Damn, now that's how you present a show. I didn't think it'd be this good but it was. Having a normal MC experience something that's out of this world while leaving some mystery to it all of why what happened happened. It was nicely paced, the action scenes were good and that soundtrack was pretty beast imo.

Very good start so far and looking forward to it.

The premise looks interesting, but I don't like this as a first episode. There is way too much action in this episode and felt it needed more quiet moments. The only ones we got was a few minutes returning to the real world and the post credits scene. I do wonder the implications, if any fictional being came to life you probably would distance yourself from it believing it to be fake. If fictional beings became as sapient as human beings I would not be surprised if they wanted to murder their creators because being born from a light novel would suck ass. Every shitty thing that happened to them in their stories came from a capricious author.

I think that the chaos of the first episode is meant to demonstrate the chaos of fictional characters emerging into the MC's life. He is the narrator here. As to the question of forcing the creators to alter things or killing them outright, the anime will deal with this. After all, in PV3 we're treated to a scene where Celesia Jupiteria points her sword at a man who is undoubtedly her creator.

I also strongly suspect that Himegimi's motive has much to do with the suicide of the girl displayed within the first five minutes of the show; one of the first things she says when facing Celesia is "My master liked you, too."

Another item that we can't account for, however, is her reaction to seeing Shota. We're dealing with worlds that have departed from the timeframes originally set from them by their source material, so I can't help but wonder if, in some abstract way, Shota might be Himegimi's creator.

Something tells me this show is not gonna be successful at all since that mc hits a little too close to home for most otakus. But maybe they'll like that since they can self insert and live their 3D (¿?) waifu fantasies.
But hey this was surprisingly fun. It's even better once you take all the terrible dialogue spoken by the LN characters as parodic.

Since they're, you know, LN characters.

Hopefully the remaining episodes are about the LN people interacting with the world (and the internet) instead of more "You do not understand my true power, your majesty!"

Idk bout you guys but this show is like "a chuuni story made by chuuni for chuuni."

Not saying it's bad, but seeing how the setting is basically real world and another world somehow "merging" into one instead of normal isekai makes me cringe even more. Especially those ridiculously long fictional name.

What's the big deal? You are getting tons of isaekai crap, and this is a refreshing change for once which has potential for new ideas. Hope it's at least better than the rehashed isaekai garbage out there

..dude, I'm not even saying it's a "big deal".

I even said that it's not bad. It just makes me cringe, that's all. Just like any other isekai.

Oh, if you asked me "Why do you even watch this then?!" Because i didn't read the synopsis and didn't know this show is isekai-ish.

Yeah that's why I asked you that I see nothing cringey here, especially compared to the tons of isaekai cringeshit we are getting these days. Feels like a bit fate/zero ish.

Amazing first episode, the best first episode I have seen from this season. Ost was on point, art and animation were pretty great and consistent and the angle changes during the scenes were glorious. There was also a bonus insert song during the first fight, this look awesome! I just hope it doesn't drop hard and it will probably be my favorite anime of this season.

It's good then if you don't see anything cringy about the show. Keep it up.

Though i slightly disagree about comparing this to Fate Zero. MC in FZ is already know about the "weird thing" like Servant, Holy Grail, etc going on there. He's already expecting it.

Of course both won't be 100% similar, that's a no brainer. I just got those vibes because of similar premise, heroes from another world/time (this time, from anime) are summoned to the modern world in a sort-of battle royal theme, and also the same director of F/z. If you find it cringey, keep it up and suit yourself.

Quite a decent start for a first episode. They done the characters introduction nicely, the action scene is well done. Soundtrack as expected from Sawano Hiroyuki, which is also one of the reason I noticed this show XD. Place some hope to this for not to end up like AZ then BAM, probably one of the best of Spring 2017 IMO

That was really good for a first episode, I didn't even know what to expect and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by how good this was. I thought this show would be airing today, I suppose I was mistaken about the timings.

