THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well they looked cute when they were young. There was still innocence. We had Angelo acting like a mother here lol. I thought that I'd never see him in the episode but he appeared. The episode felt weird actually but the art seemed better here somehow. |

Was expecting more but hey I guess it's a good thing not elaborating on ep 12's ending. I Liked the 2nd story of how the families met. The 1st was cute and the 3rd was...weird? Lol overall I realized that I've missed this |

That was a pretty good episode, I liked the 2nd story in special. |

Not really sure what the value of these 3 little special are? They don't really elaborate on the ending or add anything much to the story or characters. It was fairly entertaining but just pointless as far as adding something to 91 Days |

It was nice to know much about the early time of the story!! I like Nero when he was a young boy :) And we could know more about Angelo's father :) |

That's hardly "nothing." It also really shows the reason that Vince felt he had to kill Testa, instead of it being ambiguous. It also adds a lot of depth to each character. |

These 3 short stories were quite nice. And well, Testa pretty much dug his own grave xD |

Yeah, it also shows that Testa and Vincetti were close friends, which Day 11 just sort of expected us to accept it out of nowhere. |

I should stop wishing that maybe specials can explain the plot... I still don't know what's with Angelo. 6/10 as the whole series. |

I liked how they left the ending to the anime alone. It didn't need to be elaborated on. Getting some background was nice, but it felt boring somehow. |

Nothing too special nor bad, in short. Lol, the Op was as great as ever and the enhanced animation was good too. However, the 3 stories felt lacking. 6.8/10 |

I assumed this was gonna be an alternate ending for the anime. But like... wtf was this? Nothing happened! I thought there was potential since they started off as young kiddos and I wanted to see what happened in the past or if this had some sort of story to it, but NOPE. 4/10. I'm sorry, but this sucked and was a waste of time. |

Was expecting to to continue after ep 12 cuz open ending like that are just shit This is just basically telling us their young life, how vince and testa were close friends, how vanno had a crush on fio since childhood, how vince was setermined to be a don since the beginning, some bonding time between nero and angelo etc2 And holy shit all of that were already known by the viewers. Shit this is useless |

Okay so it seems like those who didn't like this episode didn't read MaiIsMe1's post about why this episode wasn't just "nothing". If you did read it and still thought this episode was pointless then...okay. Tbh, I thought Nero and Angelo were together again...but when Corteo showed up a few scenes after, I was like, "damn!" =( Angelo looks so much like his father. |

Interesting to see how Testa Lagusa and Vincetto Vanetti met, fraught with tension just like how their own sons first encountered each other. Like father and like son. The last part was amusing. |

"Long time ago: Lawless" In case you mistook it for Post Episode 12 time: Lawless. Young Nero and co. So Angelo's mom is really his mom. Nero broke into the drawer. smh Vincent and Ganzo meet. Dat fold. Dat mirror. Dat pic. Recently? Nero. Angelo. LMAO at Nero spitting it out. And that was the end. It was fine. |

... What a useless episode. All we see is the past of Nero, his sis, little brother and friend as kids stealing his dad's money to go to the circus instead of church along with the past of Vincent and how he got in with Gonzo and Testa and a random fuck Ocoro before he became a Don. Nero and Angelo are fine together, living out safe like poor fucks. Making Nero eggnog when he's sick from overhearing him say it's good when he wanted one as a kid in his dream of the past. What a waste of 20 minutes. I was hoping something better out of an epilogue. No wonder funimation didn't do this shit. The only good thing is that we know Angelo is alive and that they're living together. Still an open ending in the end. |

This special was presented as "Episode 13" so I was expecting a continuation of the events from ep. 12 but we had 3 different "flashback" stories instead... I'm a little dissapointed but well. I enjoyed the special overall. The second story was my favorite. It was nice to see how Vincent and Testa met. Not to mention that seeing Orco with them was kinda unexpected for me... to be honest I'd have laughed if someone told me he would become a Don in the future. Overall, as I said, I liked this special. Not what I expected but good nevertheless. And as @MaiIsMe1 had said, it wasn't pointless at all. It was nice to receive more information about the characters and their surroundings. waalex11 said: The only good thing is that we know Angelo is alive and that they're living together. It's titled as "Ep.13" but none of the stories happened after the events of ep. 12. Oh the irony~ |

But I think that's the idea of an open ending... to keep the people talking. |

The last part is def. not set after ep. 12. Avillio called Corteo and asked him how to make eggnog. That's why Corteo said "but don't buy the cheapest stuff". But Avillio did the exact opposite. :D And we see Corteo die in the main series. |

It was good that the creators did a backstory on the main characters, but it should've been on the series. They shouldn't have titled it episode 13, since myself as a fan wanted to know the outcome of episode 12. But I enjoyed the last one more, but still didn't get why Avilio didn't kill Nero in that state. So much for someone who went through a lot to avenge his family. 7/10 |

Testa has somewhat a similar personality to Barbero. I guess what Angelo had a mix of hatred and friendship on Nero, that's why he's trying to help Nero while annoying him. Which strengthen my belief that the true ending is the good ending. |

I was wondering how Testa and Vicent turned best friends. It is sad to think that, if Vincent didn't kill Angelo's family, the kids would be friends. Also, nice to see Testa was mafious too. |
