
It's funny they keep the door in a vault tho.

Also the shy prince was nice as well tho it's clear his sister was more in control of the situation than he was.

I found this episode to be more enjoyable than the others for some reason. Fairies next episode.

The dwarfs sure enjoyed their time.

I kinda felt a sense of pride during the Dwarves part because of how well they talked about our cuisines and alcohol lol

Kinda feel this was one of the more entertaining episodes, mostly due to the dwarves.

It was honestly just the little things that made it entertaining for me, like how giddy and far more excited they were about the food. They also came off as really broad-minded compared to some of the other regulars.
Let's also not forget how their legs didn't reach the floor and how they kept swinging them over their excitement which was oddly... adorable. lol
Also, I love seafood so that was a plus from me.

Second half was a bit cute too, what with how awkward that prince was when it came to Adelheid. At least his sister's got his back and was a pretty good wingman. If only he just had a bit more courage.

It was nice to see the dwarfs enjoying beer and seafood. They really liked it. It's pretty cool they built a cabin around the door. Shareef has a crush on Adelheid. He's too shy to talk to her.

The Dwarfs sure like their seafood. I would like to see a guest try more than one dish at some point though.

It was interesting to see the restaurant having an impact in the other world with Shareef opening up talks with the Empire because of his feelings for Adelheid.

We finally get to see the fairies next week. Looks like they will interact with the other patrons a bit. I look forward to seeing how that goes.

The dwarves were fun but the B part... Instead of focusing on their magic abilities or the culture of their country, all we got was the prince wasting our time with an awkward crush on Adelheid, whom he barely knows at all, and even now, all that happened between them was that Adelheid said hello to him. Possibly the most tedious and pointless segment in this show so far, at least for me.

The dwarves and their reactions to the food were hilarious. I hope they show up again.

We also got to see an Arabian prince who has a crush on that one princess. Looks like he could use a confidence booster.

love those dwarves. This episode felt less focused on the food especially during the latter half where a bit of little romance was going on. Hoping to see where that takes them.

Wow it does look like the Cutty Sark lol.
So I went back to get a closer look... And I think they really are going for it. Have the sail ship and the shape of that label sticker. Green bottle(though a bit common)
The name and stuff is located in the exact areas, though turned to scribble scrabble.

And this one is the exact bottle with the white neck

The second segment with the prince having a crush on the ice-cream loving princess was cute and the soda drinks looked tasty, but the dwarves really made this episode very entertaining.

Their passion and enthusiasm for their seafood, beer and whiskey was amusing, but at the same time, I felt their honest pride about the food and drink that they really loved. Their reactions to the food was probably the best out of all the guests that we've seen so far. =D

Nice episode overall, and next week's one looks to have some fairies and more focus on elves, so that looks promising. =)

Yeah, nothing here really caught my attention until the second half with the random crush on a person he's barely ever met or spoken to, at which point I just decided to tune out the episode entirely in disinterest.

It's okay for slice of life shows to be relaxed (in fact that's the point), but this has gone way beyond that and is just completely and utterly boring and tedious. Oh well, only 3 episodes left hopefully.

The two dwarves are so fucking cute. They're like kids doing that with their feet. Hihihi. Dwarves sure love beer so much. Haha. Reminds me of Gimli from LOTR. Love those fried seafood. Waaah.

The second half was pretty interesting, too.

It was an okay episode, but I still loved it because of the foods. ;-;

Them dwarfs were so fun to watch. Would love myself some seafood platter too.
Building that lodge into a semi-hostel for travelers was an ingenious idea to hide and protect the door.

The royal siblings from the Sand Kingdom were pretty cute as well. Found it funny how the little sis had to play wingman to her shy brother.

And it looks like next weeks lineup is all pointy eared species and vegan food.

This was slightly less interesting for me than usual, but it was still enjoyable.
The dwarves were somewhat amusing, and the "epilogue" of the first half showing how they upgraded the hut and made the restaurant their secret treasure was really nice.
I'm rooting for the prince, hopefully he'll grow a pair and get a happy ending.

Really looking forward to next week as I've been waiting for the fairies to be introduced + the elves get more screen time as well.

Both parts were good, but I slightly preferred the dwarves due to their drunkeness and love of seafood. The second half was a bit anti-climactic. I'm sure that story will continue.

I have been enjoying the show, it is a bit of a cross worlds cultural exchange program using food.
I only have one problem with this, or any anime that involves food. The "Haup" sound made while eating.

If you are really interested in making Japanese food, then check out my post in this forum.

Here is the url:https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1656500

The link that I just gave to your post, has 5 anime cooking sites, which, I believe, 1 or 2 of those sites have recipes from Isekai Shokudou.

Enjoy.

"Kingdom" and "Empire" are okay, but "Duchy"?
But overall - too few countries for pseudo-medieval fantasy world. Or maybe the known world is just a lot smaller than Earth, and the whole place is Japan-sized, or maybe Europe-sized. Scale is a common problem with Japanese fantasy.