The MC is pretty relatable with his Otaku habits. xD

I like the premise of having fictional characters mount a revolution against their creators. I kinda understand why the show was called Re:Creators and why the TwinTail girl called the world, the land of Gods, Kinda makes sense since they were in the very land where they were created.

Action and Music are awesome, really looking forward to this now.

That MC better hides his doujinshi from all those girls!

Anyway picked this up on a whim, pretty generic MC but it's only the first episode so this could go a lot of ways. Also liked those action scenes.

So far chuuni girl is my favorite one, dat violinrifle moment.

Pretty decent start. Hope the animation keeps up. Sawano music ayyy

I think I've already got a good grip on the premise of the story. The fact that MC is also a budding illustrator adds to it. Basically the "gods" are the humans who create characters for manga/anime. These characters developed a life of their own and now seek answers from their creators.

The title is rather sweet if this is the case. Creators of characters that were made for recreational purposes.

Fun first episode, laughed when the MC started slapping the shit out of his iPad like a retard. Hat twin tails battle loli is the best thing so far. Love her design.

I don't know how this anime original is going to turn out. This can be a complete train wreck or a surprise hit. So far, nothing in the first episode made me go WOW, but I did enjoy it. I'm cautiously optimistic about this one; mostly due to Rei Hiroe being behind the writing. Then again, the guy who directed Aldnoa Zero is in charge....

good to know cause that anime (and especially season 2) was dumpster fire.

still i liked the first episode alot so this is an easy pickup. really dope soundtrack too

Though... it wouldn't hurt to at least ONCE try and change the male MC template for once, right? Why does every single male MC we get in such anime need to be like this?

Well, this wasn't as bad as I expected, but it's still not great either. If I had to describe this episode, it was kind of fun, but dumb. Not a lot of stuff makes sense and I feel like they just want to squeeze in as much mindless action without explaining anything for now. i want answers. The animation was pretty OK, nothing too special but not bad either. Characters from so far are kind of cute and I can't say I hate any of them yet. The OP song is so good.

This has a lot of trainwreck potential left in it. Oh, and of course they can understand each other, they all conveniently speak Japanese, it's a common thing in anime, but it's still bullshit.

Start was as I expected, no plot really, just throwing everyone in and making it look good, being 22 episodes I don't mind it and from a single episode I'm already keen

I don't wanna get my hopes to high, I have solid hopes for this but after my previous dream team destroyed AZ because they changed writers after episode 3 I'm going to keep some skepticism until we get more proper plot

Only disappointment with this opening episode was a complete lack of a Sawano drop, like seriously I'm not expecting KLK over-the-top or AZ styled dropping a space castle onto New Orleans killing every mofo while playing a song with the lyrics I SAY FRY!!! But hey I'm buying this OST for sure (One day)

This show will appeal to a lot of people, but it will probably go somewhat unnoticed because it's on Amazon. Amazon Strike is the bane of my existence. I have a Prime account and used to be able to watch all the exclusive anime offered by Amazon, but after Strike came out you now need both. I not only have to pay $10/month for Prime but an extra $5 for anime now? Fuck off! In all honesty, when I look at shows getting licensed I pray to God that either Crunchyroll or Funimation picks them up. They have the best compression and video players, and you don't need to pay extra for a service you're already paying for!!!

The badass music and ED song? aside, this was really good

We got an alright MC who as of right now doesn't seem like an idiot or is over the top and is rather acting kinda like someone IRL about and all 3 of the girls so far all have something likable about them (the post scene was funny lol and the short white haired girl is something else xD) - Really nice humor between them via their dialogue

The action scenes were pretty good and I was VERY impressed with the Gilgamesh girl and the red haired girl...And did I mention how great the music is for this?

They didn't really explore what's going on but this is a 2 cour series so we have plenty of time....But as of right now, I'm really liking the concept of this series and I don't think I've seen a series yet where actual fictional characters come to the real world....Its usually either like SAO or LH

Overall, really nice start and I hope that the visuals continue to be good
