THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ah interesting info dump about Bege this chapter. What a sick bastard though. I think this deal offered to Luffy will be risky by Jinbei. Not too surprised that he would accept as they do have a common enemy. Still, I can't wait for them to crash the wedding party. It should be epic to see! |

Alright Hancock on the cover page. Ohh Sanji don't make Nami made. Bege is one sneaky guy. Wants to take out Big Mom. This wedding is going to get crazy. Straw Hats & Bege possibly working together. This is gonna be interesting. |

I really like the new trio Brook,Carrot and Chopper this chapter. Seems like we will be really facing a yonko soon. Will Luffy made an alliance with Capone to take down Big Mom. The tea party is so hype and Nami did the fatal blow to Sanji xD |

That was a lot of exposition. Didn't expect to know so much detail regarding Bege. That's crazy. Glad Pekoms survived the whole ordeal. I love that Jimbei called what Luffy was going to vote on. XD Now for two members of the "Worst Generation" to meet and take down Big Mom. I can't help but wonder if the same thing will end up happening with Kid in taking down Kaido. |
I reject your reality, and substitute my own. |

The moment I read that Bege took out every captain or boss he encountered I knew he was going for Big Mom as well.Didn't expect though Jinbei to propose a cooperation with him. This will be fairly interesting to see how the negotiations will go.Lol'd at Nami's "I won't forgive you" she crashed Sanji's heart for a bit. xD |

This has the potential to be the worst arc in all of One Piece The chapter in itself was an exposition train, well drawn decent pacing. But, here are it´s problems 1. We all knew Capone wanted to take down Big Mom, everything was already set in stone, this level of exposition wasn´t required, the only actual development, that wasn´t repetition, of former content was Luffy flip flopping between hating Capone to agreeing to work with him in the timespan of 15 seconds. 2. If Capone fails, Oda only proofs what everyone expected already and this was predictable and boring. The only quality to come out of his betrayal, could be a display of Big Mom´s abilities, when she destroys Capone. 3. If Big Mom actually loses even through backstabbing, this is atrocious payoff for her buildup. Fairy Tail level of badness. If Capone actually defeats suceeds in defeating Big Mom, not killing her, this is the worst arc in One Piece and everyone with an ounce of dignity should downgrade this series, although it´s barely probable. |

Does Nami not realise she's partly responsible for Sanji's current predicament? Does she not remember getting herself captured by Capone on Zou which forced Sanji to go along with the tea party invitation? I know it was played for comedy but what the hell was she even talking about? Anyway, I like the exposition of Capone. Always nice to get some depth to the characters. |

Good chapter. Hancock cover was great. <3 I liked the scene with Luffy holding his hand upto the rain. Quite an excessive amount of detail on Bege's background, he's quite the ruthless Mafia head. Bege's attempt to take down Big Mom should prove really interesting. Luffy sure decided pretty quickly that he'd meet with Bege. xD Wonder what Bege is gonna offer Luffy. :o |

Nice cover page, I will say that. Well first of all if anyone can understand why Sanji did what he did and what he went though, it is Nami, so I don't want her to be all holy than now, because did some crappy hurtful things in the past. Just saying, but leave it for Sanji to take that as a proposal. The only Vinsmoke I care about saving is Reiju, if the others die, you won't see me shedding any tears, that's for sure. So Jimbei's plan is take advantage of this chaos and make this deal. I am surprised is consider this, I mean Luffy be a very stubborn illogical persons, I guess he has matured. Anyway good chapter. Still I wouldn't trust this guys as far as I can throw them. But we do have a enemy, if we can take down Big Mom, we will worry about that afterwards. |

Bege sounds like a crazy and fucked up person, my goodness. This wedding ceremony is going to get even crazier since he wants to take out Big Mom, it seems like everyone is trying to kill each other. Lets see if he and Luffy can get along and work well together. |

There was a lot of enlightening information on Capone this chapter. I suspected that he was secretly after Big Mom, and this chapter confirmed it. However, I was not expecting this team up between him and Luffy! This should be interesting. Also, I get that Sanji is a good person, but I wish they could just grab Reiju and go. That would save them all this trouble. The rest of his family doesn't deserve his kindness. |

