 The August 2017 issue of Media Factory's Comic Flapper magazine is announcing on Wednesday that manga Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro will receive an anime adaptation. Kadokawa revealed a promotional video for the anime at its Anime Expo panel on Saturday. The series is slated to premiere in 2018.Staff Character Design: Mayuko Matsumoto (Handa-kun) Studio: Diomedea The comedy manga is written and illustrated by Tadataka Kawasaki and has been serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper magazine since April 2014. Kadokawa Media Factory has published six compiled manga volumes as of March 23. | The manga is ok at times, a poor man's Nichijou unfortunately mixed with some crass elements that rarely work. Doesn't look like the studio choice is going to do it any favours, but will keep an eye out for staff. |
