A really enjoyable first episode !! I liked the first episode it's really good and fun to watch and i think it's going to get more enjoyable later <3 , I like the characters and the animation is great too and the art is amazing as well , Tendou is so sweet and kind and what makes her special is that she's addcited to gaming and she's easy to approach i really love her body** I mean her smile xDD and She's so pretty too <3 <3 , I like Amano's character he's clumsy and kinda funny xDD , And that Takusu guy is plainly an idiot and a failure but he's hilarious lmfao and his girlfriend is a waste on him ffs , SHE'S SO ADORABLE AND CUTE AND JUST UNBEARABLE <3 <3 <3 <3 AND I REALLY LIKE HER VOICE IT'S REALLY GREAT <3 <3 .. I like the concept of this story it's cool and understandable !! ... Anyways , I think ima continue this anime and I'm really going to enjoy this because the story and the characters are good and it's a bit funny <3 , So yupp I'm ready for more <3 <3 , Looking Forward !!!! |

Drachen said: This was a pleasant surprise. For most of the episode, I really enjoyed the characters and the way things were going. The whole "gaming" theme was something I was worried they'd misuse, but so far at least I'm pretty happy with what's been shown. Karen is outright adorable, and the other characters were neat. The club itself (room included) felt comfy as hell, and if that's going to (hopefully) be the main base of operations, I'm gonna like the setting. Can't lie, though, that ending felt like a slap in the face. I don't agree with the decision to create so much positive build-up and then just throw all of that away because "muh preferred gaming style". Sure, it makes sense, but you didn't have to go that way. Plus, refusal to join the club aside, Keita was just being a dick to Karen at that point. I'm not to keen on having a male protagonist that's so socially awkward he's just blind to others' feelings. Not fun to experience. If there's a good enough recovery in the second episode, I feel confident this will be quite the enjoyable series. More of the club mates (and this mysterious gamer girl), please! Series is more Comedy than Drama easily so I really didnt think id post a 'defense' of actions comment but honestly; he didnt seem to be feeling 'comfy' just got his shit roasted verbally - she clearly realizes hes NOT comfortable with how things are progressing so she more or less gets him out for a drink and some fresh air. His reasoning isnt dickish or assholeish hes socially awkward as all hell ; has almost no real friends which doesnt help his already lack of social skills. And when he has positive feelings for it said club as he does ( i mean come on we know where this is leading by and large ) he simply felt the enviorment of comp players in an area lined with trophies where he was more or less told in person 'you suck get gud damn scrub you're just weighing me and the team down' .. If you play games to enjoy them and just play them.. not be the best not win awards or money.. you can see why he would do what he did. She simply auto assumed acceptance rather than promote who its for ALL gamers not just comp ones. Her bit on that was only after she noticed he really at that point was not feeling the comp you suck get gud environment/treatment. QuattroVaginas said: Pretty boring first episode. Need more fighting game girl. I sympathize with his reasons, but he's still a dumbass. Just keep playing your VNs and mobage in the club. Mm like I said above she did a really poor job of portraying her club in that kind of light. It really does* come off as a comp style club at first glance...and after several hours glance. Shes also not used to rejection and hes not used to acceptance so the social awkwardness doesnt help. |

Um, it was actually shown, at least in the scenes leading up to his "uh no thanks xD", that despite being grilled by the FPS-senpai, he thought he could warm up to the club. Did you miss that entire monologue and his subsequent "why did I do that?!" I'm also not sure why you're overplaying his supposed abuse within the club when literally every other member welcomed him warmly. The rude dude in question even did so towards the end, somewhat... I think it's quite apparent why he has no friends if he's going to be the sort of individual that just blindly ignores the emotions of others. I have a bit of social anxiety myself, but I must thank the heavens for having never ended up like this guy if you're going to actually claim he's so far down the road this is acceptable behavior. If he's going to be that sort of main character, that's fine, but I'm going to find him very unlikeable as a result. On a side note, you also typically don't throw away any chances you might have at making new friends unless you find yourself comfortable with your position, which I don't think he really does. He just handled the situation poorly, plain and simple. I understand his reasoning, like I said in my first post. I take the same general attitude on gaming myself, but there were easily better paths to take from there besides just blathering out a rejection. Personally, I don't find cheesy shock value after positive buildup as exciting writing. I'm sure if he had a discussion with Karen and went "hey, you know, I want to play games my way, not competitively you know?", sort of like how I anticipate his joining the club to be like, both would have been better off. Don't you think she has a little pull in how the club is handled and what sort of members she will accept? It's clear that she enjoyed spending time with him and would have done that for him. Don't put the blame on Karen. It's just a bit disappointing that we have to now sit through a second episode with this inane "misunderstanding" dominating the theme when like 90% of the first episode was leading into something nice. I would have much rather spent the next sitting getting to know this mysterious girl and fleshing out all of these club members, particularly the fighting game cutie. (Also, the comfy comment was more my personal opinion. Still, he actually seemed to like the club room.) |

