THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Welp, this episode's direction turned out to be what I had expected.

Basically Yuu meeting Fuuka again like they did the first time on their iconic rooftop. The Fuuka confession though...I bet the anime planned out this from the very start.

In regards to the show as a whole, it was pretty meh overall. The anime original route felt awkward and the storytelling overall didn't impress me either. 4/10. Like Seo's other anime, I don't expect another season for this any time soon.

Well, we were expecting this ending, a confession and rushed romantic relationship. Yuu and Fuuka but there are several holes. Why showing rabbits, there is no point in this story. In the manga, the rabbits have some point but here no.

The hedgehogs returned, but we didn't see them playing or anything similar. The band wasn't upset with Fuuka after all the drama she created at least in the manga Sara talked with Aoi. Finally, Mogami gives them a contract if I were him I would be upset.

A different ending was a mistake because they didn't change the rest parts of the story, they tried to make a weird fusion between the elements from the manga and created a forced and a rushed romantic animation called Fuuka with a big narrative hole that can't be filled.

The best was seeing Suzuka.

Rushed plotline + flat MC + scumbag Fuuka + Koyuki being rejected for no logical reason = a shitty anime and a great waste of time. The studio that made this abomination should be ashamed of themselves...

Classic ending I guess, nothing special but it wasn't all that bad.

Koyuki and Suzuka literally gave Fuuka the same advice. xD
Also don't get me wrong but I just find it amusing how nice and wise Suzuka is compared to how she was in the anime.

We have Yuu with the classic protagonist 6th sense being able to find out where Fuuka was and eventually they make up and perform the live.

The post credit scene was pretty sweet.

Overall, I don't know? It was a decent show for the most part but these last few episode tanked really hard, forced drama, forced romance, characters with complete 180 changes and moves. The music aspect of the show is nice but sadly the forced romance drama brings it down heavily. Plus they completely trolled us with Truck-kun. xD Sucks what happened to Koyuki, she was the best character of this show. Honestly, if this is what they wanted to do from the start, why even bother introducing her? They could have just focused on Yuu and Fuuka just like the initial episodes and it would've turned out way better than this.

6/10, I liked it more than Suzuka though. XD

Shitty ending it would have been better if the truck helped out but no the anime wants to follow a different story. In the manga Fuuka was actually likable in the anime she not likeable at all, she decided to quit the band without talking to the band first then see ignores Yuu for a while, later they expect her to the band. If only Yuu choose Koyuki instead of Fuuka and what's going to happen to the other Fuuka.

I guess it was kinda nice, the cliche route ended. About the adaptation, i think the start was pretty good, said it couple of times that anime felt really different than manga, not in a good or bad way, just different. But then the plot went to Koyuki's development and for a second i thought that she might win in the end, but all that was just thrown under the truck bus for some (title) reason.
The last couple of episodes were changed which led to making Fuuka's character completely different and after reading manga it feels so strange to see "that" Fuuka.
To sum it up at this point this might be called typical Seo Kouji's manga adaptation, i'll give it 6/10, don't think it was that bad just simply average.

And this is how you screw up a great thing. A completely different route than the manga is not a bad idea. A happy ending is not the problem. But if you start something then go all the way. Huge disappointment.

They avoided the most important scene from the manga just to make things "happy" and focused on a different heroine but still got back to the original route. The results? Not just one half assed relationship but 2 half assed relationships. Nice side characters turned into puppets with no self worth or will. A great Fuuka turned into just a tsundere brat. A nice story turned into a clicheic one. A potentially great show turned into just one of those failed adaptations. The only good thing about this is the soundtrack.

yes she is, everything she did was calling for attention (Yuu's attention mostly) she didn't even do anything right and ruined most of the things in the anime, she had a terrible plot armor, in the end she never did anything for him, she was a plot device to extend the story in order to make an unnecessary drama with Fuuka (wich i also dislike)so, for me she's an Attention Whore, Fuuka did the same on the latest episodes. thats why I Root for Sara AKA best girl

The series was okay. At least they went the fuuka route and not the koyuki route. I highly doubt there will be a 2nd season, without our saviour truck kun there is no Aoi and no Yuu character development. Also we already saw koyuki's sideproject in the ending without tfm being there.

I still liked the show.

Wow they changed another particular in the last episode (pratically spoiling Koyuki's band which it should've appear in the next arc). Maybe it's a stupid idea but this could be a clue than a season 2, even if they changed pratically 80% of the product, it's not impossible (well, not that it would be fundamental).
For the rest, ep12 was just the typically happy ending, nothing more. No kiss tho but it's ok.

