Hello there, everyone
What I am not putting on my list:
All the DB/DBZ movies and other anime movies with infinityfold amounts of movies. I've watched them all. But I'm not putting them on my list because it creates many unnecessary entries and ruins it.
It is also possible I might have watched some OVA or unaired episode from many different series but didn't put it on my list for the same kind of reason as above.
To be honest, I find MAL's listing to be rather flawed with different pages for different variant of the same thing. They should create a type of listing for each type. TV, OVA, Movie, unaired episode or Web episode and the likes. In case of manga or light novel, it doesn't have such a different amount of different media types so it's fine.
Anyway... about genres I can't stand it pretty much goes like this:
* Mecha
* Space
* Sport
* Music
* Historical
There are of course exceptions or classics but otherwise you'll probably never see those in my list. Otherwise...I can watch pretty much anything even casually.
In my favourites, I generally don't put things highly acclaimed that I see in every-fucking-one's favourites like, say, Fate/Zero or NGE or Serial Experiment Lain because I believe it's a waste to do as the herd. There's no point in putting everyone's favourites in yours even if it is.
About my tastes, I like things that go psychological, dark or epic.
I like the use of imagery, leitmotive, litterary devices such as analogy, metaphor and allegory and such "artistic" language. Might be why I like the Monogatari series so much as it plays around with this. I absolutely love the use of symbolism. Symbolism is pretty good.
I like dark, hopeless stuff where the heroes struggle all they can to reach their good ending. Having them suffer so much for their good ending is a good way to not give freebie-good-endings. And when you reach a good ending after such epic, hopeless situations, you can feel how rewarding it is. I however, stand in complete opposition to anything that fatalistically end up badly with no means of reaching a good ending. Ah, but it depends on the context though. Some things like Devilman are among the "It's-fine-I-guess" type.
Don't misunderstand. I can love edgy stuff. I also can love fluffy cute things. The point is, the story of the Anime/Manga/Light Novel/Visual Novel and whatnot has to stand for itself and be able to stand on its own feet.
Demography can be pretty much anything. But I'll prefer more mature stories. Seinen and even Josei are fine, really. Even a few exceptional shoujo, but it really depends on what it is and what it's trying to do. As long as it's good, that is. I can also like more mature or dark type of shounen, but it has to be good. Otherwise, I tend to avoid shounen altogether, especially if it's the "I'll become the x" cliché mostly from nekketsu or "shounen fight manga number ikse-trillion".
I like stuff that delves into human psyche, ideas and points of view. Don't think I'm some politically-driven audience guy because I am not. But a story that is meaningless in and of itself doesn't need to exist in the first place. If there is nothing more to the story than the story itself then I find it pointless.
Entering into jerkface mode it seems industry has forgotten about it and is losing itself in freefall-abyss. In the same manner that today game consoles and games in general tend to concentrate more on power capabilities and other artificial eye powder and puffery instead of enjoyability, gameplay or lore, everything is starting to become an "advanced" clone of one big "Nothing". Trying to look awesome to impress people or shareholders but in reality they are empty and lifeless, with no personality whatsoever. Only anime #x of the season. What a plague...
Anime is doing these things. It's lacking in personality and identity. It's lacking in art. It's lacking in lore. It's lacking in depth.
As you can probably see, I love Steins;Gate and Re:Zero. Do not hesitate if you want to talk about those. And I'm quite fond of Emillia. Deal with it.
Aaaaaaaanyway. It should do with my about me page. I've actually never ever written so much about myself (or at all lol).
Despite what it looks like, I am actually a nice person so don't hesitate to come and talk if you want to.

You?
By the way, Who told you, Too many 'Damn Blue Maid' fans these days? Actually you can say too many 'Damn Blue Maid' fans those days.
That was the past now it is the present. "Wake up to Reality".
Now Emilia & Subaru are much more popular than that 'Damn Blue Maid'. As an example Emilia have already surpassed that 'Damn Blue Maid' in Favourites in MAL, And everyone (Novel readers) started saying Subaru is the best Isekai Protagonist ever created. And if there are any 'Damn Blue Maid' fans out there, they should be smashed against the wall.
So accept the present Now.
It's okay it's okay... I'm sorry..
Emilia was, Emilia & Subaru was hated by many people because of that Demon Maid. So I don't like anything about her. She is just a scoundrel... (But I like Ram okay, she is a good character not a bastard like her damn sister)
Thanks
There wasn't exactly any spoiler and i dont think anyone reads my comments lol so it's fine
Well sure Satella, Roswaal and Ram(I still can't understand why) are the obsessed types but I'd like to disagree on the rest.
In Subaru's case... Guy's pretty much obsessed with saving everyone lol and he genuinely loves Emilia.
As for Lia and puck, it's more of a possesiveness I'd say? Seeing Emilia's backstory, no one can blame her for not letting go of relationships, specially one built on trust.
Have you read the ln btw?
Also, nice to meet ya! ☆(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*
Those are just a bunch of remtards who want themselves an obsessive waifu. Never really got the appeal smh
You've got yourself a backer, sir