Glad he declined initially to make it interesting. I'm seeing lots of comments of him being dumb, but think about it it. If you play visual novels and mobiles games for fun and get put into a room with Pro Esport players it's a totally different world. I'm surprised how the puzzle guy manages to stay because he seems casual as well, but then again I guess he just wants friends? |

Indeed I did watch the same anime you did don't worry; however his monologue didn't seem to change much when he told her how he truly felt. And she didnt help much when she didnt really portray the club as all inclusive for all skill / casual levels till she realized she was losing him. Just posting on the subject because im tired of the 'ah hes so retarded' stuff thats being said when his rational makes sense to plenty of people. And yes he 'liked' it or the concept of it ? But there were things he didn't enjoy/feel was his thing/feel comfortable with/whateverhisreasonsmaybe. But to tell me it doesnt come across as a hyper competitive club would be a bit .. dishonest haha. You say don't put the blame on her... When you are the leader of something the responsibility falls on you even more so; and she could have easily made things more clear before he even got to the room.. but didnt *shrug* I mean I guess he could have done the real cliched thing right off the bat in ep 1 (since I assume it will come) and gone "Please I love you accept me in id love to be in right now" ;) Plain and simple they both are derpy lol (And im not 'overplaying it'; if you talked down to me like that while trying to recruit me to your club; id think 'yeah.. gonna find another club or just chill with muh own games man- just to be serious - im thick skinned neough but I wouldnt want to sit around and get trashed talked for 2-3 hours every day either kinda tiring just to put a pseudo serious note there) Though as I said I already know its a comedy style series and it will all be resolved in due time and style with all laughs that come with; im "Just Sayin' " |

I understand why he didnt choose to join the club, it's like you have to try hard to win the game, for people just want to be relaxed , I used to play LOL, DOTA and i know why their community are so toxic, because they put so much effort and that cause their stresses. Honestly i like how the MC 's thought |

Honestly i like how the MC 's thought Competitive players like that feeling the toxicness is still bad. Gaming is not always about relaxing. But the best part about that seen is not his attitude but the way the game drains him. Games like that can be very taxing on you to think fast act fast and react fast. Very fun too but can take a lot out of you Sometimes in a close game you might be sweating as you body is ready. But you also get games where everything just works, and the ones where nothing does. |

I saw the title thought or DFrag and clicked play. I'm glad I checked it out, since it's entertaining so far. When he rejected the invite the first time, I expected it. I wasn't expecting the second rejection though. I almost thought that the blond girl would act out a scene from the game we saw in the beginning (the one about blond girls) just so he can get excited and join. I wonder where that banana came from? |

Nice one! another show that I enjoyed! But I didn't expect that he refused to join the gamer club! lolz! there are many types of gamers, one who is the challenging type, and another one is a gamer just for the enjoyment...as for me i'm just actually NOT a challenger type of gamer, i'm more like enjoyment type I like games that are different and I don't do bandwagon games! 4/5. End card was yummy ero 2-pc bikini while playing arcade! quite a different fetish! |

as a fellow gamer myself, gamers! really resonates with me. i love the animation. i love the characters. i love the personalities. i love the references to real life games. it has some of my favourite genres (comedy, romance, slice of life) all rolled into one little package. i don't mind the lack of plot, or plot direction right now. i'm okay with the simplicity to be honest. i can't wait for more episodes ・ω・ |

I'm surprised the MC is getting roasted by some. I thought his reasons were pretty well expressed and acceptable. Some people don't want to play games competitively. Which seems to be the main focus for the club. It isn't like he just plays VNs. There seemed to be a decent variety there from flight simulator/combat games, to sports, to standard RPGs, and even one that sort looked like Harvest Moon. He simply has his own tastes in games. Most of those can be played single player and aren't competitive types. While in his shoes I'd probably go with the club just for a place to expand his social circle of friends. I can get why he doesn't want to stick around. Not sure a grueling session of a shooter game was the best recruitment tool. If you enjoy them that can be fine, but feeling like you have to keep going and going and going can be exhausting and not very fun. Was kind of amusing anyways seeing Karen shocked at the refusals. Doesn't seem the type that is used to people turning her down. Yeah it was a serious shock to her system, but her reaction to his decision isn't his fault. He wasn't rude about it and did express his feelings pretty clearly. Not to mention she was turned down the previous day, there was no reason to believe he was going to change his mind. |