Ah if you didn't noticed, Fuuka in anime it's pratically hated, Fuuka in manga was 1st in popularity ranking when she was dead more than a year before opening the poll. What a difference.

How does a professional idol (A pretty big and busy one at that) who willingly spent countless days away from the man that she loves because of her job = An attention whore lol

Attention whoring isn't far from being obsessed with someone and if that were the case for Tama, she would have quit her job ages ago....Plus I didn't realize that wanting to spend time/catch up with your childhood friend/the person of your dreams (And especially given their circumstances whereas they haven't seen each other for YEARS) means that you're an AW

I hated this happy ending. Is coward and pathetic. Fukka is total bitch, even in the finale. It was ridicoulous the follow yout dreams speech, her did everything wrong and now is the hero of the day. About Yuu's confession.. if he was this much in love with Fuuka why he feed Koyuki's love and illusions by 2/3 of the show, is he a douchebag or an idiot? Even the musics in the finale where shitty, all over again the old tunes and the new song composed by Yuu is the worst by far in te show. And we didn't even saw a glimpse of Koyuki new band or the legendary Hedgehogs back on track... Well, pretty bad finale for a terrible show, keeping the 3, is what this pile of shit deserves

That awkward moment when you watched only because of the "death spoilers" and it never happened... Well, it wouldn't be the problem if it turned out a decent show in its own right but it never even got close to something you can take seriously. All this forced drama and "accidental" fanservice. It was generic from the start and in the end leaves with just one question: what was the point?

Well... that ending was rather stupid... predictable and stupid to be fairly honest. But then again it's not like I really cared about the show in the first place until Episode 11 made me feel furious as hell about it, and then getting even more furious about the other episodes, probably frustrating to get honestly.

Overall: This show is terrible. It did everything in the execution, the band, the characters, the cliches, and everything I could mention very wrong. Probably the worst drama and romance I have ever seen when it comes to that regard... Fuuka and Yuu never had any sort of chemistry to begin with, which is not only forced, but also melodramatic. Nothing makes sense on this show at this point but oh well. The only good thing about this series is Tama-chan (because she's not a Mary Sue and a despicable character compared to Fuuka and damn braindead like everyone else) and the music with the exception of the OP which is the most hate inducing Opening I have ever gotten so far, probably one of the worst Openings I have ever disliked if it wasn't for the stupid vocalist ruining the tone of the song itself. The Songs in the ED are pretty good at the very least as well with the OST.

But that's probably giving too much considering this is very contrived, messy, melodramatic, used it's cliches worse than a typical LN adaptation (and I'm the type to not even mind cliches but maaan did this show made me feel like I hated it), generic, outright retarded writing and forced.

My final score for this monstrousity is probably either a 2 or 3/10. Just, terrible.

Hmm! what a episode it was and sadly this one was 'finale episode'.

Well imHo, this episode was better than last couple of episode.I didn't expect to be that great from this finale but Suzuka saved the time by advising Fuuka by the help of her own experience.Well don't care what happened to that manga but this one looks completely sequel to its procedure.I admit that I was angry since from the very begining episode and gradually the my rage was getting more intense, but final episode brought some good moments that watered my rage.
To be honest,I enjoyed this anime for no reason even though the plot clinches could make irritated me but final episode was bit fun and overall it was anime that we,Mal users, enjoyed fairly.
What could make this little 'more' better only if they could been more serious on planning and developing the some other side character a bit more. They misused their time on developing Tama's character more(Maybe she got popular of all sudden? Nah it can't be)
I remember having read Suzuka manga before this anime comes out, and yeah by the look of first episode it didn't impress me especially it had so clinch moments. But the ending was quite good so my score jumped 2->5/10. Cool, but I hope this won't come sequel and never will....Because it ended respectfully. Yuu gotten better as a character as he met Fuuka. This also mean, love has the power to change future!

Remark: It's an OKay high-school romance anime.

Cliche ending, but it's kinda fitting for a show that has been compotent but unspectacular for the most part, albeit with a couple dreadful episodes and a very promising first couple. Maybe it's just cos I havn't read the manga, but I honestly prefer this to what actually happened to Fuuka (which has been spoiled to death at this point) and then the stuff that I've been told comes afterwards.

Clichefest is all i can say. Forced drama and that Yuu had to end up with Fuuka lead to this shows downfall.

It started out ok i guess but just went downhill really fast, truck kun didn't even make the sort of appearance we all waited for.
