| So I'm confused...it was a recap episode but it's technically episode 22 (or eps. 10 of season 2) which is weird. It feels like the studio didn't have time to make a new episode...because it would be weird to do a recap of a 12 episode season after episode 9! Not a bad recap episode though I guess...the preview got me super excited for next episode! That Berserk Armor looks amazing!!! |

| One of the worse recaps I have seen. Going with a score lower 2 than the normal series (5 vs 7). Too much skipping (it started even a bit early in the 2016 series). This wasn't really necessary. They should have recapped the 2016 series before airing the new series (so they could have started 1 week later - not having to fill this gap now with a recap cause they started early). |

The weird thing is usually you put a recap after episode number 12/13 but with Berserk 2017 it's after episode 9 and for a series that is just 13 episodes long. There's only one reason for this and it's resource mismanagement. |

| Here's the kicker: this isn't even the first recap. There was a recap right before this Berserk season started airing too. The production issues in the previous episode...and now this recap - I can only hope this is all because they put everything they had into the upcoming fight in the next episode. The important matter here, of course, is the ridiculous amount of recaps this anime season. Tight production deadlines, limited budgets, overwork - it's obviously getting bad. STOP MAKING SO MUCH ANIME PER SEASON, JAPAN. Lighten the load. For god's sake. |

| I am legit only watching this show just because I love the Berserk manga. If I only sorta liked Berserk I would not even still be here. The opening is also not nearly as good as as from 2016. I mean whenever I see Griffith make that shit eating grin I just put my palms on my head like oh boy. |

| It was just all the actions scenes put together (2016/2017). Fortunately, the quality of the animation progressed over the episodes. I'm still hyped to see the next fight. |

| As expected, things are less epic in their condensed form. Was nice seeing some of 2016 again though, also the extended version of the ED. |

| Was it really necessary at this point of the story? Especially when there were few minutes presenting things from the first season...? I think this recap was not necessary. At least not before the season's end. Not to forget everything was extremely rushed and it resembled more a compilation of random scenes than actual recap meant to remind about certain stuff happening in the past in the anime. |