Vevca said: Lunium said: Anathor said: Nothing special tbh. The fact that the main topic are games has me interested though. Promising CS:GO player right there Actually the game they played together seems to be Call Of Duty, judging by the killstreaks on the right hand side of the screen and the fact that they're playing with controllers. The game the guy was playing solo on the PC was CS:GO though ;) M8 this is totally de_dust2's CT spawn. http://imgur.com/RHMpSXJ this is actually 0% de_dust2 CT spawn. https://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/cswikia/images/3/34/De_dust2-csgo-CT-1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140620005752 thats d2 ct spawn. The UI also doesn't fit CS at all. And the controler argument is a good point. Otherwise there would be no sense for Senpai to play with headset and mouse. So its clearly two different games. COD on console and CS on PC. |

Hmmm.. Pandering, pandering, pandering. And the school + club setting, while overly used, is being used in a rather innovative way. Besides Haganai, I can't think of anything that has this game club setting. Well, aside from the occasional cringe I think I got a pretty good first impression. Let's wait and see... |

I liked the chapter but nevertheless, what I liked most about this chapter was the beautiful beauty of Karen Tendou, she is very beautiful but not as good as the ones I like the most, it is because she has cried just because Amano is busy for other games. |

Characters are good. Animation is good. Story is common but not annoyingly cliche, 8/10 solid start. |

Pretty good first episode! I was about half was through the fist episode and thinking "well this is another generic anime with a boring MC and a predictable plot" but the twist end to the episode gives me some hope that this anime can be alright...hopefully I'm not wasting my time with this one |

i thought we were past the era of pathetic MCs who act retarded? but at the very least he showed some character towards the end, That "Gaming Club" is really weird any normal person would be turned off by the atmospshere, some people saying they were welcoming towards the end? Hah it doesnt change the fact that they didnt give a shit at the start |

MC i so annoying I want to punch the shit out of him. Would of accepted. I know it isn't that great a reason to no like the show, but he is too annoying. Also got a few things wrong about games that kind of annoyed me but whatever. Main thing that saved this for me is that the character liked the enjoyment not competition. Good thing he have a legit reason and not complete retard. Which I agree with his reasoning. Though he already is by how rude he is to her. It's pretty good I enjoyed it. Still skeptical, so far nothing to special. |

First episode was not that bad in my opinion. Tbh, I'm only watching it because the main topic are games. We'll see what's gonna be later, but I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed. |

ffs, her name is Aguri lol I watched too much Formula One didn't I First few minutes felt like watching the first pages of an average eromanga animated Kinda average art...unspectacular directing, stereotypically shite MC(till now) Time passing slowly. But strangely endearing somewhat. Maybe promising. Could be entertaining. Only qualm is can I relate to that retard of an MC when he does the inevitable-looking romance with the Mono guy |

So many scenes that try too hard to be funny. Scenes that try to wrig out, "za feelz" without a proper warrant. And that ending...what the hell? The guy politely declines. The girl has 3 other members. Yet she comes back...and cries. Well, that, and the banana peel thing, probably hints that the girl is just a spoiled whiny shit. |

Well , the first episode was ok, but it didn't really explore the possibilities of this anime. We were presented the antagonist for like 5-10 seconds , which got me interested a bit.For now it has small potential. |

I actually liked this more than I thought I would; I originally planned to drop it after one episode, but I'll continue watching it for now. Some of the comedy is a little too predictable though (MC accepting Mono's request instead of grabbing main girl's hand) |

Why do people think this first episode was 5/5 worthy? So far it's been a completely generic 5/10 show with a bland plot, characters and setting. |

The loner MC strikes again.Tendo is quite cute and MC's delusion sure cracked easily as he's not the 'special member'. Plz don't focus on romance, just stick to comedy and this'll be a good show. |

O que temos aqui, GAMERS! que incrivel gostei muito dos personagens foram bem criados e espero uma evolução do mesmo jeito porem a parte tecnica da animação porem nao abafou a comedia do anime e o entreterimento. (What we have here, GAMERS! I really like the characters were well created and I expect an evolution in the same way but the technical part of the animation but it did not drown out the comedy of the anime and the entertainment.) |