I predicted it. Luffy would want to fight Big Mom during her party, but there'd be another "external" ally, or intruder. I thought it'd be Black Beard, but it turned out to be Capone. Maybe during the wedding someone else shows up too. Capone is a sneaky bastard, I find him one of the worst allies possible if Oda doesn't prove him to be good somehow. It feels like as soon as they defeat Big Mom, he'd try to kill Luffy. |

Overall, another really good chapter. Great cover with Hancock. Loved the backstory on Capone,(plus that ending reminded me of a mesh of Godfather and Scarface. Props Oda). Like many others, I'm curious to see how the alliance between Luffy & Capone works, and if it's successful, would Capone turn on Luffy? I can't wait to see how this all turns out. |

Yes, because Pekoms has that much of a relationship with the Strawhats. So many interactions they had, so much he did for them and on top of that he´s a loyal Big Mom supporter who Luffy intends to take down and let´s not forgett that he immediately forgave Bege to announce excited that they will work together. |

I lost respect when Gang Bege joined Big Mom. But I was interested with little sub-plot that was highlighted the last couple of chapters. Now I have massive respect for this guy. The Worst Generation should be like that. They all shall aim to defeat the Yonko. I do find it odd that Luffy wanna team up with Bege. It was cool with Law, but the Supernovae are technically his rivals. Well, same objectives. |

The chapter was okay, too dragged on tbh, in less than 5 pages all of the stuff about Capone could've been dealt with. I mean there's no way in hell he will be able to take down Big Mom, if he does it would be pretty underwhelming since the yonko's are build up to be one of the strongest in OP; look at Whitebeard and how much it took to take that man down, you're telling me Big Mom can be taken out in such a short time (given that this arc has around 10-ish chapters before it finishes). |

Capone's gonna make them an offer they can't refuse. I hope that's not Ceasar Clown with that disaster hair style. Or trying to pretend he is remotely cool. We still have no answer how they plan to deal with the Zeff situation, but I'll see how it plays out, I guess. |

Have some ideas how the whole Big Mom thing might go down, but I will wait and see what Oda does. To be honest the arcs since the TS aren't that great, with the exception of Zou, and this arc personally is one of my least favorite. |

As for the flip flopping - it's wierd, but it might get elaborated later on. Luffy's logic can be bizzare sometimes. That´s not in question here and regardless. If we as the audience were to accept Luffy´s logic as "bizzare". This Manga would be godawful, because it´d be an universally applicable excuse for everything he does. Luffy has a defined character as retarded as he may be and this chapter he contradicted himself within the span of 2 panels. The contradiction within this chapter lies in the fact that he immediately changes his mind from "hating" Capone to becoming willing to cooperate with him in the timespan of a few seconds. It´s obvious that Luffy considers Pekoms a friend to an extend, but it´s bad writing to let Luffy go from hating someone for hurting Pekoms, who he cannot be close enough to have this motivation for, to working with the same guy he hated mere seconds ago. It was amazing writing when he teamed up with Crocodile for the sake of saving his brothers life. It made sense back then. Crocodile was a person Luffy did hate, but he put his feelings aside for the sake of his brother and their quarrel was already fairly far in the past.Even Vivi who was hurt directly through crocodile´s actions considered Luffy´s decision as necessary and trusted in it. This chapter however is nonsensical bullshit. Even if it turns out that he´s been acting. To deceive who? The Strawhats who they are his friends? Brulee, who they have captured and wants them dead anyway? Go ahead, I dare you to refute this argument. |

What´s the point of the "Capone Hype" if we definately know that he´ll fail and if he suceeds it ruins Big Mom as a character. |

But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion. http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30 It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist. |

In your obsession of being against animal cruelty you fail to realize what is implied here. Capone most likely chops the heads of those heads of mafia just for the fun of it. Not a fan of Luffy-Bege Alliance. Hopefully it's only temporary. Alliance with Traf is awesome, but I think Alliances should be used sparingly right? However, to play devil's advocate to myself, Bege turning on Big Mom without an Alliance... Bege would get STOMPED... So I can understand Oda's logic. I'm looking forward to see how this develops! Side note: Hopefully we cut to Nekomamushi soon in his search for Fusichoo Marco!! In this regard it will also will be amazing if we get more info on the Shirohige Kaizokudan (remaining) vs Kurohige Kaizokudan fight! |
