TV Anime 'Shoukoku no Altair' Additional Cast Members Announced

The official website for Shoukoku no Altair has announced additional cast members. It has also previously announced that SID will perform opening theme song titled "Rasen no Yume." The anime is slated to air on Saturdays starting July 8 at 2:25 a.m. on MBS and TBS, followed by BS-TBS (via Anime-ism timeslot).

Cast
Ibrahim: Takuya Satou (D.Gray-man Hallow)
Shara: Yoko Hikasa (Frame Arms Girl)

The title alone was enough to catch my attention. The synopsis seems really promising. Definitely at the top of my radar now.

TBH anything by Mappa these days seem at least worth a shot.

I'm a keeper after Ushio to Tora, Yuri on Ice, and Shingeki no Bahamut.
They making better stuff than even Madhouse now.

Oh I didn't even notice. Well now it's a must watch. MAPPA has been a consistent studio for me. I especially liked the first Garo series. If you haven't seen Punch Line, I recommend that as well. Initially it seems like a cheap fanservice show, but I thought it turned into something genuinely remarkable (my favorite MAPPA work so far tbh).
